Napa Chicken Sandwich without bacon and a side of Caesar Salad
Diane W.

We came here today with friends for lunch. We had friends visiting San Jose and thought that this location was perfect since it was so close to the 101 fwy. I made reservations and requested a booth for the four of us. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed. I let the young man at the front know about our reservation and he took us to a nice booth and gave us menus. This is a very nice location. It's nice inside and they do offer outdoor seating. We placed our order and had a fun time catching up with our friends. Our food came out 30 minutes later. The waitress warned us not to tough the plates because of how hot they were. Everyone enjoyed their food. One of our friends order the Eureka American burger. The rest of us ordered the Napa chicken sandwich. The only issue I had was the side I picked with my sandwich. I ordered the Caesar side salad and they put it on that piping hot plate with my sandwich. The salad got hot and wilted and did not taste good at all. They should have put it on a separate chilled plate. I didn't complain to the waitress because I wanted to concentrate on my friends. So I just didn't eat the salad. Next time I will not order the Caesar salad. Other than that, everything was great. My friend had never had truffle fries before so she was excited to try them. She really loved them. Next time I will try a different side with my sandwich or burger.

Okay so this was my time at a Eureka. The ambiance is really nice, both inside and outside! And the outside is dog friendly. Service was great! We were seated quickly on a busy Thursday night. My girlfriend and I came just for drinks and dessert. I tried the lavender tea and it was delicious, not too sweet and fresh! We also shared the cheesecake which was divine. I'll be back!

Wonderful brussel sprouts. So tasty. I had the Ahi Tower and they actually gave enough wonton chips! Hubby had the goat cheese citrus salad with salmon and he said it was fab. Our drinks were only $8 on happy hour! He had the old fashioned and I had the house (Caymus) white. Highly recommend. And Steven our server was so friendly and helpful.

I really like Eureka's burgers. My favorite is the bacon jalepeno jam burger. Tried their happy hour menu recently and everything was good, especially for the price. Would recommend the brussel sprouts and al pastor fish taco.

Just wanted to let people know to beware on steal the glass days they may not have any in stock or sold out within minutes. Otherwise, the fried mac & cheese bites are delicious. Lots of TVs for sports.

Loved going to Eureka Santa Clara. I've been to their other locations but this was my first time in the Augustine Drive location. I was a meeting a friend for drinks and dinner. The Wild Child cocktails were superb and the tofu protein bowl hit the spot. Eureka had a good happy hour menu and on Tuesdays they offer 50% off wines. The waiters are attentive and helpful. The tofu protein bowl was amazing and worth the price. The space is inviting and great for meeting friends after work. The complex is packed so I would go there before parking gets full.

A solid spot for a burger and drinks. Can usually walk in without a reservation for dinner on a weekday. The Fresno fig burger is a favorite. Cocktails and beers are always good. Service is fast and friendly. If it's too crowded, we'll sit at the bar. Same menu.

Happy Hour menu. 3 pm to 6 pm M-F.

Came in on a Wednesday at 4 pm for happy hour. The parking lot and the restaurant were both fairly empty. By 6 pm both were full, so if you want to avoid the crowds come early. The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and warm. It wasn't this cavernous sized restaurant so it wasn't noisy at all, while feeling comfortable. The place was clean and the furnishings were trendy and in good shape. It's definitely a nice place to hang out with friends and coworkers. Food and beer was pretty good; what you should expect from a chain restaurant. Service was excellent as the staff came by frequently to check on us and to fill our waters. I would definitely come back here again as this Eureka gives off a nicer vibe than other comparable chain restaurants in the area.

Came here right at 11 to try and beat the rush, so glad we did! Was sat right away, and had a great server, I missed her name but she was great! Manager was checking in on folks and was nice just to say everything was great. Definitely as we were leaving it was getting packed, but didnt effect anything. Everyone was great and the service was great. Ordered a beer and a BBQ burger and it really hit the spot. Sad they dont have henhouse anymore but still loved the selection. Great looking place, good service, good food...WILL BE BACK AGAIN!

Came with work folks from nearby, The nachos were ok, got a fish tacos. Unfortunately no shrimp tacos as i was hoping for that. Its also a bar too, plenty of seating . Can get busy around lunch time . Staff is really nice and helpful Its a classic American spot, and they have many good items but obv not halal meat so cudnt have the burgers and stuff which looked so good. French fries were good that came with the fish tacos

Eureka is the spot for a nice burger. Pair it with a cocktail or beer and you have the perfect meal. We came on Friday night at 7pm and waited for a few minutes. Our server was great, she checked in on us and made sure we always had enough water, condiments, etc. Not the easiest when it comes to parking in this area but overall Santa Clara Square is a nice place to visit.

They have an outdoor area that allows pets. I'm not sure about indoors, but I think I saw a water bowl on the ground inside at the front. So they do seem pet friendly.

There's plenty of seating indoors, outdoors, and at the bar. They also have good amount of TVs for watching games. Unfortunately I thought the service and food here were ok. To drink, I got the On the Wagon mocktail which is basically a variation of a Moscow Mule. I really did like this mocktail. It was so refreshing. For the table, we ordered herb fries and chicken tinga nachos. The herb fries were good. Nothing special. The nachos were not my favorite. The serving was a good amount but it wasn't too flavorful.
