I don't often enjoy Indian food but my husband ordered to go from here about a month ago that was great so I decided to come for myself to see what else was offered. I will say that they may have changed owners because the inside looked new and my husband said it didn't look like the brown interior in the pictures others have left. It's light gray around and looks new. Anyway, I ordered the vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka kabob, and the garlic cilantro naan. The food took awhile to make but considering they made the chicken tikka kabob fresh on the skewer, it made sense. My husband loved the vegetable samosas (it came with two). It came with two sauces- one green and one brown but I'm not sure what the flavors were. I want to say the green almost had a somewhat mint flavor. The chicken tikka masala was good but it a la carte. I needed to ask for rice. The other owners or old recipe that my husband ordered last time came with rice and a salad so it was a bit disappointing that it didn't have the fixings. But overall the flavor was good. I dipped the garlic naan bread in it and it was bomb! The chicken tikka kabob was a tiny bit dry but the lime and onion and sauce it was dressed with really brightened the dish. Overall, although I wish my orders did have some sides already so that it could be like a plate, the flavors were still good. I would say it's not a lunch order unless you're prepared to order everything a la carte. I will still come here again.

Definitely want to give this business a new review because their food is so good and my experience the past two times have been so good! I believe it's under new ownership versus when I last came here! Their service is amazing for dine-in and the food is so delicious and comforting. //CONTEXT// I've came here twice in the past 2-3 months and dined in either by myself or with my friend //ENVIRONMENT// Clean, fast-casual hybrid full service restaurant. More cool tones. They have about 10-14 smaller tables! //FOOD// * Tikka Masala Fries - so tasty! These are just fun and delicious, and you get shredded smaller chicken bits. * Mango Chicken - loved this curry! It's so creamy and a subtle hint of mango and the chicken was very soft. Dip it into the garlic naan and yum! * Chicken Tikka Masala - so bomb! Very tasty and the chicken was also tasty as well. The dishes came with rice and salad, I really liked the salad because I love red onions lol. //SERVICE// I believe it's the owner but he was attentive and kept refilling our waters and checked up on us Overall I will be back! New favorite place

Visited this place over the weekend for lunch. We ordered paneer makhni and malai kofta with their bread platter. The curries were delicious. It usually comes with the rice, so if anybody likes to eat curries with rice, the good thing is that you do not have to order it separately. It is run by a couple and they are really warm and friendly. It was a bit empty for weekend lunch time, but then we went late around 1pm, so not sure if that was the reason. They do have a good variety of vegetarian options on the menu and will surely visit them again.

Saturday night dinner, restaurant was empty inside. Order chicken tikka fries and beef tikka plate. The tikka Masala had more tang than what I was accustomed to, probably from the yogurt they use. Chicken and beef were both tender and delicious. Fries were crisp, rice on the plate was seasoned well. Only negative was the salad had way too much dressing. Overall a decent option, I noticed a lot of the more recent reviews were saying how the quality of food went down. As a first timer I though the food was fine. Okay option if in the area.

    Salad with biryani ?

Wonder why all the Indian food places are in South Orange County? My fav place (bawarchi biryanis) in Lake Forest closed down so I'm on the hunt to discover a new spot that has dank biryani. After checking out the photos & reading a few reviews, it seemed like I couldn't go wrong with this joint! On my Yelp order I selected spicy option & on the order I added a note saying I wuv Spicy. I don't live in the area but I was willing to make the drive but I'll tell ya the place is not close to the 5 fwy & located in an annoying shopping center. I kept walking around & it seemed to take me some time to find this place. Not sure why the biryani came with salad... I have never seen that before. What a waste, I would of rather had more biryani than salad that I don't eat. The spice level is on point! The chicken is boneless but I was disappointed. Seemed like all white meat so yes it will be more dry. Also I can tell it wasn't cooked in a yummy yoghurt sauce, it seemed like it was just baked & spices were added. The rice seemed a bit off too, definitely not what I was expecting. The rice seemed like there was some sort of sauce added vs in the photos it looked more like loose pieces...lol if that makes any sense! It did throw me off when I saw it. The naan? $3.50 for such a small teeny piece!!! My goodness I have never seen naan that small & I would never order that again! The flavor was there, but the bread was tough & a bit over cooked. I only would come here if I'm in the area, but don't see myself coming back anytime soon.

We appreciated the excellent and authentic Indian cuisine. You should give it a try! The Service, who is also excellent in the dining room was comfortable.

Ok, I have been dying to try this place for a whole YEAR now! I kept forgetting about it for some reason. Located in a shopping plaza in Mission Viejo... This place was bomb! There are lots of options here. I decided to keep it simple and for the reason I originally wanted to try this spot so I ordered the tikka masala fries and they were warm and saucy and delicious. Oh my! Next time I'd love to try one of their wraps. Definitely get your exercise in the day you try this because while it's good...it's really rich too! YUM!

Found this place while I was in the area on a weekday night and decided to give it a shot. I usually don't go for a la carte Indian food due to the higher prices but the Indian buffet didn't seem to be available when I went, so i opted for to go. I got to try the classic saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, mango lassi, and even their chicken tikka fries as they seem popular. The chicken tikka fries were well seasoned and flavorful, with quite a bit of pieces of chicken breast to top it off. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like they gave that much when you compare it to something like some Carne asada fries. Also, another downside would be the way it was packaged. The box didn't allow the heat to disappate from the fries and it was on the very bottom of bag, so by the time I tried it, it was soggy. Definitely an item you should eat there. The saag paneer was pretty good. It was soft, creamy spinach that is lighter on the flavor side. Definitely wished there was more paneer included, but compared to other places I've seen, the container for a la carte was bigger! Definitely a plus. The chicken tikka masala here was well seasoned but the meat itself was still on the dryer side even when soaked in all the sauce. Although the sauce was pretty good with the naan, the chicken itself could be better. The garlic naan here was on the softer and thicker side compared to others that might was thinner and crisper. Does well in soaking up sauce and picking up food! As a garlic fiend, definitely wished it had more garlic to it. The mango lassi might actually be the best thing I got here. It had the creaminess and thickness I look for in a lassi, without it being too overly sweet. Actually tasted like just mango was used without any added sweeteners! Overall there were a lot of "buts" in this review but it's by no means a bad place. I would come back to try their Indian buffet if I was in the area again.
