I've been going to Express Lube for at least 7-8 years now, and every single time, I've received the best service possible for my car. What I appreciate most is that they give me straight information without being condescending or impatient. They'll show you exactly what's wrong with your car and clearly outline the costs. They also understand that cost can be an issue and will break down repairs based on urgency, which I really appreciate. I'm driving a 1998 Nissan, and recently, I needed multiple repairs. They knocked it out of the park--it's driving like new now! I've been doing my vehicle oil changes here for a little over a year now and they do a quick, efficient, and clean job every time on both my cars. I know they do more than oil changes but I do my mechanical work elsewhere. However other clients say they do a fine job on other maintenance needs. Steve (owner) is very knowledgeable and transparent with the health of one's car. The superstars here are Jose and Juan. These guys are f*** amazing! They're pretty responsive and are friendly no matter your car issues or budget. They walk you through the whole process themselves, from drop off to pick up. Also, they have a stamp card for each time you visit their shop. Make sure to get one next time you're in there. It's not often you find honest repair shops that go above and beyond but; these guys are golden. I came in because my AC was blasting hot. Knew i just needed some freon so that's all I asked for. I also let them do a free AC check. Everything was fine (there was a minor leak too, about 15 bucks to fix) until about two hours later. They let me know that they turned the car on and the AC was still blasting hot. I asked "How do I know you didnt break it on purpose, or accidentally mess it up when doing everything else?" I have fixed my own car plenty of times, Ive replaced the throttle position center, rack and pinion, and the clockspring and never had an issue. suddenly my car needs a 1100 problem fixed when I said at the very beginning that I just needed some Freon?? He never gave me a good respond, just said 'I get your concern' Safe to say I won't be coming back for a while. read more

I can't tell you what a relief it is as a woman to be able to go get services done on my car and not be worried about being hassled, taken advantage of, or made to feel like I need urgent unnecessary work done on my car. I got an oil change done on my car today, and I have never been more satisfied with services received than I have today. I was in-and-out within a 1/2 an hour. The mechanic was straight to the point did my oil change and sent me on my way. All the other mechanics wished me a good day as I was leaving. Which I felt was very kind. I Want to give a big shout out to the guys at express lube I took my 01 Yukon To have my water pump replace. These guys did an awesome job. A couple of days later I thought it was leaking. I took it in. They checked it, rechecked it and assured me that everything was OK. And that if I have any problems do not hesitate to bring it back. Amazing service. We were headed home to AZ from UT when we broke down. I called several repair places and no o e could help us for 2-5 days. I finally called express lube and was told they would fix it right away. Sure enough, we showed up and 40 min. later we were on the road. So went in for an oil change...got that done...the next day all of a sudden my alternator is messed up...my fan is out of whack and a need a new pump...everyth iij ng although fine the day the oil change was done. Do not and I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! I promise you gone end up with more than you came for! Brought my car here last yr to have a transmission flush and end up with more PROBLEMS AFTER MORE PROBLEMS. 2 days after my flush my car overheated the manager I had it towed to the shop because I didn't know what was going on. An hr goes by the manager comes and tell me me that we blew a head gasket. Not only that but that was the reason why my Ac stopped working. When MY CAR WAS JUST FINE BEFORE HAND!!! The very next day i took it to some else and they said I didn't blow my head gasket because he would be able to tell. My car was fine and that i needed some fluid. But has far as my AC it has a whole in it. That is going to cost me 1000 dollars to fix!!!! read more

Scammers. Don't ever take your car here, especially if you're a female or someone who looks like they have money. I came in well dressed and looking like a million bucks and also being a young buck these guys tried to prey on me. Quoted me if I remember correctly around $4,000 over the phone and tried to add in that my sensor needed to be replaced (which it doesn't). When asking what my sensor has to do with an oil leak , he said "oh cause it's leaking on the sensor." If my sensor wasn't functioning correctly , I would know. They tried to greatly overcharge me thinking they could get a quick come up if I just agreed over the phone. Valve cover gasket and sensor fix would only be $700-$1,000 regardless of where I take it. They quoted me pretty much 5x that amount over the phone. Then when I come in to pick up my car. Cause I told him over the phone to not touch my car and I'll just come pick it up, I get there. The guy in the lobby told me "no charge." When I first came in they said it would be $90 for an engine wash down so I was expecting to pay that, but I believe they knew they fucked up quoting me that ridiculous amount over the phone and tried to cover it up by making it free. Which I do respect and appreciate. I get my quote on paper and now all of a sudden it's back down to normal pricing. Only $700 for both fixes. Even though I would only get the valve cover gasket anyways. It was seriously funny. Never experienced a shop trying to get over on me so heavily, then cover up their tracks and make it seem like they quoted me a normal amount when over the phone they tried to basically rob me of thousands of dollars because I'm a well-dressed young kid doing big things. This is my fault though, I was looking too nice to go to a mechanic, I will remember to make myself look like a bum first before I go to any other shop two stars only cause they made my service free. I wouldn't talk down to say all of them are crooks, but definitely don't go here naively. read more

This has been a weird couple of days with this Express Lube. My car had a flat tire so I took it off and took it down to this place. This was Saturday morning. I was told and shown that my tire had a hole in it due to the weather. So, it couldn't be fixed and I would have to buy a new one. He looked around to see if they had the tire in stock. And, with the luck I have with cars, they didn't. Now, he has to order one; which is fine as I have use of another car if I need it. He then informed me that they were short handed that day and it would take some time to get the tire in from the warehouse and put it on. This was about 10 am maybe a little after. So, I should hear back from them that afternoon in order to pick up my tire. After waiting a few hours, I decided to call and see what the status was. And here was the reply... "I meant to call you earlier but we got busy. After you left, I realized that our warehouse doesn't deliver on the weekends." I was kind of upset but I am pretty easy going. He then said he would understand if I wanted to pick up my tire and take it elsewhere. *Side Note: I have dealt with Big-O tires and there was no way in hell that I would ever take my business there. They are the worst in customer service. But, that seems to be par with my experiences in dealing with car troubles. Anyhow, I asked him when I would get my tire fixed. "First thing Monday morning" And, like I said earlier... "I have access to another car if I need it". I have called once to find out what is going on with my tire. "The warehouse hasn't made the delivery yet and we'll find out and call you back" was the reply I received. About an hour later, I was told that my tire was done and ready to pick up. They were nothing but kind and respectful. I even got an extra 10% discount because of it. So, out the door my tire cost less than $100. Even though, I could have picked up my tire and taken it elsewhere; I decided to be patient and let Express Lube do the job. I'm happy that I did as they really are good guys that work there and go the extra mile to earn my business. To be fair... I have never received poor service from Express Lube and even through this experience they have been really polite and reassuring. I will continue giving them my business as I see this as a one time miscommunication. read more

I have gone to this location several time and did not have an issue but the last few time I've gone they have really lacked service. 1st incident was when my car leaked all the oil out right after they changed it. I did take it back and they corrected the issue but never offered any discount or free service instead said it's a good thing you brought it back. 2nd incident I took a different car into this location 2016 van completely under warranty accord to the manager I need 3 repairs to my vehicle that are not needed that same visit they smeared oil across my sun visor. I am getting so sick and tired of this company always doing something wrong to my car. I've been going to this place for years to get my oil change but this year, every time I have an oil change done, there is always something wrong. I had no fluid leaking and right when I got an oil change a couple of days ago, all of a sudden coolant is leaking out of my car. I am not even going to bother with Express Lube, because I already know they are going to charge me for a diagnosis, knowing they caused the problem in the first place. Then, they are going to charge an arm and a leg just to fix the stupid problem. This company is corrupt. Came back to the hotel and read up on gluing it on and someone told me about Express Lube off Nellis. I called them and asked if they would be able to help me with my mirror.
