Fabiolus Cucina is becoming my go-to spot for dinner before show at the Pantages. I was early for my reservation and they sat me down right away. They know many people come before shows and have the system down. I knew what I wanted to order and got my food within 15 mins. There's small parking lot behind the restaurant. I was able to leave my car there and walk to the show (10 min away). Instead of paying $20-25 for parking, I put that towards a nice dinner with friendly hostess/staff at a cute Italian restaurant. For the food: I usually pick something from the handmade pasta section. The truffle ravioli is tasty - handmade ravioli, cream sauce, mushrooms, truffle oil. This place was the perfect vibe for a last minute late dinner! Apple Maps said they closed at 9 but when I called they assured me they were open until 10 and gave us a 9:30pm appointment. The waiter was a wonderful man who checked in with us frequently once we were seated and he was very attentive. The staff were overall welcoming and kind and the FOOD was amazing. I didn't even take a picture it was too good to wait and we were starving by that time (forgot to make reservations on Valentine's Day of all days but we got lucky with this place!) i recommend the Lobster Ravioli, it was perfectly creamy and savory! We also ordered the Bruschetta +mozzarella and took an extra pasta home. I'm eating it today for lunch and it's as good as it was from the restaurant. This little Italian spot is great for a date night. The food was delicious!! The only reason I took off one start was because the service was pretty bad. The server (I'll call him man bun because he didn't introduce himself) was not very personable or attentive. However, the person who made up for man-bun's inadequacies was Raul. He was constantly rounding on the table, refilling our waters and bringing us bread. When the food arrived, he came by to make sure that everything was to our liking. Oh, and the bartender was very friendly as well. Man-bun really needs to take a lesson on customer service and how to earn that tip. Right after our meals were delivered, Man-Bun came over to drop off the check; he realized that he made an error and was supposed to drop it off at the table next to us. After we ate, Raul came to offer us dessert. For our appetizer, we order the Bruschetta with mozzarella. The bread was very crispy and soft at the same time; DELICIOUS!!! I ordered the lasagna which was piping hot and very cheesy, just how I like it. My girlfriend order the seafood pasta which she absolutely loved!! Her daughter ordered the Spaghetti and meatballs and she really liked it as well. Not so sure about this place. The Caesar salad was fair. Nothing special about it at all but it wasn't horrible either. We both had pasta dishes. I had the fettuccine Bolognese with shrimp and it was OK. My better half had a shrimp, spaghetti dish and oh my did it have garlic. Not just some garlic, but she was picking out the pieces of garlic and putting them on the side of the plate and by the time she was finished with the dish , her entire bowl was covered with garlic. That's just the thing... Our dishes weren't great, but they weren't horrible either. At these prices, they should be great. The setting is nice and we were there for dinner before the show at the Pantages so it's convenient. I felt the prices were exceedingly high. $35 for these pasta entrées I thought was significantly higher than what we find on the westside. I don't expect that we will be back. Too many other great Italian restaurants around that are less expensive and have better tasting food. read more

Location 3: It is in a busy commercial area in Hollywood. Not sure of the parking options as we had already parked at the Palladium where we would be attending a concert after dinner. Service 4: Staff were friendly and attentive. Food 5: They have daily specials as well as an extensive menu of appetizers, pasta, pizza, risotto, and traditional Italian entrees. We ordered the Seafood Risotto, the Polo Milanese, the Squid Ink Risotto, and the Fettuccini Bolognese. All were excellent but the Polo Milanese was one of the very best that I have ever had, and I have had them all over the world! Drinks 4: They have a full bar, homemade Sangria, and a few nice specialty red wines. We had a Grey Goose Martini - very dry, a Rye Old Fashioned, and a Negroni. All were great! All in all: We stopped by this charming traditional Italian restaurant before a concert at the Palladium. It was a weekday and the place was not very crowded. We were cheerfully greeted and seated at a nice table. Service and food and drinks were all very good and thoroughly enjoyable. I love this place. The staff is friendly, the pasta is handmade, it is relaxed, and the food is quite good. It is walking distance to the Pantages. I have been twice and the first time just zipped in and out for salads before a show, the next time I was with a group of seven after Mama Mia and it was great! Although service was a bit shaky, they were sweet, and the food was tasty and the Barolo delicious. It feels very comfortable, not stuffy, a good place for a group of good friends with comforting food and pretty good pricing for the area. We tried FabioLus Cucina for the first time, before going to a show on 8/10/22 at the Pantages. Great location (walking distance to the theater) and free PARKING in the back! Pay no mind to the small exterior, because the interior is lovely and spacious. You're technically outdoors on a huge patio (which bodes well for my pandemic paranoia), but you feel like you're indoors. It wasn't hot at all, and the many strings of lights turned on during our 2.5-hour meal, which created a really charming AMBIENCE! Our reservation was for 5 pm, which is also when they opened, and they were super welcoming. The entire STAFF was super friendly! Special shoutout to AURORA, the darling server from Sicily. She was knowledgeable about the menu offerings, and attentive, but not overbearing. Since we were there so early, we were the only 3 people in the restaurant for a brief period of time. Everyone who worked there stopped by our table to say hi, bring bread, clear plates, or whatever it was, but we felt very special and taken care of by the entire staff! My dirty Tito's martini was spot on and the freshly baked bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was super yummy! The FOOD did not disappoint either. My friend and I split the truffle ravioli, which was truffle-icious, and we split the chicken with lemon and capers, which was my favorite and deliciously tender. The side potatoes and veggies were cooked to perfection. Our other friend said she really enjoyed her spaghetti and (all beef) meatballs. We skipped dessert, but the offerings were tempting. If you're looking for a comfortable, casual, charming ambiance that doesn't break the bank, then I highly recommend the FabioLus experience... Especially if you're going to a show at the PANTAGES! Oh yea, AND you get a 10% discount if you $how your theater ticket$. I was really craving pasta recently and came across this place on Yelp so decided to try it out. Had no issues getting a table for two and we ordered relatively quickly. The table next to us arrived and ordered at the same time and they got their food almost 10 minutes before us so that was kind of frustrating. My stepdaughter and I came here before a show at the Pantages and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We started with parmesan garlic bread and bruschetta which was SO GOOD!! We wished there was more. I got the Angel hair pesto pasta with chicken and she got fettuccine Alfredo with sausage. I wanted another plate! I had tickets to see a show at the Pantages and saw that they offer a deal with Fabiolus Cucina! We were able to park at the restaurant for free, have a fantastic meal with a 10% discount, and walk over to our show. I love a restaurant that offers a ton of well thought out vegan options! These entrees were clearly not just thrown together to offer a sad and hungry vegan a barely passable meal, the vegan food was fantastic. I have always been a huge fan of penne vodka (back before I was vegan) and was ecstatic to see they offered that dish! I ordered a glass of their Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and the Vegan Vodka Penne. The wine was nice, next time I'd look for a bolder flavor. We were brought bread, oil, and vinegar which was divine. The bread is clearly made in-house, super fluffy and light. The Vodka Penne was delicious! Bold flavor, beautiful presentation, and a total delight to dip the homemade bread into YUM. My husband ordered the regular chicken fettuccine Alfredo and loved it as well. I made us a reservation here before our musical at Pantages (note that the take your credit card and will charge you $25 per person for no shows or cancellations)-- the restaurant was not very busy at 5pm so we probably would have been ok without a reservation. Service was friendly and helpful making reservations. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I splurged and went for the truffle ravioli because I can't resist truffle and it was scrumptious! Licked the dish clean. The mixed vegetables were a nice surprise (usually restaurants just offer unseasoned steamed veggies but these were tasty and nicely cooked). Two of us went here for dinner prior to a show at the Pantages Theater on a Wednesday night. We each had a cocktail, Manhattan and their signiture Jalapeno Martini. Excellent drinks but beware the Jalapeno Martini has a real hot kick. We shared the Mussel Appitizer that was delicious, Endivie and Spinach Salad that was good but needed just a little more dressing. We then shared the Mushroom Fettacini and it was excellent. With fresh table break and a half liter of their house red wine we were very satisfied. Our waiter Noah, did a very nice job making sure we were quickly served and satisfied with our meals. There should have either been about 8 more staff members or about 2/3 less seats. The food was insanely expensive. We were greeted pretty quickly and shown to our seats then we were given water and this delicious bread and I think tapenade? My friend and I were ready to order within a few minutes but couldn't seem to flag down or waitress... in a mostly empty restaurant. It took about 15 minutes for her to come to our table to take our orders. Anyways, I ended up ordering the penne vodka sauce and my friend ordered the penne arabiatta. Both items showed up pretty quickly within 10 minutes! My friend enjoyed her pasta and mine was good as well, but not the best I've had. The pasta had a nice bite to it and their was an abundance of sauce that I wish I had more bread to dip into the sauce with. After we finished, it took a bit to get our checks but we both finished our plates and we left satisfied for the evening. We like this restaurant for pre dinner shows at the Pantages. Due to the pandemic we had not dined there for like 18 months. The facility was remodeled since our last visit, much brighter and upscale. The place was buzzing with diners when we arrived for our 6:15 res. before seeing Hamilton. Parking in back was full so don't count on getting a spot there. The service excellent and so was the food. We decided on sharing vs an entree/appetizer each. We started with the avocado salad, which is more than adequate for two. It was absolutely delicious. Lots of avocados. Mozzarella cheese balls, arugula and a wonderful olive oil based dressing. Next we had a medium pepperoni pizza, great thin crust along with one order of lasagna. Just the right combo. The pizza was just like our favorite sidewalk cafe in Rome serves. Lasagna was wonderful. Hat's off to Fabiolous. We'll be back next show. Word to the wise, the Pantages requires proof of vaccination card or a recent negative Covid test. Be prepared for that. Walked in with my girlfriend with my pug puppy after reading that the restaurant was dog friendly on Yelp. (It was in fact the first dog friendly filtered search result on Yelp...). Replacement was better than the first, but still a disappointment, overall. Tried a Malbec and a Pinot Noir with entree's and both were very good. Food was good, but really not great. I should have gone with a different protein addition, and the server tried to steer me in that direction, but I opted for the squid and wouldn't do that again! It doesn't keep you guessing! We were craving mushroom so we went for the Truffle mushroom bruschetta and mushroom ravioli. The ravioli is very creamy and filling. If you're hungry I would recommend trying it out. The bruschetta was okay and definitely and A for aesthetics. Unfortunately it was a little too bland with the mushrooms plain vs having a bit of a more tasteful sautéed flavor. This place is pricey so be warned it does cost a bit more for the food palette you get in exchange. That is why I rated it 4 stars. Fabiolus is a cozy spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Sunset, despite its central location near the Hollywood touristy attractions. My friend had the housemade sangria, which I had a sip of, and it was so smooth, fruity, and delicious! I tried the aperol spritz which was strong but tasty as well! Dinner before "The Blue Man Group" was pretty good. Not far from the Pantages theater, this seemed to be a pretty good choice to ensure we were not late for our show, and it was. We ordered the Penne Arabbiata (I asked for extra spicy) and the Truffle Raviolis. Both were good dishes, with good flavor. We also had a glass of the Sangria, which was very tasty. For desert we ordered both the lemon and peach tarts, both were good. Dislikes: The bread that is served with the olive spread would have been better if it was toasted sourdough. Service: Our server Gabriel was great!! He was very attentive and personable. Prices: A little high for the portion size. Ambiance: We chose to sit inside, however both indoor and outdoor seating had a nicely decorated and comfortable ambiance. Parking: First two hours are free. Came to Fabiolus for dinner prior to seeing a show at the Pantages. Food came out fast, and was hot! We ordered the Penne Arribiata and the Penne alla Vodka. Both were quite tasty and flavorful. We also had a side of sausage and peppers to start. I am a bit of a critic when it comes to italian food, but I was quite pleased. My only complaint is that the chicken in the Penne Vodka was actually a bit dry, tough, and overcooked. The dish would have been better without the chicken since it was a bit tough to chew. The flavor for the arribiatta was great. Parking is very convenient right in the back of the lot. We were able to leave our car there for the show and then just make the short .3 mile walk to and from the theatre. The walk was felt safe and was well lit. The prices seemed a bit high for what it is, but with the location and cost of living that liberal California forces upon all of us, I get it. I ordered the seafood risotto. I was gone for like 10 minutes and when I got back and it still wasn't ready. The overall wait was like 15 minutes. The risotto was decent and I especially liked how well the calamari was cooked. Still underwhelming, it didn't make my list of top 5 seafood risottos. They had a very short menu. We chose this restaurant in the Hollywood area because of its convenient location between both of my relatives who live in Los Angeles and its solid 4-star Yelp rating. Its night time ambiance is casual and sort of romantic as you can dine out under a tent with strands of incandescent light bulbs. A big plus to this restaurant is its free with validation reserved parking lot as the restaurant is located on busy Sunset Boulevard near the Arc Light Cinema. The parking lot is located behind the restaurant on Leland Way with an attendant who will provide you with a ticket that you'll need to validate at the restaurant. There are at least 10 reserved stalls for Fabiolus Cucina which are clearly marked. Being that we entered the restaurant from the parking lot (rear of the restaurant), we walked through the dining room in search of the maître d'hôtel since we arrived early to enjoy Happy Hour before our dinner reservation. We were promptly seated along with menus and informed that they were featuring a 50% discount on select bottles of wines. It was a cool evening (62 degrees F) and they had several heaters placed throughout the dining room. Our server Louis came by to take our beverage and dinner orders. He seemed pleasant and friendly but for some odd reason, after he took our orders, another server took charge for our table for the rest of the evening.
