The main dish here is Catfish Fingers and they were pretty good.

Ok here we go, I have not eaten here in probably 15 years. And I have to say it is a LOT better than I remember. The Burnt Ends are amazing, then I had the Mac n Cheese and with Jalapeños and Corn was outstanding. The Corn Muffins are just flat out delicious ! I don't know why it took me so long to eat here but I tell ya what I will Make sure this is in my rotation so I don't miss out again. If you haven't been you need to go ! Don't miss a good thing.

It's Memorial Day and I had to have some BBQ. I've been to Dave's quite a few times over the years and It is consistently good. I usually go for the St. Louis style ribs and that's what I got today. It's moderately priced. I want to give a shout out to our server, Raymond. He took great care of us. They have some descent weekday specials. The interior has a dining area and a full bar area separately. There are some TV's around and a fireplace for the winter months. They do have some outdoor seating in a patio area. They have plenty of free parking. You can purchase bottles of their homemade sauces and whole pies. I think they have another location in Smyrna. By the way-- The cornbread muffins are the BOMB.

We had a great visit to Famous Dave's BBQ! Our server, Eleisha, was fantastic and made some great menu recommendations. We started with the fried pickles and they had a great crunch and were the perfect start to our meal. We then tried the sampler platter so we could try several different things. We enjoyed all of the meats! The brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and chicken were all great. Our favorite sides were the slaw and fries. There were three different sauces to choose from on the table, and the sweet and zesty was by far my favorite. With such great food and friendly service we look forward to coming back soon.

This has become my go-to spot. It never fails. The staff are great, the food always hits the spot. Great and relaxed vibe to just get away and eat some finger-licking-good bbq.

Tap in below: Whether dining in, or taking out, this location has a dine in section and a take out section. Both sections were extremely nice and inviting: took mine to go but I can promise you it'd have been even more than a 5/5 if I sat down and had a meal there. Highly recommend!!! -Ribs and brisket platter: 5/5 Trying brisket in 4 states and 5 different styles I'll say the cuts I was given were well paired with sauce which compliments the brisket, but it honestly doesn't need it.... Collagen that melts as you bite into the fatty part and melt in your mouth tenderness that's just a smokers craft. Ribs were fall off the bone, flavorful, and just well done. BBQ sauce was well paired with it but would like to try some different sauces to complement it differently than the brisket. The potato salad was astounding, but the Cole slaw.... Probably tied for best slaw I had on the trip. Overall, THIS is the place you go for BBQ in TN. There's a ton of reviews for other places, but this is where the locals go. Donelson has a gem with Edley's here. I would venture to say that this location is a perfect spot for trying Tennessee style bbq first hand and loving every bit of it! Restaurant seemed to be lively and just a place you'd love to step into for a drink and a good meal!

And the mac and cheese is unusually intriguing with subtleties of maybe peppers and even something slightly sweet in the crispy breadcrumb topping. It's pleasantly complex. I think the best dish at the Donelson Edley's is the brisket. Some of those cuts have the perfect balance of a salty, fatty edge and hearty, smoky meat. The worst dish is certainly the ribs. They're extremely dry, even with barbecue sauce, and don't have a good flavor at all. But Edley's is a good addition to what was once a pretty desolate food scene in Donelson. Thank heavens they moved in!

That is surprisingly hard to find consistently in most of the barbecue places in Nashville. The pork here has great flavor good, but sometimes is a little dry. I love the beans and the potato salad here. The coleslaw isn't creamy, so it's not for me. I do wish they had bigger cups. They are hilariously small for a drink to go with flavor-filled BBQ. This place is not fancy. That's what is great about it. You get a free view of the marina, and after you eat be sure to visit J. Percy Priest Dam. They champion great music here, and I've enjoyed the solo players on the patio during warm days. I look forward to coming at night when the joint is jumping. We weighed our options and ended up visiting Nadeen's Hermitage Haven based off of the positive reviews as well as wanting to visit somewhere local. Nadeen's is charming inside and out. The parking lot is small but there were plenty of spots open on a mid-week morning. We were greeted warmly and sat at a booth. Nadeen's feels familiar and comfortable. Our waiter was fantastic the entire time, he was gracious and hardworking. My husband ordered the Southwest Scramble and I had the Farmer's Skillet. Both were delicious but we both agreed that mine was the better of the two. The biscuit was baked perfectly and was so fluffy. The gravy and potatoes were delicious, too. Our coffee cups were never empty, either. Not to mention, the coffee here is really good! We will definitely be back!

It was a big meal, so much I couldn't finish everything. My wife had the southwest scramble which was something right up her alley.

I was in Hermitage, Tennessee and when I saw the familiar name, I figured that this would be dinner. The building itself doesn't scream opulence, but hey, it's barbecue and there is nothing fancy about barbecue, but barbecue is a culinary wonder. The staff here were friendly and the food was good. I went with the pork and was overall pleased with my meal. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Whitt's Barbecue. Go check it out for yourself.

I rolled up to the drive-through window to be greeted by a less enthusiastic teenager who seemed to bothered I was even there. I told her today's my first time here what do you recommend... And she just looked at me and said what kind of meat do you want? She wasn't able to answer any of my questions, and she was not friendly at all. While I was ordering, she was staring off, not writing anything down and then when she told the cook, what my order was, she had to come back twice to ask me what I wanted again. I told her there was only two of us eating and I wanted to try a little bit of everything and she just stared at me so I just ordered a 2 pound meal that came with sides. I asked her if I could get half turkey half pork and she said yes. I ordered beans and potato salad and got a loaf of cornbread. I received the food pretty quickly, so that's a plus! About an hour later, I begin to prep the food for dinner and noticed it was all pork. So I called and said hey can I come back down and exchange this? I was supposed to have half pork half turkey.. The manager on the phone told me to bring the food and the receipt and I could get it fixed, so I drove down there and she tells me that it's going to be an up charge for the difference. It's going to be a little more than what I paid. Mind you I don't even have shoes on, I was in the middle of preparing dinner and jumped in the car to come down there to fix their mistake... So I told her I don't have my wallet. I don't even have shoes on, and the girl never told me there was a higher fee for that... Not to mention I just drove back down here because of your mistake. I was pretty appalled that they took the meat, typically if food has been taken all the other places I've been to have said just keep it. We can't take it back... But we'll get you a new one. Not saying I wanted free food or ask anything extra... But it did make me wonder what they were doing with the pork that had been to my house, opened repackaged and taken down there. So then I asked for more barbecue sauce because with 2 pounds of meat, they only gave me two little shot glass containers of barbecue sauce. She then asked me if I wanted to buy a jar of barbecue sauce, to which I replied, no I'd like to have more barbecue sauce for the 2 pounds of meat that I bought from you. Anyway, long story short, the turkey ended up being dry, the pork was good and the rest was just OK. I spent $73, so needless to say I was pretty annoyed that night.
