We came here because it was off the main strip and felt more like a place that 'locals' would go instead of what is going on in the madness that is Sedona. Had the slice specials and they were decent nothing to write home about, was happy that you could switch out the soda for a beer discount. So this is a small place to grab a quick bite in Sedona. They have pizza, wings and subs. I stopped by here and got a couple slices and a drink. I got a Hawaiian slice and a combo slice. Unfortunately, both weren't very good and didn't taste fresh at all. Maybe that's what I get for getting single slices. Perhaps getting a pizza to order would be much better. There's lots of seating outside and a few tables inside. The service is fast, but the staff certainly isn't very welcoming at all. We ate here twice in one day. The first visit was for lunch where we shared a Greek with greens salad and each had a slice of pizza. The salad was great with feta and olives and romaine lettuce (no iceberg, thankfully). I had the white pizza which was tasty but a little oily so I had to blot the top considerably. They have a nice selection of craft beer and we each selected some local brews and enjoyed our food and beer outside. There's nice tables and picnic tables outside. It is right along a highway so not super quiet but there's some nice views of red rocks. Super fast service! We returned for dinner after waiting half an hour past our reservation at another restaurant (Creekside) and getting so disgusted with the place that we walked out. We were delighted to find Famous hardly had a line at had plenty of open tables. Having already had pizza, I opted for the meatball sub but would not recommend this at all. Meat seemed overly processed (as in not homemade) and the bread was generic. Enjoyed another craft beer though, which was great and they even offered a sample without me asking. So, in all, I'd recommend this place for pizza, craft beer and quick service, but not subs. The atmosphere is nice for a casual lunch but I was disappointed to end up here for dinner when I was looking forward to something more high end, but that is no fault of this place. Definitely good for a casual pizza and beer lunch though. read more

The counter staff that was working last Sunday 5/18 deserve a raise! The place got packed and they were hustling and bustling. The inside is reminiscent of a college eatery- old, dark, and food on tables/floor. However- there's plenty of seating outside and the food is worth going to. The pizza was so delicious!! Sauce and cheese were tasty and crust was cooked just right. The cheese bread was really good too! Drinks were completely flat at the pop machine- so beware. The wife and I were craving some pizza while visiting Sedona and this spot was down the street from us and so we decided to check them out. We had a good lunch here and would have to rate them a 8 out of 10. They have some very tasty pizza here! I Loved how generous they were with the toppings and cheese. Also worth noting is the menu with a good variety of items. I was a bit disappointed they did not have mojos or wedges but their fries were very good and crispy. We placed our order and and ate there and our food was out within 15 minutes so that was a plus. Overall, solid pizza. Make sure to check them if your in the area. The rating for this place seems kind of confusing to me because we thought it was really good and liked all the items that we had. We ordered cheese pizza for the kids and meat lovers, Buffalo Chicken and medium winds for the adults. Crust was a good crispy but not burnt. Meat lovers had a lot of toppings with a good ratio of cheese and sauce. Buffalo was a little light on the white sauce but it was still flavored great. Chicken was a little over cooked which took away from the overall of the pizza but otherwise was great. Wings were good sized and tasted great. I stopped in real quick for a pizza and a beer. And I was pleasantly surprised.... Small pizza joint, w a big with bite.. The ambience itself was fun. They were playing 90s rock music so it hit home for me.. because of the music and the atmosphere I didn't even realize I had finished my beer by the time my pizza was ready. The pizza was great! Nice crispy crust, and not too much cheese or BBQ sauce.. and not greasy... I was able to taste all the different components in the first bite.. for me the red onions are what seal the deal. Non existent customer service and they are absolute sharks in getting every dime out of you, so be aware ! I had called to place a phone order and when I asked about what pizza options they had they were unwilling to talk about it - have never had this level of pathetic customer service. Had ordered a Caesar salad and even the dressing was in a ready made pack. A tiny pack of ranch dressing will also cost you extra. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place ! read more

I've been coming here for over 4 years, so this experience was disappointing. Yesterday, three friends and I stopped in after the creek and spent over $70 plus a tip on pizza and wings. We had water cups, and one of my friends filled theirs with lemonade without me knowing. We were then told by the cashier to dump it out after the owner saw it on camera. She complied, but the way it was handled while we were eating felt unnecessary and left a bad impression, . But hey I hope that $2 worth of wasted lemonade is worth losing returning customers. read more

One of the residents recommended this place. He said it was his favorite and I'm so glad we asked. We got the meat lovers pizza, cheese bread, and chicken fingers. I usually feel really bloated with other pizzas because of the sauce and cheese but not with this one. The chicken fingers were surprisingly very delicious as well. The cheese bread had a nice softness to it and the ends were crispy. So so delicious. I love that the pizza was not too thin, not too thick, definitely not super greasy and that the crust was crispy as well. Did a quick stop here for a brew on a hot July afternoon in Sedona. I spotted this place on the corner while passing by. Parking is a little odd as the entrance is on the opposite side of the building. Just follow the sidewalk around to their door. The inside dining area is small. But there's also an outdoor patio area which is a lot bigger. Now I only grabbed a brew on this stop...which was good. But I did look over their menu. There were some classic options as well as some unique ones. This place also sells pizza by the slice. They also sell salads, wings, and sub style sandwiches. Combo meals were also available. The new online ordering is sketchy. If you call now - they want credit card information over the phone... Not thrilled with that- especially after having to repeat 3x to the poor kid trying to capture. Can't imagine how that works when this place is busy- as it is habitually understaffed. Been here several times. Much better than the 1st couple times eating here. Pizza is great! Tried the white spinach pizza, not to be confused with the white pizza. The toppings were bountiful, so much so I could only finish 1 slice and take the 2nd home. Hubby always get boneless wings, nothing special about them as they're not hand battered, but he likes them Service is always top notch. The food is great the service is sh** - using the app to order the pizza we put in the address of our hotel then the app chose Famous Pizza in Sedona instead of Oak Creek. So when I go to pick it up there's no order then we figure it's at the wrong one. Then we find out company policy is you have to pick up the pizza where it was ordered. So our options were to spend the money again and get it 1/2 mile from the hotel or drive 45 minutes round trip to the the pizza we ordered. read more
