    Prosciutto & mozzarella sandwich
    Hamlet O.

Restaurant and deli all in one. La Pergoletta deli has some fresh and homemade foods and pasta. They had homemade pastas different flavors for sure next time I will try some of the pastas they have. It was kinda my mistake I ordered the prosciutto & Mozzetta sandwich which was very good and fresh but just plain. I asked the guy for a cold sandwich and recommended that so went ahead but for sure next time will be back to try something else with some more flavor.

Had the carbonara which was excellent crispy bacon and creamy sauce and the spaghetti and meatballs was equally amazing. Very tasty.

    prosciutto & fichi

absolutely delicious. the interior is so cute but you could sit outside as well. the sparkling water was perfect too, so crisp and refreshing. there was a long wait but it was worth it!

Italian veggie sammie custom ordered for me with capers. Vegan and absolutely delicious!!!!!

    Polpette Panini...

So, this is an update on a review I did earlier this year, on my first visit I had a 3 Star experience and typically it would have been one and done with this place so why an update? First and foremost, the Owner contacted me in concern, we exchanged views and he seemed very nice so I thought he deserved another try, also I could tell from the first time here the food had more potential, so let's see what visit two is like. Polpette Panini aka "Meatball Sandwich" ($9.95) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-pergoletta-deli-los-angeles-3?select=lE5p5Y2Rtyek97s72wo0tQ Italian Meatballs in Tomato Basil Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese and Oregano. Let's start off with how good this bread is, nice crunch to the outside and softer inside, great tasting. La Pergoletta has some tasty balls!! My only issue on my first visit was Dry Balls doesn't make for a good sandwich so what do we have this time? https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-pergoletta-deli-los-angeles-3?select=goORYKd-EgLd15EvGQXrmg much better still would like to see more sauce, but this time I can see the bread is soaking up much of the sauce. Solution to that problem https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-pergoletta-deli-los-angeles-3?select=MJGHBHlWm67-jWD_j7Knxg sauce on the side and didn't even have to ask! Paolo if you're reading this... you might want to lay-down some cheese on the bread top then sauce it that way the sauce stays on the balls. Great Sandwich 5-Stars Panino & Salsiccia ($10.95) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-pergoletta-deli-los-angeles-3?select=e706rx9F52oUqgyHOQcVNw Mild Italian grilled Sausage, Onion Jam, Tomatoes, Arugula, same wonderful bread, sausage is grilled nicely, fresh tomato and Arugula https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-pergoletta-deli-los-angeles-3?select=xxFX3HrGWx_r72f55FbgYw but the star of the show is this "Onion Jam" https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-pergoletta-deli-los-angeles-3?select=yaBAcini7_qIaz_hJRV_CA you could have seriously left off the Italian Sausage and I still would have given this sandwich 5-Stars, I can't describe it other than delicious!! Paolo you could seriously bottle and sell this stuff! 5-Stars Sometimes you might not have the greatest experience on the first try, this was so worthy of the second chance and they nailed it, glad I came back and look forward to trying out the Restaurant next door!

Coffee/caramel flavored dessert not sure of the name.. AMAZING!

We have eaten from La Pergoletta for a while,& just now tried their deli. What a great experience! We easily parked in the lot, walked in, ordered and within a few minutes left with two freshly made subs ( panini). These were not hot nor pressed sandwiches. But they were truly fantastic! I got the Genovese- chicken, roasted red peppers, & they were happy to substitute basil leaves since I cant do pesto( pine nuts allergy) & my husband got the Portobello- arugula, chicken & portobello mushrooms & we both added burrata. So much flavor, it was a fancy flavorful Italian spin for a "sub" sandwich. There desserts are amazing,& got one from there cold case although not sure what its called, it had almost a caramel/coffee taste with cream on top with a consistency of a lighter pudding. More than reasonable pricing for the quality of the items, style of sandwiches and size of this lunch. Highly recommend giving this place a try. We will return!

Ordered a Filet Mignon Panino on Focaccia, every bite melted on the tongue and was perfectly seasoned

Hole in the wall Deli with fresh pasta's, sauces, sweets, ice cream, desserts, and best of all Pressed Panino's! I came here on my Lunch break for a quick meal and a way out of this harsh heat. I was seated quickly and the cashier was very generous on offering water to me then soon followed was my Steak Panino! I was happy that I got to eat without being in a rush to get back to my shift. Overall the ambient music was pleasing, gorgeous outdoor seating, delicious Panino's, and outstanding service. I'll definitely be back soon with my friends and mom

    Great sandwiches!

Stopped by my local deli/sandwich shop and was pleasantly surprised! All fresh or imported ingredients are used. The mozzarella is delicious! I sub the arugula on the prosciutto and parma with lettuce, balsamic and add a little tomato and it's literally the perfect sandwich, and with the homemade panna cotta and fruit topping to finish the meal? Forget about it! La pergoletta has made a believer out of me!

    Pricey but well worth it

I came here with a friend for coffee and a bite to eat. It was very quaint and the turkey sandwich was great. I then ventured to the deli counter to purchase some Bresaola (aged cured beef) it was $41 a lb which is quite expensive, so I asked for about 4 sheets of it. They sliced it perfectly thin and perfectly shingled. When I came home and opened the package, therein appeared the delicate slices. I oh so gently peeled them off one by one, placed them on a slice of freshly baked bread, drizzled them with extra virgin olive oil and topped them off with a squeeze of lemon. The earthy, salty moistness combined with the crunchy bread was heaven! I will return and check out the restaurant next time. Grazie!

Very nice place, we visited for the first time and recieved excellent service from Jimmy, genuine professional and attentive. There are two parts to this place, first is restaurant up 2 stairs, and second is deli with lots of room to sit and still has a sense of place. The aroma is the cheese collection and is not overwhelming, it's a nice subtle scent. We had arrived at the deli. Instrumental music perfect for seeing the tone. Place was neat and coordinated. My favorite dish was the fettuccini hai fungi, My italian husband ate my dish... I believe there is also a patio area. Theres a parking lot. Free. Also the restaurant part has certain hours they are open, best to check before but the deli is always open and you can dine there as well. Ciao! Thank you Jimmy!

    Portobello mushroom paninis
    Kevin H.

I got a portobello mushroom in the La Pergolleta Deli. It was amazing, I could customize it a little bit, with some pesto and mayo. The amount of the everything was really good. So It's definitely a five star.

Philedelphia cheesesteak smacked! Giving Boo's a run for its money. Completely different but entirely perfect. Way lighter then getting a messy Philly but all the more enjoyable. I also really like the pastrami NY style and the chicken genovese, but this new panino is absolutely FIRE! I'm going back tomorrow

    Really cool decor and pictures

Phenomenal panino! This is a great panini spot! Went there the other day and got the turkey panino and I was SUPER impressed. The turkey was perfectly sliced and the sandwich comes with arugula, tomato, and a really tasty mustard. For dessert I had the tiramisu which was also delicious. I really liked the ambiance of the place too, family run Italian deli vibes with some really cool old photos and art on the walls. Super friendly staff and tons of outdoor seating. Next time I definitely want to try the Philly cheesesteak panini. Highly recommend!

Everything has been so good and so fresh! My fav is the Ian Glass by far! It was so good and so filling. The price is pretty fair for a solid sandwich with good ingredients. Service is quick and easy, no frills. You stand in line, order, and then wait. You cannot and should not go back in line to check on the status of your order. When they're ready for you, you'll know. Out server Emily was a delight. So friendly and accommodating (and thanks again for the Baklava!) We had the lamb shwarma plate and the fried chicken plate, both with hummus. Also a side of the Za'atar/sumac fries. Fries came out first PIPING hot, crispy, seasoned perfectly nom nom. The entrees quickly followed. The lamb was so tender and juicy and bursting with flavor. And the fried chicken was AMAZING. Shwarma that is breaded with an amazing mixture and fried. Genius! The plates also came with hummus topped with whole chickpeas (YUM), dilled rice, a cabbage salad and other greens, grilled pita bread, olives and my personal favorite, pickled radishes. Many reviews describe them as beets (which I also love) but these are radishes and they pair so well with the rich meat. An umami bomb! Portions HUGE (we have a full meal waiting in the fridge) and prices very reasonable. Patio is a very fun hang with pretty lights. My only knock is on the chairs which are not exactly "comfy." But that's a trivial issue. Service was attentive and staff so friendly and helpful. I can't remember Emily's colleague's name but shout out to her and her Rasputin's shirt (yay Berkeley vibes.) She was great. We will definitely be back at Dune soon!

Could be because it was Sunday and there was a Farmers Market nearby, but still something to consider. We ordered the Lamb Plate ($26). Portion was solid and the plate is actually pretty interesting -- lots of different sides (flatbread, greens, olives, pickled turnips, etc.), so it doesn't feel boring. That said, the lamb itself was just a few small pieces and it was ground. I would've preferred more actual meat Tried the rosemary lemonade too, but didn't really taste any rosemary. Just a regular lemonade, slightly sweet and sour. Also you pay upfront right after ordering. We sat outside on a small patio facing Glendale Blvd. It's a tight space, and at one point someone from the street was walking around nearby talking to themselves, which made the experience a bit less comfortable. Staff was friendly and service was quick though, no issues there. Also, no public restroom, so keep that in mind. Overall, not bad. I was hungry, so I finished everything pretty fast, but it didn't really stand out enough for me to make a special trip again.

For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich.
