Came here with my sis and BIL for a quick dinner. This Farmer boys is conveniently located at the NE corner of Lincoln and Valley View. It has its own parking lot and customers can park in the parking lot of the shopping center next to it. I thought at first that the prices were high, but the portions are generous, especially the Farmer's Burger Combo, which included a double cheeseburger with many toppings on it, a big heaping order of fries and a regular drink that customers can fill/refill on their own at the fountain drink dispensers. Ordering at the counter was quick. Our meals were brought to our table. The food was as good as I expected, which was better than average. I experienced a couple of big negatives here: The floor was very sticky and the majority of the tables in the dining area were dirty. Whomever had "cleaned" the floor left it a sticky mess, as if a customer had spilled a sticky soft drink, and an employee had used a mop to spread it all over the dining room floor without use of water or floor cleaner solution. Every time we walked, it sounded similar to noise made when someone pulls apart velcro pieces. Farmer Boys is underrated. If you are looking for a good deal head straight to Farmer Boys. Every dollar counts these days. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. They are Known for their burgers. However they have tons of sandwiches, salads, breakfast plates, etc. Now they stepped up their game with delicious iced coffee. Right now they have the Farmstsand cafe menu starting at $9.99. I had a cobb salad with a drink. I upgraded to the iced coffee with cold foam. I also ordered a $9.99 tender box with fries and toast. It came with a drink too. I am sure you can feed a family of 4 for under $50.00 with a few bucks in the tip jar. Located at Lincoln and Valley View. They have a very b SLOW drive thru. For what I paid -- $17.05 for a pancake Platter with bacon and a drink -- the food quality and quantity were definitely sub-par. The pancakes were bland, the portion felt small for the price, and nothing on the plate really stood out. The restaurant itself also wasn't up to the standards I've experienced at other Farmer Boys. It felt a bit run-down and could use a good cleaning and some updating. Considering Farmer Boys usually delivers a better experience, this location was disappointing all around. Stopped by Farmer Boys specifically for the chili cheese fries. The place was pretty empty, yet we somehow still waited about 15 minutes, which felt longer than it should've been considering there was no crowd. The inside was uncomfortably humid, and a few tables were left uncleaned, which made the whole space feel less inviting than it should've been. Nothing terrible, but definitely noticeable when you're waiting around. As for the food, the fries themselves were solid -- crispy, well-cooked, and held up nicely under the toppings. The chili, though, was pretty average. Not bad, just nothing memorable or worth the wait. I get it the prices are their fault. $40 for two meals is expensive but again not employees fault. But the store is so dirty just what you can see from the drive thru window. And on top of the rude girl at the window this guy just on this phone. We just got home and BOTH our sandwiches were so soggy we had to throw away our food. I typically love Farmer Boys Cobb salad but the one I just got from this location, not so much. 90% of the lettuce was brown around the edges, the egg legit tasted like a rotten egg, the avocado was brown with those tough fiber things, idk wtf was wrong with the chicken but it's got problems too. Just see the pics. I wish I'd have taken more pics of it "fresh" before going in the fridge to wither away. I just couldn't bring myself to eat it (so needless to say , huge waste of money). Also got the onion rings which are as large and greasy as I remember (it's been awhile since I've visited good ol farmer boys) but the ranch wasn't even as irresistible as I remember. It had little thick clumps. That I did eat with my onion rings and tummy's still doing ok. The drive thru person was nice enough even though I didn't get an itemized receipt so idk if I was charged fairly. But lol @ the tip jar at the drive thru can we stop trying to normalize this? One of those random "We're hungry! This looks like a good place to get something to eat" moments. I've been to Farmer Boys a few times over the years, but not this one. Getting in was a little tricky as the shopping plaza it's in was busy on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm, but the restaurant itself wasn't busy at all. In fact, we were the only ones eating inside, although a few cars did go through the drive thru. There menu has a nice cross selection of sandwiches. I got the bacon turkey melt. Tasted a little like the one at Denny's, but I think this one was better. My dining partner had a double burger which is kind of regretted because it was difficult to eat, but he said it was very good. We didn't get any fries knowing that these two sandwiches were going to fill us up, and we were right. Being the only ones inside, service was great. They bring the food out to your table so don't forget to take your number. If I had one complaint, it's they serve Pepsi. Sorry, I'm a die-hard Coke fan, but that's OK. Before today, I had never met a burger I didn't like. I needed a quick bite on my way to my kids game. I ordered a cheeseburger kids meal in the drive-through. Something strange happened..... When I bit into the hamburger, it was ice cold. You know like when you experience something and you can't quite figure out what's wrong but you know it's wrong immediately? It's like the cheese was an afterthought as it was being wrapped up. The ketchup on my special order burger was also cold which would be fine...... but the meat was cold also although it appeared to have been cooked! . I really don't know how they could have missed how awful this burger was?!!?! Maybe the grill isn't working? The cheese freezer is definitely working. I didn't want to get sick so I did not eat it any further than two bites. I was in a hurry so I cannot go back. $11 for this! To top it off the fries had a distinct taste that was not normal. Old oil? Or just me? Not sure. Seriously, a burger and fries. It's hard to mess up. They did do a special upgrade to my drink and that was fantastic and perfect. Thank you! Came here on a whim as the kids wanted burgers and I didn't want the usual. Honestly this is a really great burger, especially for the price. Sure it's a bit higher than the rank and file places, but the quality blows them out of the water. The patties were quality, it comes with bacon and avocado and when you add that in it's actually much cheaper than other places offering the same. Sadly I don't see FB's around all that often, but it's a solid option when I do. The service at this location was great, they took my order, brought us our food, and circled back to make sure everything was good. I see some saying otherwise, but my experience was above expectation for a fast food place. The ambiance is country-esque in theme, and the tables were clean as were the restrooms. This is probably my first and last time trying Farmer Boys. Which sucks because my friend said it's normally really good, but this location just seemed to be different. I went through drive through and got my order taken by a girl with wavy long hair and glasses-- who sounded like she didn't want to talk to me at all. Once I got my food, I opened the bag and snacked on the fries. Fries were okay, but definitely hard and felt like they had no flavor at all. As for my burger, I was disappointed when I came home. The burger buns were flat and the bottom was split down the center. The more I opened the burger, the meat and lettuce were basically falling out. There was no structure to it at all. Burger tasted okay as well... the meat actually did taste odd and had a hint of a weird after taste that I couldn't describe. October 2023 I was in the area and wanted some diner style Onion rings, I opted for this place for lunch. there was no wait when I got there and the time the food took to come out was reasonable. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Sandwich with Onion rings and drink. The onion rings were massive by only had 4 pieces so that was a bit disappointing, the chicken sandwich was loaded with bacon, avocado. The sandwich had a honey mustard like taste so i wasn't sure if I liked the combination. Overall I would only return for the onion rings. It's been a long time since we have stepped into a Farmer Boys Restaurant. It's Fish Friday so we decided to go and try their Fish and Fries. As usual we always ordered the fried Zuchini. As you walk in you are greeted by their nice cashiers manning the registers Jerrie personally took our order and he was the same person who served the order. The Fish was fresh and doesn't have they fishy smell it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Fried Zuchini was also crispy on the outside and firm on the inside. lThe layout has changed and it is now bright and welcoming. Whereas before it felt so lonely coming before.
