The buns were flat as pancakes and cold as if they were taken directly out of the refrigerator and placed on our burgers. The onion rings were cold and looked like they hadn't been cooked at all. This was my first time ever going to a Fatburger. I had initially set my mind for Fiveguys, but I was dreading the 20 min drive (for a 3 mile distance) thanks to all the developers! Anywho, I ordered the skinny Extra Large burger and $8 dollars later, I was extremely dissapointed. All it was was a burger patty folded in half, 2 or 3 little strings of shredded letter with a half cut tomatoe slice. Came here with my family after church and we were all satisfied with our burgers, buffalo chicken salads, wings, etc. Chef, manager, or owner came to check in on us to see if the food was to our expectations. Great food and great customer service by staff. I absolutely love their food. Their burgers are huge and one burger will usually fill me up. I also love their wings. They are cooked to perfection. The skin are crunchy, meaning it's fresh. Very pleased with my bacon, chili cheeseburger and yummy strawberry shake at this location, which is super convenient to the Starlight movies walking distance away. Only negative is their flimsy chairs, many of which already have bent rear legs, as many manufacturers only rate their chairs for 200 to 250-pound eaters. Unfortunately, many are over those weight limits and thus a big time accident is only a matter of time if they keep these chairs and do not replace them. Can you say LAWSUIT when the back legs collapse and the person falls over backwards and hits their head on the floor. This happened to me at an outdoor fast food truck location where they bought used, old chairs for $5 each at a warehouse sale. The fasteners that held the legs to the base of the chair had rusted and when it collapsed on me I feel backward, crushing my head and neck against a concrete block wall, where I was trapped until a passerby rescued me, as I was unable to breath. Another minute and I would have DIED. That little adventure was very costly to the property owner who supplied the chair, and they had a massive deductible so all the money came out of their pocket to pay for my injuries and pain and suffering, as my neck was not better for many months after that incident. read more

I've wanted to try Fatburger for years but never got around to it. Was excited to finally experience what some say is the best burger in SoCal. I ordered the regular burger with cheese which ended up being $7. While it was cooked properly and tasted decent, I actually think In & Out makes a more flavorful burger and the price is less than half what Fatburger charges (portion is about the same size too). We also had to wait about 30 mins for our order (1 burger, 1 chicken burger and a small order of fries) when there weren't many customers in the place, so not sure what happened there. The young man at the counter was very nice and professional so thumbs-up for customer service. I just can't bring myself to come back for a $7 cheeseburger when I can get a better tasting one at In & Out for $2.70. read more

However, we were about to catch a movie and being short on time we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! It's Fatburger just like I remembered it...Yum, yum. The burgers were tasty and the food was out in 10 minutes. And yes, it was fairly busy at the time, about 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon so lots of people in and out shopping around the plaza. Went to this location for the first time last night and was not impressed. I haven't been to a fatburger in years and was craving those peppery delicious burgers they have and some skinny fries. We also tried the wings since this location has them. The wings are fries were not good. They had a weird smell to them as if something non edible had fallen into the fryer and melted. The fries were pale and undercooked in addition to the strange smell. The burger was ok but soooo bland. Do they not season anything here anymore? I also wanted to add avocado and mushrooms but they apparently don't have either. Last thing to mention is they now offer a cashew-based vegan milkshake which I'm curious to try but it cost twice as much as a non-dairy one. Who pays $12 for a milkshake? Came during the soft opening and the food/service was stellar. Had absolutely no complaints and could easily see myself being a regular. Came back a few months later and it's like Mary Poppins has left and the house is falling to pieces. Nobody seems to know (or care about) what they're doing. Management is apathetic, at best. My family went and ordered a few burgers , fries , onion rings, soda and a couple shakes . My daughter ordered a banana shake and I ordered the pineapple shake. My daughter let us know it was way to sweet and couldn't drink it , so the rest of us tasted to see if any of us could . But it was sooooo sweet none of us could drink it , I then let Edward know and asked if he could fix, refund or give a just a plain vanilla shake in its place since we barley touch it (only tasted) and couldn't drink it , he was rude said no and wouldn't do anything to help fix it. I went to Fatburger today and was pleased with my visit! When I heard that they now offer the Impossible Burger I had to give it a try! And I must say, there was no shortage of enjoyment throughout my meal. Zain, who helped me out at the cash register was very friendly and helpful with ordering and the wait time was only about 5 - 10 minutes before our pipping hot French fries and veggie burgers were in front of us ready to be eaten. I highly recommend giving the Impossible burger a try if you are looking for a quick and good veggie burger. It's worth mentioning that cheese is extra. Although, heads up to any vegans out there, Fatburger does not currently have any vegan cheese options and you can also opt out the mayo if you prefer. The reason for only four stars is because the patty is a tad bit dry and the burger is $9 which is a little pricey. But with tomato and the other condiments it comes with you won't be disappointed! This was my first time eating at Fatburger and after reading the initial reviews I was a bit hesitant to eat here. I'm happy to report I didn't find any of the long waiting periods or cold food other reviewers complained about. The burger and chicken sandwich we ordered wasn't something to write home about but it was really good and decently sized. The manager was very friendly and went around to different tables making sure we had everything we needed.
