I've been craving burgers for the past two days so today I gave in and ate TWO of them. No, not just one, but TWO - the second of which came from Fatburger. Now, I don't know if I can honestly say it was a burger. I was feeling guilty for eating one earlier in the day so I opted for a Boca burger with cheese and a fried egg. Um...ew. I've never had a Boca burger before (so maybe I shouldn't hold this against Fatburger, but I'm going to anyway), but when I think of a veggie burger, I think of one that has random grains and seeds in it and looks like its made of veggies. I don't expect a random patty that looks like and has the texture of meat, but isn't actually meat. So yeah...that was a no go. I will give Fatburger one thing, and that's the fact that they put fried eggs on burgers (and I love eggs!). But I was looking for Fatburger to appease a week-long burger craving, NOT a week-long egg craving, so I'll have to give it a no-go. read more

I love this place. Had the family over and no one wanted to cook so instead of listening to a bunch of women complain, I headed out to FB. My buddy is practically a stump in the place so the guys there know him and took care of us as they always do! They took care of that order like they were on Iron Chef. Ordered the double which is enough to feed a small shark and it was remarkable. Love the fact that they have the little burgers that's just enough for a pee wee sized nephew or niece, and that takes care of the kids. They fries are always perfect and I'm not much for the thick ones; I like the skinny fries (damn good use of the semi-colon in a sentence if I do say so myself! To hell with the English teachers that said I wouldn't amount to anything!). Parking and the homeless situation is horrible so make sure you're on top of it when you get there because some guys don't wait for you to get out of the car to try to mooch some spare change from you. read more

Hate to temper fate with my three star review, but I gotta tell it like it is: First off, where I work I see a mundo amount of celebs so seein' one in Fatburger doesn't really impress me. The place actually is mostly deserted looking whenever I go by it ('course, I only see it open when I'm coming from work around 5:30ish) which makes it sort of appealing since I hate crowded places. The food's decent but the guy taking your order is SO incomprehensible that when he repeated my order back to me, I could've sworn he said "egg". Now, I didn't order it with an egg so I repeated back, unsure, "Uhh..yeah. Tomato, lettuce and cheese only." He nodded and charged me an insane amount for the food. Who knew the sides cost that much? Noooo, thanks, I'll stick with In-N-Out. For the price I paid, I could've had like, three double doubles. So I wait. The atmosphere is like any other fast food joint.. a little dirty and dingy - except they had this electronic jukebox that took credit cards - no doubt overcharging *rolls eyes* It was like fifteen minutes before I got my burger. The fat fries are good, but nothing super. Eating a cheeseburger with an egg was an interesting experience - but if I ever get the opportunity again, I probably won't eat here because the sides are SO expensive. .75 cents for cheese... .60 cents for egg... *rolls eyes again* Nooo thanks. In short, be a little wary of this place if you can't really understand thick accents that well or if you don't have a lot of money on you. A little bummed. I was hungry and ordered from this establishment, using Postmates. Not sure who to blame here, but on the Postmates app if you order a chicken sandwich meal, you can add things to your sandwich, like bacon and cheese. But I decided I didn't need the entire meal, so I ordered the sandwich by itself, but when you do so you are not able to add the bacon cheese, etc. So I added in the "special notes" area to add bacon and cheese. The guy delivering informed me they didn't do it because they didn't charge me because I didn't add it, because they didn't give the option to do so. I know it sounds stupid to complain, but when your spending $15+ on a chicken sandwich that wasn't much better than a mcchicken from mcdonalds. I would prefer it the way I ordered it. I wouldn't of ordered it knowing they didn't add the cheese and bacon. Very tasty burgers Fatburger- fast service, excellent meat patties, fresh vegetables, great fries! They tasted like someone made them fresh on the grille. All of the toppings were fresh too. The French fries were very good too. They were the thin and crispy in the outside but still soft and hot on the inside. The staff was very friendly too. I've come here often because I really like the food. It's pricy for fast food but because it's good, and as someone who is allergic to gluten, beef and pork, they have great options for me. Sadly, I picked up my last order and didn't notice they'd given me the wrong order until I got home and bit into it a beef/bacon/wheat bun. I understand mistakes get made and I was disappointed that I didn't get my delicious food that I could eat, and that I threw $20 in the trash. I called to request a refund, only to be told the manager is the only person who can make the refund, and the manager isn't available. Good enough for a late night eat when you're hungry enough to eat a horse. The wait is typical Fatburger... even if there isn't a crowd, be prepared to wait at least ten minutes for your Fatburger and Fat Fries to be ready. It's a small dining room, so I do not suggest bringing large groups. Our group of three had plenty of room though. The other group there at the time were not accustomed to any kind of manners and were very rude (mostly being snotty/bratty to the staff). The Fatburger. This was consistent with what you may be used to if you've eaten a Fatburger before... so no surprises here. If this is your first time, you might want to find a nicer location, but the 'cuisine' was spot-on. I recommend a medium Fatburger with Cheddar, Egg, and 'the works' condiments for a first-timer :-) Also, be daring when you order yourself that shake: go with Maui Banana/Chocolate mix... it's delicious. Fatburger... virtually indescribable. If you've never been, you simply can't understand the magic that happens here. Some sort of mideival alchemy happens in a Fatburger, and the perfectly seasoned meat, smothered in the perfect toppings (assuming you get a classic all the way) and married to the legendary bun puts the memory of every other burger you've ever eaten out of your mind for all time. this particular one has a stamp card buy 5 get the 6th one free. for that reason I love it other fatburgers have them too but they are buy 9 get the 10th free it could be buy 8 get ninth free the point is you get more for your buck here. Fatbuger is not what it used to be. I remember going to fatburger on vermont in the 80's with my grandma and mom and chowingdown on some sriosly fat sloppy burgers as you took a bite lettuce onions and relish would fall out and then at the end you would scoop up all that slop with your fries. Well now the ordering system is different they come in ounce size burgers which I don't like. what happerned to baby fat, fat and king fat burgers? It would be like starbucks changing their venti tall system to small medium and large. anyway their burgers are neat and not sloppy now. they don't get all over and theres no slop at the end for your fries. Service was ok. Food was good. We received our food with 25 minutes. We asked the cashier if someone can clean the table we were at infact all of them needed cleaning. They must be short staff because the cashier went to clean our table and thanked her. She said nothing so we said it again louder nothing. I am NOT a fat burger fan, but I was very hungry going home from the gym and I saw the fat burger on my way home, so I changed my mind and decided to stop by and have a burger, fries, and soda. This particular location is GREAT in almost every way. Service is exceptional, very polite and friendly. Burger and fries was delicious!! Restaurant was empty around 7pm on a Saturday, but very clean. 2 reasons I am giving 3 stars is because their burger is too small and VERY expensive comparing to other burger joints. I left the restaurant on a half empty stomach. Sad, but true. Please go down on your prices....especially when your portions are NOT all that!! The place looks like S@@t but the burgers are AMAZING. One of the staff members did great. He greeted us when we walked in, took our orders while the slow couple in front took like for ever. The rest of the staff: Not so good. The cleanness of the place get's little to no love from me. Looking at the grill made me regret ordering a burger. When you get the feeling that they use the same towel for cleaning their kitchen tools as they use for cleaning the bathrooms, you'll easily be disgusted. I approached the counter to let them know that the bread seemed to be old and stale. It practically crumbled on my first bite. Instead of apologizing and offering to make things right, Luis argued with me and told me that the bread was not old and had been delivered today. Then, this guy lectured me on how to pronounce his name. So now, what was just a casual complaint on the quality of their bread turned into an argument. When I demanded that he give me a refund (which he did, he had no choice here), this guy actually told me that if I did not lower my voice he will call the outside security and have me thrown out. The skinny fries are probably my favorite french fries from anywhere in the world, and I have had fries from every single country that I have ever visited. I made the mistake of going to Fatburger and this location in particular. The burger was dry and tasteless and the oversized bun just made matters worse. The restaurant itself is rundown and dingy with a sticky floor. The most offensive, however, was the price. It cost me $13 for a burger, fries and coke. I've been frequenting Fatburger for about half a decade now. While I've had "hit or miss" experiences depending on the location I end up eating at (mostly due to non-attentive workers), my dining experience is usually a pleasant one when dining through this chain. I usually order the Veggie Burger, which for what is considered a fast food spot, rivals other Veggie Burgers I've had at fine, sit down restaurants. This burger is from the Boca brand and served on wheat bread with basic fill-ins; mayo, mustard, relish, tomatoes, and lettuce. Nothing too fancy but still tasty. Add cheese to it and you have a satisfying meal (the burger is big enough to where it can be your meal on its own, no fries needed). When feeling adventurous, I add mushrooms or grilled onions and to make it a gut busting experience for a minor, $1 cost per ingredient. For a starting price of $5.99, this Veggie Burger is quite a good deal. I will make a point of my meal here last night, the veggie option was an actual veggie blend patty oppose to the aforementioned, Boca type. I am not sure if this will remain consistent for all other Fat Burger locations or just this one. Regardless, both options are up to par with one another (Boca=soy, Veggie Patty=no soy). Still a veggie patty at the end of the day. I haven't tried their beef options here ( I know, I'm lame), but I did order the Turkey Burger once and it too, was enjoyable. Add an egg or bacon if you want to jazz things up a bit, they tend to compliment the turkey patty adequately. There you have it, a long deserved review for one of America's most loved, fast food burger chains that delivers more than it's competitors. I recommend it for anyone whose on a budget, love burgers, but also wants to remain health conscious at the end of the day. On a side note, they offer UDI gluten free bread: nice plus! read more
