    Complimentary Gazpacho
    Sean C.

Absolutely amazing last restaurant week dinner for the year. From start to finish, everything was great. Servers were attentive and friendly. Started with complimentary gazpacho which was delicious. So smooth and refreshing. My other starters were the tortilla soup and elites beef carpaccio. I'm normally not the biggest fan of tortilla soup but this one was excellent. I feel like it had more of a southwest flavor than I'm used to in these. The carpaccio was good but not my favorite, mainly because of the elotes. I would eat again just the beef and sauces. For main, I got the antelope and rabbit enchilada. I ate every bite it was so good. The antelope was cooked perfectly, was tender, and had great flavor. The enchilada was unique being rabbit but I could eat a plate of just those.

If you're looking for a great dining experience in Dallas, Fearing's is now at the top of my list! We visited it during restaurant week but now I want to go back and get some more from the main menu! I started with the shrimp aquachile and it was delicious. It had a subtle spice but also felt some Asian flavors to it. Next, I had the Denver steak. It was mouthwatering! They cooked it perfectly and there is a southwestern rub on the edges that give it a nice feel to compliment the texture of the smooth steak. Finally, I had the chocolate tart for dessert. It was so rich and decadent. I'm a chocolate lover and it was the perfect cake! The staff was amazing. Though this gives a very upscale vibe, the staff made us felt comfortable and relaxed and they were very attentive to us. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Came here for Mother's Day brunch over the weekend. I was a bit disappointed in the service originally as I had to call 6 TIMES before I got a hold of someone as my daughter has celiac (gluten allergy) and I wanted to ensure they could accommodate. When I finally got a hold of someone they confirmed they could accommodate her but wouldn't tell me what her food options would be. LUCKILY she loves filet but that was the only option for her and I imagine many kids would be disappointed by that. Also her filet ended up a bit salty so that was a bummer. For the kids the starter was a berry bowl which they forgot to bring out until we reminded them. My other daughter had chicken fingers for her main entree and for dessert my celiac daughter got a flourless chocolate cake and my other daughter had a few small different desserts. I started with the fried shrimp Cobb salad which was really good but it was totally unnecessary to fry the shrimp, it really should have been grilled or sautéed because frying it made the whole dish super heavy. I got the halibut as my main entree which was good but a bit bland. Dessert was a variety of small desserts. Overall we were underwhelmed and service was also quite slow.

Came here for Valentine's Day and it was amazing outside the forever wait time. They stayed open to accommodate the crowd. While we waited, I ordered a dirty Shirley from the bar and it truly was the best I've had. When we were finally seated, the fine dining experience began immediately upon being seated. We even received this delicious, unexpected mushroom tarte from the chef. Chefs kiss :) For starters, we began with a trio of sampler items they had on the menu (see photos). Delicious! Then, we I had a fish dish with potatoes. The whole experience was great, and there was different types of breads offered. The order of mushrooms are so worth it, super delicious. Drinks were strong, Nice experience. Hefty price tag. Nice treat for a special occasion

Located inside the Ritz-Carlton we found this restaurant during a recent stay which I am glad we did. The atmosphere was both beautiful and inviting, the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. The food really good, But the real highlight was the drinks. The cocktail menu was top-tier, featuring expertly crafted drinks that were both creative and elevated. The Dean margarita was my fave.

We visited Fearing's for restaurant week! Great choice! The food was delightful, the ambiance was relaxing! Overall a great experience! The service can use some improvement! Our waiter was a bit over extended, as he was waiting multiple tables in our area, like at minimum 6-7 and it was just a bit much for him to keep up with and we felt the lack of attention to service. Outside of that, the food was everything it needed to be; we did the 3 course meal and it was very tasty! The salmon was cooked to perfection( flakey, flavorful, and presented well)! A pretty nice start to Restaurant week!

A little early Valentines treat so we tried the set tasting sampling Food just kept on coming, we were definitely full by the time dessert came out. Our service was phenomenal from the hostess, server and food runner. Even the manager JD came to chat with us and the Senior Sou Chef came by to ask how everything was. It was a delightful experience!

A great restaurant in an equally great hotel. The service was impeccable with all staff members being friendly and helpful. The overall ambience of the restaurant was bright and open. We were seated in a booth close to the kitchen but we didn't notice the sound. We started with the Southwest Sampler. The crab cakes were fried perfectly, the short rib enchilada was a little too sauce heavy but still delicious, and the lobster tacos were delicious...but let's be honest, the tacos were one bite and not two bite. My gf had the Chilean Sea Bass and I ordered the Antelope over Mole Rojo with Rabbit Enchilada. Both the sea bass and the rice it sat on were cooked perfectly. Absolutely delicious dish that I'll order next time for myself. I'm usually disappointed with rice in Texas so this was a pleasant surprise. The antelope was amazing. Whenever I see it on a menu, I always order it and I encourage everyone to try it. The only miss on this dish was the rabbit enchilada. The meat was a little dry and there was a bit too much cheese for the size of the enchilada. Overall, this a great dining experience and I highly recommend it.

Thanksgiving 2025. For the $155 price point I had high expectations, but food was average at best. I could barely find any scallops in my appetizer, which was mostly gnocchi, and the truffles barely had any taste. Their take on a traditional Thanksgiving meal was descent, but the stuffing and mashed potato was rather dry, as was the darker turkey meat on the bottom of the white meat. Service for our large party size was generally good, but weird how they brought out each round of dishes for one row at the table and not the other row until several minutes later.

Had a wonderful dinner at Fearing for an engagement party. We had the private room and impeccable service. The servers were great with knowing to have drinks out immediately but then giving people leeway to talk. Drinks looked wonderful, but I had a Prosecco. The starters were great, someone tried and enjoyed the tortilla soup and my husband and I had the Caesar Salad. Dinner came out snd looked and tasted wonderful. I will be including multiple pictures of different dishes ordered. Had a great latte and desserts were amazing. All around a wonderful experience and a great place to host a dinner of around 20 - 30 people.

Food was excellent. Ambiance was dated. Service was very kind but very slow. For a top notch restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton, even the uniforms or the waiters staff seemed drab.

We came here for a private group dinner one Saturday night. It was packed but not ridiculously loud like some restaurants. For dinner I had the beef carpaccio and the buffalo steak. The steak was literally the best steak I've ever had. It cut like butter and just melted in your mouth. I have never had a steak like that before, even at other really nice restaurants! Service was impeccable! It's definitely a great place for a nice dinner out or a special event.

    Sam H.

Amazing customer service! Scheduled lunch here on a Saturday and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. The basil mocktail was a great start then on the beef empanadas and tortilla soup. The recommendation was to try the burger and the short ribs- which was cooked to perfection! Another must try is the banana pudding with their beignets which has been a special item for the past 17 years, so flavorful! Special shout out to Jesus for making our visit special along with a birthday treat and cookies! We will definitely be back for dinner!

Anyone bring their kids here recently? I would like to make a reservation for my husbands birthday and our two children.

I go there with my wife and toddler all the time. Other than him being fussy sometimes when we go, they are very accommodating. I would ask about kids menus when you book for reservation, can't remember if they have one or not.

The wasabi one was our favorite. You must order the crab cake! My husband got the ribeye rare and said it was the best steak he has had, and he eats a ton of steak. I got their off menu item of carne asada tacos. The meat was sooooo tender. They don't use flank steak they use a tenderloin and it just melts. The mushrooms were Devine. Glad I ordered the carne asada. The adult Mac and cheese was good but just good. Brussels sprouts were good (not the best I have had) but I think I was also just so full by this point. The asparagus is huge!!! Oh the best finisher ever- the peanut butter pie!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even a dessert girl and I couldn't stop eating it. The restaurant was practically empty, so we sat in the bar/lounge area. The host and other staff were friendly. Our waiter came off a little smug at first and barely cracked a smile. He honestly seemed a bit annoyed that he had to wait on us, which felt very unfriendly. My friend managed to get him to loosen up a bit as the night went on though, so maybe that's just his personality. To his credit, he was very informative when it came to the main course options. The lighting was dim and intimate. Ambiance was simple and modern. I ordered the sea bass and my friend ordered the beef Wellington. Honestly, after tasting my fish, he ended up enjoying my sea bass more than his own dish. The sea bass was like butter, just as the waiter described it. If fish could fall off the bone, this one would have. It came with rice, cashews, and a ginger miso sauce. The cashews added a really nice crunch and texture and the flavors worked really well together. I thoroughly enjoyed it as b the only downside was the portion size. Like a lot of nicer restaurants, you get one small piece of fish... about the size of my pinky finger. My friend's beef Wellington, on the other hand, was just okay. He didn't say it was bad, but it definitely didn't stand out, especially compared to the sea bass. We also ordered potatoes as a side and the white truffle Caesar salad. The salad was good and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering, which I appreciated. The potatoes were solid too and paired well with the meal. Dessert, unfortunately, was not it! We ordered the Wicked Sundae. Our waiter had actually recommended the banana pudding or the chocolate tart, but we decided to try something else. We probably should've taken his advice. The sundae tasted mostly like ice cream and was missing the main part of the dish -- the brownie. Nothing to run home about, and it also happened to be the most expensive dessert on the menu. Definitely not worth it.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

We'll be back Valet parking Complimentary Limited street parking on a busy road Great interior, comfy seating
