Came here to have brunch with a group and its hell out here. Not enough staff or just bad communication amongst them. I admit I came late to the group brunch, but I still had time to Make an order. After 20 minutes of our server disappearing I decided it'll be too late to eat. People at the table didn't get silverware for a long time either. I had to go to the bar to order (they refused to take the order) I sat down again for 10 minutes and after that I had to go back to the bar and they said they put in my order for a drink(they never told the server). By the time she came around it would be pointless to order because everyone is almost done with their food I'm visiting here from out of state and had to take a $30 uber just to get here from my hotel and have terrible service. Food is delicious and great music. Gave it 3 because the seating is not the best and can fill up quickly. And the table seats are isolated. So you can't socialize and really enjoy the scenery of the restaurant. I had the tacos and mac n cheese and two tequila with pineapple. Food was fresh and hot. Flavorful! I visited this place for Sunday brunch around 12:30pm for a friend's bday. There is very limited street parking with meters. There a few lots but they all cost $16-20. This place is located right across from the old Opera nightclub on Crescent Ave. It's cute inside but small. There was a patio area which is where we were sat due to the large party. Our server was nice but took forever to take our orders, bring our drinks, and bring the checks. Which may not have been a huge problem if we didn't pay $20 to park for 2 hours. Also, she told us while we were sitting and before we even got our food that another reservation was after us and we had 30 min. Which was ridiculous because we didn't even have our food yet. So we talked to the host and they gave us another hour. The food was just ok in my onion and the LAX side car was disappointing. It was not tasty and I'm a fan of side cars. The music and DJ were good and provided nice vibes the entire time. For my friend's day they brought her a free shot which was pretty cool. She had fun and enjoyed her food and mimosas. I'm glad I finally got to visits this spot because THE FOOD IS THE BEST I'VE HAD SINCE I MOVED HERE!!!! Specifically, the catfish is what I'm referring to because that's what I had that Thursday night. When I tell you this filet was the most cripsy yet succulent piece of catfish I've tasted in my WHOLE LIFE I'm not lying. I will add my rice pilaf and broccoli was cooked well also. I did sample my friends wings and they were average to me, but aesthetically appealing. If you're looking for a place to enjoy karaoke and hookah on a Thursday night I would suggest it. The music was louder than my preference, but once again the food was great. The service was acceptable for the amount of people that were there. Maybe I would have preferred them to move faster because I'm usually not out during the week at that usual time. I was very impressed with the decor of the establishment and the bathroom was impeccable. It was so clean and upscale around the entire restaurant. I sat on the extended patio and I can see that's the spot to be as the summer nights approach. Looking forward to the next visit! My partner and I went to Fin & Feathers Midtown ATL for some dinner and drinks tonight. We were the first people of the night to sit on the patio. The hookah server visited our table very quickly and was extremely kind and helpful with that side of things. However, we sat and watched as the patio filled up with other (straight) patrons. We watched as they were delivered water and had their drink orders taken. Our waiter had yet to speak to us, but numerous waiters were aware of our presence, as we watched and listened to them argue over who would take our table. We sat on the patio for about 40 minutes, having never heard from a single staff member other than the hookah server, as we watched *every single table* except ours be served. We never received water, or even an acknowledgement of our presence from anyone else. It's not lost on me that we were the only gay couple on the patio, and the only interracial couple in the entire restaurant. read more

Went with a group of seven, we ordered the dark meat chicken nuggets, catfish nuggets, fire wings, and mild wings. Both sets of wings (4 per set)were fine. they weren't greasy but neither of them were any sort of hot. Which is too bad because I ordered fire as their hottest option in the hopes of getting some spice. The dark meat nuggets were a big hit. Nice and juicy, fried correctly and we're pretty good. My friend enjoyed the shrimps and grits she ordered and her mango mimosa. I enjoyed my pineapple mimosa (they are generous on the alcohol with all their drinks). I am visiting from the DMV area and was told about this Black owned establishment and wanted to support it. Upon entering I immediately noticed the filthy bar area. There was old food and drinks on the high top bar and trash on the floor. There were a few customers at the bar and warned us they hadn't cleaned up yet. The bathroom was also filthy and disgusting. Needless to say, I won't be returning. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the bar and hookah. But we have to do better when it comes to making our establishments welcoming. read more
