    Calamari Frito Misto

My group and I were able to snag a reservation last minute on a Tuesday night which was fantastic! The ambiance was very intimate and sultry, perfect for groups or a date night. When entering, you come across a lounge bar where there is live music. The larger dining room is fairly big with gorgeous luxe booth seating and along the walls are your standard dining tables. Our group of 10 had a large table set up for us in the corner. Our server was also fantastic and very knowledgable about the menu. Can I also say everyone working here is also dressed wonderfully?! The table-side caesar salad was delicious and the bread that came with our meal was served out of a grand box which was a delightful elevated experience. The calamari frito misto was delicious - the asparagus and squid were perfectly tender. I really enjoyed the macaroni alla vodka pasta! There was a slight citrus zing to it which i loved. The dry-aged ribeye was also good, but I've had better at other spots. Overall, i'd definitely come back to get some drinks and apps in the lounge area and recommend this for a great date night or group dinner!

We ordered: 1. 44oz Bistecca Alla Fiorentina 2. Lobster Diavolo - squid ink pasta, uni butter, spicy tomato sauce 3. Chocolate Cake - hazelnut praline, Nutella, caramela 4. Lemon Meringue - kalamansi curd, graham cracker 5. Beet & Burrata - fennel pistou, blood orange, arugula, grape saba 6. Grilled Asparagus - bagna cauda, cured black pepper egg yolk, garlic bread crumbs Florentine style steak had solid beef flavor, tender, and cooked medium rare for the most part. Lobster & squid ink pasta was indulgent and cooked perfectly. Chocolate Cake was moist and decadent. Lemon meringue was textbook. I'd recommend all of these items. I found the appetizer, Beet & Burrata salad, to be the only slight disappointment. Friends were happy with the flavors but I was disappointed with the very few slices and pieces of beets and arugula. Our server, Marissa, and her fellow staff were very good; attentive to our table and friendly. Classy, comfortable ambience.

Had to wait a bit for our table even with a res and the food is pricy but boy was it one of the better steaks I've had in a restaurant.

What an absolutely decadent and memorable visit we had for a family celebration at Fioretta! To start, the cocktails, wine list and fresh foccaccia bread set the stage for the entrees to come. We also ordered a couple of tableside Cesar salads, one with anchovies. It was a treat watching the salad being mixed with the freshest ingredients, and a lot of lemon zest and parmesan cheese. For dinner, I had the Cacia e Pepe over the thick spaghetti and while it was suggested to get a side with the smaller pasta dishes, I was pretty full after the bread and salad. My husband's 7 ounce filet was a perfect medium rare and tasted exceptional with a side of sautéed mushrooms. He ordered a Pinot Noir with his filet and also the marscapone mashed potatoes. My daughter ordered the lobster Diavlo with squid ink pasta and it was the equivalent of a family-sized platter. Be forewarned, it is a lot of food and an expensive meal, but nice for a special celebration. Also, the restaurant adds gratuity for 5+ guests at tables. For dessert, the tiramisu and pistachio Gelato were a sweet ending to a lovely night. I would like to return for Happy Hour bites and live music in the bar some week night.

This weekend we held a private dining dinner for our wedding reception. I definitely recommend using Fioretta if you want to plan any sort of event. Their team was fast, efficient, and very kind. The whole process wasn't smoothly but our guests were disappointed there was no valet before opening hours. The meatballs, steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, the desserts and all their petite appetizers were amazing. Thank you to the team for such a great experience on our biggest day!

To say I was blown away by this dining experience is an understatement. I came here for dinner on a Friday night with a group of friends and it is incredible. From the moment we walked in, you are greeted by a welcoming and hospitable team. The restaurant is quite large, and we were seated in one of the smaller rooms off from the side of the bar. It was perfect for us so we could chat and catch up with one another. We started the evening with cocktails and a few appetizers. The restaurant offers amazing complimentary bread service that is table side. We also ordered the meat balls that came with three total and the chopped salad. The salad was definitely my favorite starter from our menu. For main dishes, we ordered the chicken parmesean, a steak and the vodka pasta. I was completely full by the end of the evening, but of course, we still finished the meal with the chocolate cake. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking to celebrate an important milestone, have a romantic evening with a significant other, or grab dinner with a group of friends. Thank you again for this amazing experience!

Came here for another restaurant week! Loved the vibes of Fioretta. There was a jazz ensemble also playing in background. The restaurant week special had some add ons included. We started off with the wood roasted oysters and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was a little salty, but the oysters were pretty yummy and warm. For the second course, we substituted one of the courses for the 16 oz New York strip and the other is the chicken Parmesan. I was a little disappointed with the chicken parm (my fault because I thought it included pasta). We paid $40 more for the New York strip and it was perfectly charred on the outside with a nice medium rare touch inside. Also, the tiramisu was so BOMB!! I loved everything about it and I had a second stomach as soon as the dessert came. I think this place is okay to try out at least once. This restaurant is definitely for special occasions or a once a year type of meal. It's even better if you have the Chase Sapphire reserved so you can get that doing credit.

Fantastic service, great food, nice ambiance, and a tad expensive. We came to celebrate a new job and it ended up being restaurant week, so we tried the menu and ordered some additional dishes: - Meatballs - Wood Roasted Oysters - Bignè - Chicken Parmesan - 7oz Hand Cut Filet Mignon - Macaroni Alla Vodka - Charred Broccoli - Pear of Aces (drink) - Tiramisu - Strawberry Gelato No complaints, honestly my favorite was the oysters surprisingly. The pasta and steak were cooked beautifully and everything was seasoned well.

The vibe was a cross between a chic, upscale speakeasy and vintage Chicago steakhouse. Loved the intimate lighting, comfortable seating options and city feel. This is definitely a restaurant frequented by the in crowd, and I see the attraction! The cocktails were creative and tasty and the mixologist will tailor the cocktail according to your preferences, if you ask. The menu is approachable and ample for all except vegans, as there were not many non-dairy/meat-free options; however, they do offer delicious vegetables as side dishes. I loved that the menu wasn't overloaded with everything under the sun, it offered just the right amount of beef, poultry, seafood and pasta options. Our group had a set menu and everyone enjoyed all of the entrées. The feeling when you walk in is, " I want to be here and be seen here". There is private event space available which accommodates around 30 or so guests comfortably. There is street parking and valet parking available. I will be back soon!

Fioretta had been on my list for some time, and it exceeded expectations. The ambiance is modern and refined--an elevated take on the traditional steakhouse, ideal for both date nights and social gatherings. Service was outstanding; every staff member I encountered was professional, friendly, and attentive. The highlight of the evening was the tableside Caesar salad, expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The chicken Parmesan was rich and flavorful, and I was pleasantly surprised by the tuna tartare, which offered a mild, balanced heat despite being labeled spicy. I look forward to returning, especially to explore their Happy Hour offerings.

Came here for Chicago Restaurant Week with friends and had a terrible experience. We were told we couldn't take pictures with flash, our waiter Patrick was rude, and the service was bad from start to finish. The food was disappointing, and they wouldn't allow anyone at our table to order from the main menu because some of us were doing the Restaurant Week menu. Every other Restaurant Week restaurant I've been to allows this, so it felt unnecessary. I also spoke to the manager, who was robotic and more focused on explaining company policy than actually caring about the customer experience. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Between the service and how we were treated, it honestly left me feeling singled out. Save your coins. Definitely not worth it.

Our experience at Fioretta was absolutely immaculate from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The ambiance was upscale, elegant, and warm without feeling pretentious. Our waiter, Fabio, was phenomenal -- so polished and professional that I initially thought he was the manager. He was dressed impeccably in a maroon and black suit, explained the menu thoroughly, gave thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel completely taken care of throughout the evening. The food and drinks were outstanding, beautifully presented, and worth every penny. The tableside Caesar salad preparation added such a special touch, and every detail of the dining experience felt elevated and intentional. What truly made the night unforgettable was how they acknowledged our anniversary. I casually mentioned it when we arrived, and by the end of the evening they surprised us with dessert and a sparkling candle presentation that made the celebration feel extra special. This was our first upscale dining experience together, and Fioretta made it memorable in the best possible way. Exceptional service, stunning atmosphere, amazing food -- this is hospitality done right. We will absolutely be back!

When our table was ready, they took us downstairs--we didn't even know there was a downstairs section! They sat the two of us in a massive booth that could easily fit six people. It felt so romantic, private, and beautifully secluded. The food was just as amazing as the vibe. For appetizers, the garlic shrimp was phenomenal. It actually reminded us of the shrimp we had out in Lisbon, Portugal, though this version wasn't quite as garlic-heavy and had its own unique, delicious spin. For our mains, we did the Wagyu burger and the chicken tenders served over a bed of mashed potatoes, along with a side of creamed spinach. Everything was cooked to perfection. Easily a 5-star experience, we can't wait to come back!

I went back to the hostess showing the 8:15 resy I got and she said it wasn't accurate and if someone booked it and came they would refuse them (what???!! There's a cancellation fee as well). I asked about the 8:45 and her coworker said that IS available. I was confused, because a minute ago she said they were fully commited. Which I said back, she said there is actually an 8:45 (okay so you lied). I asked if we could put our name down for that and did. After that extremely strange interaction, which I was not used to after eating at many higher end restaurants we sat down at 8:45. We ended up getting a mix of small plates. The waiter was clearly trying to sell us their expensive courses for his tip though he was very sweet... which he may not have realized we had an expense budget for work and we were trying not pass that. He emphasized the small plates were small and not enough food which we fell for and got more and had way too much food and passed our expense budget due to it. The food is great, it's the service that has work to do especially for such a high price tag. Get the chicken for sure. Dumplings you can pass on. The broccolini (not pictured) is great as well. Amazing sauce. As the food is good I would not come here again due to the service as their are other restaurants that are more buttoned up than this.

The octopus was tender and flavorful; octopus cooked right (especially in smaller pieces) is hard to find so I was impressed. The escargot was nice and buttery/garlicky, and piping hot. I LOVED my Filet with the green peppercorn cream sauce! It was delicious and my husband was surprised I ate so much of it. It was cooked exactly as I asked, the meat had good flavor, and the sauce was delicious and well balanced + the right consistency. Lastly, the banana and coconut dessert was a pleasant surprise. The banana flavor was fresh (not artificial) and had the right balance of coconut. It was creamy, not too sweet, and had the right balance of textures with the outer coating and the crumble underneath - if you like banana or coconut at all I'd say it's a must order! The creme brulee was just okay. My issue was the service - the table next to ours LIT ON FIRE because a menu was over the top of a candle. After burning half the menu and the fire was getting larger, our partners ran over and put it out with their napkins. They yelled and there was NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT from the staff at all - at least 2 staff saw and one waiters eyes got big for a minute and she turned away. Not even a thank you from anyone to our partners for putting it out, and they had to ask for new napkins because theirs had black char on them. We were in the middle of enjoying our appetizers and my friend was just digging into her French onion soup from our first round and the staff kept trying to take our plates away. My friend had to tell them 3 times to please leave the soup at the table, and overall made us feel very rushed. We weren't taking a long time to eat at all so felt very weird? When the entrees were dropped on the table, my friend got a steak and they kept trying to give her a butter knife. It took multiple attempts to get the correct knife. Then once we were done eating it took a while to get our plates and old glasses cleared away. Overall service timing was off and their aggressiveness in the beginning of trying to take our plates away + the lack of response to A FIRE in the restaurant was pretty alarming. While I enjoyed the food there, the service was pretty bad and I feel unsafe with the lack of response to a fire in the restaurant so I don't think we'll return.
