I came here for my birthday dinner, just me and my mom, purely for the recommendation of tableside caesar salad. And wow, it did not disappoint. The salad was fresh, delicious, and customizable (fresh cracked pepper? less lemon? more cheese? no problem). Beyond that, we opted for pasta. Our server recommended pasta as a "side" to accompany a larger entree. Turns out, the pasta portions were just enough, though they did ere on the smaller side. I saw some of the other entrees coming out and they were impressive (table-side roast being infused with herbs and aromatics while being set on fire? funzies!). The ambiance was dark wood, sleek, and luxurious. Definitely a departure from all of the contemporary modern brass and marble of most of the West Loop. We went here with the early bird special...but we loved that it wasn't packed. Service was great! We had Hermes and he explained everything nicely and made some suggestions on what to get. The food was delicious! Favorite dishes of the night were definitely the mushroom truffle lasagna and the bigne bite. Both were AMAZING. The mushroom lasagna might be my favorite bite so far of 2023. The Bigne was a close second! The sweetness and dreamy cheese were a perfect compliment to each other. The octopus carpaccio was good. Light and bright flavors. Bread was on point! My husband kept wanting the bread service to make another appearance because he's a carb junky. Olive oil cake...ours was dry. I was expecting a bit more moistness to the cake. It was more crumbly. Food here was great! But the service up front, took me by surprise. When we first arrived we decided to take pictures as there was no one else waiting and we had been waiting for our table for 15 minutes already (Reservations were at 9:45pm, it was 10:00pm by then). One of the pictures was taken with flash as the place was dim. The bald African American gentleman up front wearing a suit on 11/09/24, as he referred the to himself as a "grown as man", proceeded to yell at us to not use flash. We completely understand but no where on the website does it state this is not allowed. Although we complied by his 'rule', it would have been appreciated if he would have addressed this in a nicer manner. On the way out, the same gentleman was yelling at an older couple being very rude. This is not a great appearance for the restaurant as he was even swearing at them. Word for word told them "I don't have to do Sh**" as the lady had asked him to speak nicely to her. Spent over $1,000 here and this is how they treat their customers? Definitely do not recommend to come here, at least not until they get rid of that man. Unfortunately, was unable to get his name and was definitely afraid to even ask for it. Other than that, our waiter Rob was GREAT! Wish all employees there worked like that. The pasta was decent. We had ordered the macaroni alla vodka and butternut squash ravioli. The flavors were underwhelming and even for side dishes, the portions were tiny. The focaccia bread was truly the only thing worth the $170 (not including tip) we spent here. It was delicious paired with a parm-olive oil dip. The live music was amazing. Now, the service was one of the worst. When I walked in, the two hostess in the front, on April 18, was giving the most gruesome look. They looked at us up and down the moment we walked in. We were wearing casual clothes but we just wanted a cheap meal to eat and they opened late. It took nearly 20 minutes until the waiters came. All the servers did was take our orders and give us the bill. The people who cleaned our dishes and truly served us was the only reason we had a good experience. Where do I begin . Had a table for two last night with one of my girlfriends. Upon arrival, general manager greeted us and we were walked to our table in one of the main dinning room. As we walked to our table, we noticed there seems to be three main sections to the restaurant: a bar section with available- chairs directly at the bar, high top chairs and regular tables ( both style) which is where the performers ( singer + someone playing am instrument ) are. We were seated in what seemed to be a versatile dinning area but could also turn into a private room - with navy blue velvet and closing french doors. Kevin M was our server and truly made our experience outstanding by ensuring we were taken catered to at all times. Ask for him ! For our drinks we each two glasses of the rosé and Pinot Noir. You have the option to order all your food at once and they will course it out throughout the night, but if you're just as indecisive as the rest of us, we ordered as the night went on. For our appetizers we had the Cannoli* and the Burrata & Cherry Tomatoes. Both dishes had super fresh ingredients and left you wanting for more. *it is served per piece. For our entree we settled for the 34oz Tomahawk Steak with sides of Parmesan Truffle Fries and Roasted Mushrooms. The steak was as juicy as I like to be and the sides did a great job bringing all the flavors together. Because we like to overindulge, we had to get the my favorite desert : Tiramisu. I have yet to see another restaurant serve such a generous portion and still hit all the right notes. Lastly for my girlies and anyone looking to take pictures while there, the hallway to the bathroom has maybe four full size lit up mirrors ( very flattering by the way) and you can see yourself from all angles. We came here on a Sunday to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We ordered the dry-aged ribeye, octopus carpaccio, the pork shank, and whipped potatoes. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, has a char, with just the right amount of fat, we didn't even need a sauce with it. The shank with polenta was full of flavor and fall off the bone. **Update to original review** Ok, so this revised review is about a month late, but I wanted to make sure I took the time to write a proper write-up, as it so properly deserves. The GM Travis reached out to me a few days after my initial review apologizing for the poor experience and inviting me and a guest back, on the house, for a second shot at "the real Fioretta experience." Totally had no expectations of getting a response back when I wrote my initial review, but the fact that management not only reads the reviews, but takes action to rectify any and all issues is a testament of the value they place in customer feedback. Let me start off by saying that our waiter was absolutely amazing. Aramis was warm, funny, well-versed on the menu, and extremely attentive throughout our meal. I call this out because Aramis didn't know we were guests of Travis' until we asked for the check, so having that unbiased service deserves recognition. Wanting to try some new menu items the second time around, but also knowing what we loved from the first time around, Aramis guided us through the menu, made recommendations, and the entire experience was remarkable. Standouts both times - the seafood tower. If I could afford to order towers of this as my dinner entree, I totally would. The price point is probably one of the best in the city (and we've gotten them from plenty of places), and the seafood is so fresh and to die for. My personal fave is the king crab dipped in butter, chef's kiss. Steak was on point, and added bonus for Aramis even squeezing out the roasted garlic pieces for us. Icing on the cake was when Aramis brought us out our dessert and there were sparklers on it, it just made the night feel extra special. We weren't even celebrating anything, but it was a really nice touch. All in all, our most recent visit won us over, and we truly got the real Fioretta experience. My friends and I came for dinner and upon walking in I was greeted by the hostess who let me know one of my friends was waiting at the bar so I joined her as we waited on our 3rd. For $20.72 after tax I would say on the pricey side but didn't really show it in its kick if you know what I mean so that was a disappointment. When our friend arrived we closed our tab at the bar and was seated in the main dining area. It was really nice in there - they had comfy benches and seats that were on the luxurious side. The lighting was just right and all the food coming out especially the Tommy Hawk being set on fire smelled amazing! We all ordered a Caesar salad that is served table side which was an awesome touch and man was it delicious! I honestly got full off of it haha that was $16. One friend ordered meatballs $22 as her dish because she also was full from the salad and she said they were great. She described them as moist. The other got the king crab pasta $68 in which see had to ask for added pepper and she mentioned not being the biggest fan of a "too lemoney" pasta and said it was a bit tangy to her taste. It was described as a lemon garlic butter pasta though. I ordered the Octopus Carpaccio $22 because I saw so many reviews on it. It was veryyy interesting!!! It's octupus thinly sliced on the bottom and garnished with crispy shallot, taggiasca olive aioli, & lemon. It was good and I am on a high protein, low carb diet so this was perfect for that. I question how you're going to give two people three shrimp - unless you want to start a fight - but the sauce was lemony and zesty, the shrimp perfectly cooked. We had the same steak we had before - the bone-in ribeye - and it was amazing. Cooked perfectly, a great piece of meat. However, we did the sides different. We got the mashed potatoes, which was a winner, and the mushroom lasgana. If you like mushrooms in any way, this is a must have. Delicate, yet the flavor is amazing. We keep saying that this is our second favorite steak in the city, but we have to question that now. When it is so good you can't say no. read more

Celebrated matching into residency at Fioretta. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, it's dark and mysterious with live music in the front bar area. The restaurant is split up into separate areas and we were placed in a room behind the bar area where we couldn't hear the live music at all, major bummer. I would have preferred to be seated on the left side of the bar, in a larger more opulent room. The hostess was very friendly and kind, she asked us if we were celebrating anything and we shared that we were (although I had written out the reason for our celebration previously on the reservation). The drinks were good but nothing to write home about. I loved the bread service with olives and olive oil. The Caesar salad was very flavorful and rich, highly recommend. Our steak was decent, the garlic served on the side helped to elevate the flavor. The vodka pasta was good but not quite worth the price. Our server was very nice but went into LONG detailed descriptions of the menu and food where I ended up just nodding my head for 5 min even though we had already decided on what we wanted to eat by that point. I feel like overall, the food was good but not worth the four dollar sign price tag associated. I don't really think I would come back for dinner anytime soon, but I would consider sitting in the bar area for a drink and to listen to some live music. read more

Second time and another not good experience with our server. First a friend ordered a mocktail and while explaining the menu the server asked if my friend isn't drinking because she's pregnant or she doesn't drink. We were shocked. The intent was to ask that to tell her she can't have shellfish but still you cannot ask that and you cannot tell people what they can and can't have. You cannot just ask a complete stranger if they're pregnant it's so inappropriate. If we share our allergies and dietary restrictions that should be enough. Second, paid my portion of the bill with cash and she decided to just keep the change (tipping herself?) and provided no receipt. It was such a hassle getting a receipt that showed what I paid. I honestly was disappointed in the food especially at the price point. My 16oz Delmonico ribeye was not well seasoned, I got a side of chimichurri but it still didn't really help, they did cook it to a perfect medium temp though. Then the Brussels sprouts weren't good either. I think they were sautéed but they had nuts, raisins, and other stuff in it. The calamari didn't taste fresh, the breading tells me that it's likely frozen. The table side Caesar salad was really good, the croutons were perfect. My cocktails were good too. While our server was very nice, there were times where he lacked attention to our table because he was eager to chat up to his other table of women lol. For example, he forgot to bring me an additional glass of wine and when I reminded him, he returned with the wrong type of wine. While it was a little disappointing, it didn't negatively affect our evening and we ended up laughing it off. Food was amazing and the presentation wow'd us. I was super excited to try this new spot in West Loop and they did not disappoint! We started with the Octopus Carpaccio which is definitely a can't miss. The table side Caesar salad is a fun way to get the meal started as well! We initially came in wanting to try all the pastas but were quickly swayed to trying one of the steaks, the Kansas Strip. A little bland on its own but the salt mixture that is served with it takes it up a notch and really makes it amazing, it was also cooked perfectly which we greatly appreciated. We stuck with the Macaroni alla Vodka and the macaroni noodles held onto the sauce in such a way that it was like little explosions of vodka sauce in your mouth with every bite. I know that sounds cliche but I'm dead serious, don't skip it!! Finished out the meal with some Olive Oil Cake which was a good combination of moist & dense.
