If you're coming here with a local or heard about this place, there may be a high odds of you hearing about their stuffed dates. This is definitely something I suggest also as it is something that is pretty unique that I never come across at other restaurants. There is a great variety of different types of tapas. They separate the menu to hot/chilled tapas, seafood and meat. Other than the dates, the empanada and the scallop escargot is really good too. We sat at the bar so the service is pretty fast. We ordered our drinks and food through the bartender so it was pretty easy. We came here within the last 1-2 hours of them closing so it wasn't as busy and it was pretty chill. There wasn't that many people so it wasn't too crazy. The only thing is that we couldn't eat in the restaurant area as they closed it off to only the bar area which isn't bad. The manchego apple salad was interesting- we've never had a salad like this but it was incredible- the crunchy, sweet, and tart apple paired excellently with the manchego. We ordered mostly off the happy hour menu except the steak and papas. Food overall was pretty good! Steak and papas 8/10: for only $15 I think it's a super fair price plus it was tasty. It came w mash potato. I would say it was a bit on the saltier side but I still enjoyed it. Probably my fave of the night. Calamari 8/10: I also liked this dish a lot! It was crispy outside and chewy inside. The sauce it came with was not my fave but it may just be preference since I prefer marinara over creamy sauces. Meatballs 7/10. I hadn't been back to Firefly in several years. I fact, the last time, the restaurant was on Paradise. This location is on Hughs Center Drive off Flamingo. Easy to get to and ample parking available. There are two rooms - a large bar area and a larger dining room. They also have a good sized patio area. We opted for the dining room. We wanted the chicken and mushroom paella ($36) and knew it would take about 40 minutes to make so we got the order in as soon as we sat down.We started with the baked goat cheese ($12) and the shrimp tempura ($14) as shared appetizers. The baked goat cheese was especially good. The paella portion is HUGE. More than enough for the four of us to share (and still couldn't finish). Quite tasty. A Terrific Find Just Off The Strip! Four of us gave Firefly a try and were absolutely blown away. The food is just amazing! They advertise as "small bites", but we each found one item to be enough. We loved the skewers, the ahi tuna, and the ceviche. But the most amazing (and filling!) dish was the Manchego Mac and Cheese. Wow! The cocktails are interesting and delicious. As many have mentioned, the prices are a huge relief from the craziness of the strip. The service was first-rate. The restaurant is spacious, yet cozy, and just a joy to be in. If we lived in LV, we'd dine here weekly! A side benefit is that the restaurant is a pleasant 15-minute walk away from the Sphere. Firefly is our absolute go-to anytime we're in Las Vegas! read more

One of the most beautiful restaurants I've been in, elegant and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. We tried several tapas for the table: mac and cheese was delicious, avocado toasties were filling and flavorful, scallop escargot was cooked perfectly and stuffed peppers were a great twist. We didn't care for the baked goat cheese, just tasted like cheese warmed up in jarred pasta sauce and the fries were just normal fries, nothing special like all the other options. I've been to their old location a couple of times. My recent visit was at their new location. It is so much bigger. I made a same day reservation for a Monday night for 7:30pm. Unfortunately the service was poor and inattentive. The bus boy treated us better than the actual waitstaff. They gave us complimentary bread and garlic butter. The bread was left out too long as it had gotten stale. Between the 3 of us in our group we ordered 8 tapas and 3 drinks which was more than enough to share. The red wine sangria was really good and they also offer it in white and sparkling. We ordered the following: Steak y papas 4/5 Artichoke toasts 4/5 Golden beet salad 4/5 Stuffed dates 4/5 Steamed mussels 4/5 Pan seared scallops 4/5 Chorizo clams 4/5 Patatas Bravas 2/5 For the steak they asked how we wanted the steak cooked. We asked for medium rare and it was on the more rare side. I'm disappointed in the bravas. It was more roasted than fried crispy. Maybe that's how this restaurant does it. We did ask for another round of complimentary bread and it was much better this time, perfect for dipping into the mussel and clam sauces. We took a friend from out of town to Firefly on Flamingo last evening. As in the past Firefly was hoping and lively. Our service was very good (waiter and waitstaff). We began with drinks. I was disappointed that they had no dark beer either on tap or in a bottle. However, the margaritas were very good. We ordered six tapas (five different ones) for the three of us. Unfortunately most were not as good as they had been in the past. The stuffed dates, which are normally outstanding, were somewhat over cooked. The scallops 'escargot' were pretty strange. The garlic butter over powered the scallops. The baked goat cheese was served in a lot of tomato sauce which did nothing to enhance the otherwise very nice goat cheese. The baby back ribs were good - tender and tasty. But the real winner was the shrimp tempura. These large succulent shrimp were perfectly cooked in a light tempura batter. Overall the ambiance of Firefly was incredible the whole vibe was just to die for and towards the end of our dinner they lower lights and it's so romantic. You can have any kind of meal here all of the food is delicious. They recommend roughly 2-3 plates per person and you can share or not. I personally have celiac an autoimmune condition so I stick with three gluten free plates; the chicken skewers, petite filet, and the spicy beef salad. All of these were incredible!
