Didn't appear to be very good service, 4 people in the waiting space and one guy in the car bay talking on the phone that could help. After 25 minutes standing around, and no acknowledgement that help was on the way, I gave up. Bought 4 firestone destination tires and service care package last year. Tires are very noisy after less than 5,000 miles, maybe not the tire, but I can't get help from this location to tell. read more

I am so thrilled at the service I received today at this location! I came in, no appointment, it was a Wednesday so it was slower traffic, but needed my tires changed (I had a couple of nails in them). There was a confusion between who I called in the morning and when I was talking to the team member working (Anjanette, who I loved!!!), but Anjanette didn't even look phased at the confusion and told me she'd take care of me. She got me a great rate, got my car out in 45 minutes (I was on my 1 hour lunch break), and was so nice and kind talking to me while I was waiting! This tire store was FANTASTIC!! Matt P was the BEST!! My tire had a screw in it and I live in L.A. so I needed it repaired or changed before I could drive home. Went to the other Firestone on Placentia by Del Taco and the guy was so rude. Walked in to this place Matt P helped me right away and looked at my tire. It was 5:00 on Sunday and they close at 6 he told me the issues and said I'll work on your car myself and do it right now. He was so helpful and polite and totally put me at ease. Fixed my tire by 5:30 and I was safely on the road again. WAS SO HAPPY with the service and Matt!! read more

I love taking my car to Firestone. I've had several satisfactory visits to this place. What I love most about Firestone Brea is that I'm never pressured to fix anything that doesn't need to be fixed right away. They do, however, kindly advise that certain services are due in the near future. Once you drop off your car, they will call within an hour to give you a run-down of what work needs to be done and how much it will cost. I find this process extremely helpful and efficient. Service is always friendly, and this place usually doesn't get too crazy busy. I will definitely a long-time customer here, and I would recommend this place to friends and family without any hesitation. Thank you, Firestone! ps. It's easy to make an appt for service. I like that they call to give you the final cost and let you decide what work you want done. Our cars have always been done on time. What I really like is they have never treated me like a dumb girl here. I can't tell you how many service stations I've never gone back to because of the way I was treated. My daughter(as college student) recently had a flat tire and while she was at work I ran down put the donut on and took her car in for a tire. They did not have the tire in stock thus needed to order it and I was told it would be there first thing in AM(this was not an issue). Employee said If she could have the car there at 9AM the tire would already mounted and ready to install and would take about 15-20 minutes. My daughter showed up at 9AM sharp and was not finished until 11:15AM. I received a text from her saying they told her it was almost done...that was 11:AM. I immediately called and questioned as to why it would take over 2 hours to install one tire in which was to be mounted and ready to install by 9am?? The individual I spoke to couldn't answer it...and just said he was sorry for the delay. This is not good customer service at all and there is no good reason it should've take that long. The worst part is if I would have taken the one who had taken it back, I promise you they wouldn't have pushed me aside as they did a young girl for that long. It that was paid for the night before, due to be mounted and ready by 9AM(They open at 7am)...very sad customer service!! Since, I've decided to replace the other 3 tires with new ones and unfortunately I will not have her take it there for the business. read more

It was a 5 star spot for sure. I dont know what guy it was that worked on my truck but the knucklehead had me replace 300$ of parts and labor of things that were absolutely invalid. One of the service reps Matt Paulson is absolutely outstanding to deal with. He always makes sure I have peace of mind and utmost customer service. So far I have only had two car inspections done there and both times they were fast and efficient. NO complaints, not as friendly as some of the other ones I have been to but who cares im not there to make friends with them. I brought my car in for a synthetic oil change, all went well for that. I'd also been planning to change out all four of my tires, so although I generally hate sales pitches especially after I've already made it clear that I'd be doing some research first, the offer to change my tires was to be expected. In fact, I might have ultimately chosen to get my tires done here too, except this place seems like it would have no qualms over taking advantage of naive customers. When I brought my car in, my check engine light was on. I'd noticed that it came on the day before and knew that a loose or cracked gas cap was a common reason. I checked, and yep - my boyfriend had been the one to fill up my car at the gas station earlier (which he rarely does) and when he put the gas cap back on, it was obviously not sitting in the right groove and he hadn't tightened it to the one click. I told the service person all that and they ran the codes during the oil change. Then I get a call about the codes showing a problem with the emissions, would I like for them to "take care of it"? I asked what problem is it specifically showing (aka what codes)? Well, we don't know, but we could run a full diagnostic on it and fix it for you. I declined. When I got the invoice later, the two codes listed for a large emissions leak were EXACTLY what you would expect given that the gas cap on my car had been loose. If I'd accepted their offer to run a full diagnostic, it would have been $99. So ok, I might look like a young girl who's clueless about cars, but you know, when I specifically tell you that the gas cap had been loose and I'm expecting the check engine codes to come up related to that, but you STILL try to sell me on diagnosing and fixing a problem that you darn well should know probably doesn't exist -- that's where you lose me. A honest person would have said that yes, it most likely was the loose gas cap, but they've reset the code and if it comes up again, I should then get a full diagnostic on the emissions system. I mean, the person wasn't super pushy about it after I told them no, or else this would be a one star review, but let's say I really AM clueless about cars...what, would they have "taken care of it" for me by just charging $99 to inform me that hey, my gas cap was loose but it's correctly put on now? C'mon now, at the end of the day you want to feel like you're taking your car to an honest place. read more

They don't even deserve a star worst customer service especially from Anjanette Laurent can't believe she's a manager. She takes 15 mins to come inside the shop and take my order cause she's too busy outside flirting with the technicians so unprofessional! Then she tells me it will be 5 hours till my alignment is finished and on top of that she wants to charge me for balance and rotation when they are Firestone tires! Worst customer service I asked for my keys back and left never again will I go there! She's rude and very unprofessional they should get better people working in the front and teach there managers some manners! Don't go here. read more

I've been going to the same mechanic for close to 20 years. I trust him and his prices are extremely fair. But unfortunately he doesn't deal with the battery company that I have anymore so I decided to try Firestone. Not only did they honor the battery's warranty and prorate the cost, they had it installed in 1/3 the time they estimated. At first the battery started the car fine with no problems. But after a couple days the car wouldn't start. Fortunately they are open on Sundays! I called and Ryan said to bring it in and they would look at it. I got there and they were very busy, but Ryan helped my right away. After some diagnostics, they discovered the relay for the AC was bad. They ordered the part and put it in for FREE, even though it was nothing they did wrong. Now that is great customer service and I highly recommend bringing your car to these guys. I went to go get my tires changed and they said i needed all four changed. My dad was out of the country at the time, but he came back a week after I got my new tires and told me my front two were brand new because he had changed them himself. So Firestone basically stole two new tires off the front of the car and sold me two more than I needed. They are super dishonest, I won't be back. I paid $500 more than I needed to had they left my front tires alone. read more

I needed brakes pads ASAP on a Sunday and it was the only shop open. They were pretty upfront on cost no funny business. Cost for replacing all brakes on my car was competitive to big chains and independent repair shops (probably cheaper). Only ding was it took all day from opening to closing to have it ready but it was Sunday and they looked pretty busy. Its been a month since the replacement and so far so good on my car. I recommend for brakes on small cars at least. Cant speak on other services. read more

This place is a joke. "Everything is taken care of. Bye!" Yeah, no. This is my second time coming in for the same alignment issue I had before I even brought it is. The guy who did the service on my car drove it 0.7 miles and couldn't feel that my car jarred to the right? I drove it less than .025 miles and felt the intense pull at 25 MPH. They expect me to drive this way?! The second part of the one star review is because of all the BS they tried to tack on. I just had the same things replaced BY THEM 3 months ago, yet they suggest I replace them because the manufacture said so. Scam! At least check the records before you try to BS a woman. So upon getting my car to this location, Ryan told me I had a nail stuck on the shoulder of my rear tires. It wasn't even patchable and had to be replaced. I would either ask for Greg, the service manager, or choose another store if you want to avoid needless frustration and confusion. Like many single women, I'm always concerned that I'm getting correct information so I ask a lot of questions to educate myself on the process and hopefully avoid being taken advantage of. I'm still so completely confused about the pricing and process that my head is spinning. I recently went in after discovering a flat tire on my car. I called around to check prices on tires and Firestone said they could price match another store's offer. I also looked online and found a coupon. The paperwork is nearly impossible to decipher and the service associate talked in circles despite many attempts to get clarification. It wasn't until after I had paid and the service technicians had my old tires off my cars that I discovered that the numbers just didn't add up based on the "deal" that I thought I was being given. It was only then that the customer service attendant finally said that he couldn't price match and apply the coupon but he would "work with me". I ended up paying almost $100 more than what I thought I was being quoted for four tires due to my "misunderstanding" though the customer service associate thought he was "very clear." Only two of the tires were in at the time so I opted to wait to have everything aligned when I went back today to get the other two tires put on. I got a call about an hour after dropping off my car to let me know that the tires had been installed but an alignment would need to be done. The customer service associate then began quoting price packages for the alignment. I explained that it was my understanding from my last visit (which included more than half an hour of circular explanations which didn't really explain much) that the alignment was included in the price quoted. He offered to "take care of it" due to the "misunderstanding". This was only after I told him that I was more than happy to take my car to my regular mechanic to do the alignment since this had been such a frustrating experience. The service manager, Greg, called me a few minutes later to let me know that my car was ready, including the alignment. I tried to politely express my displeasure with the other customer service associate when I picked up my car and was assured that he would take care of it. I wish I could say that I felt confident that got a good deal or that everything was done correctly but I honestly don't have a clue. My only other tire purchasing experience was with Costco and it was definitely a much easier process. Please train your service associates to clearly explain things, otherwise your customers will end up feeling taken advantage of. Had my flat occurred any day of the week other than Sunday, I probably would have just left on the first visit and gone to anther tire store. read more

Ok, I've taken my car here a few times. Price point was on point and although I usually have to wait a whole for basic oil change and presumed check all my fluids. Following my last visit. I checked my fluids and they were all low, radiator, power steering, transmission. If your just changing my oil then say that! Don't tell me you checked everything and tell me you topped off all fluids when you didn't. To many other business that change oil and presuming do a better job. I won't be back. read more

It was pretty late I was lucky to find this shop nearby that told me they would stay open and wait for me. Bailey stayed after hours to help me out with my tire and switch it out with a new one. I came in for a simple oil change and received a great service. Rhyan took great care of me and my car. He was professional, friendly, and honest. I had asked for my tires to be looked at during my oil change service. I count on professionals to tell me what is needed for my vehicle, so I often can be overwhelmed when a big list is brought back to me. Not in this service! Rhyan assured me after my appointment that my car is doing well and that my tires have a lot of life left in them. I've been here a couple times. I got their lifetime alignment so I get that every time I need an oil change. They include an inspection with their service and give you a full report which is nice. They are friendly and prices are good. I would have given 5 stars if they had gone over their inspection. Some items on the report stated that it needed immediate attention. Umm, why don't you tell me when I picked up the car then? I mean, I suppose it's better than calling me in the middle and pressuring me to pay for add-ons but if you go through the trouble of inspecting the car, why not at least tell me about the stuff that needs immediate attention so I can at least look in to it... read more

Really disappointed, I showed up with no parking on site. When a worker saw me going in circles instead of being helpful and guiding me to where I may park he stood there and laughed. I felt very dumb and embarrassed, so I left. First time going there and referred to go there since it's close to my home, and it's a shame that I had to leave the way I did. I had to roam brea looking for more auto shops to help me with my emergency. Never will I ever refer anyone to go to this location. Thanks for nothing guys. read more

My first experience was good but last time was probably the worst I ever had with any auto service. Oil change was done but my cover on the bottom was not put back which I did at home after. Tires were balanced but I checked week after which they added more weights to balance instead of taking all of the weights out first then balance which was off a bit. Alignment was done but worse than before taking it there so I had it fixed by Diamond Bar Firestone. I can keep going on more of the problem but I hope their bad day doesn't put their customer's car in worse condition or in any safety issue. read more
