Stay away from this company!!!!!!! They perform shoddy work and look for anything to upsell you on. You're better off going someplace else. If I could give them a lower rating I would. Read below for more information. To begin with, I'm not a car guy and trusted the user ratings that I found here and elsewhere to use them. Incident 1 (about a year ago) - I took my wife's car in to get new brakes installed. They upsold me on a brake system rebuild because (they claimed) the brake cams were leaking. About a week later, her brake pad came off while driving on the freeway. Apparently the mounting bolts had vibrated loose, which they claimed was due to the age of the car (I had no way of knowing this so I gave them the benefit of the doubt) Incident 2 (3 weeks ago) - I took my vehicle in to have the brakes serviced and oil changed. They mentioned that my shocks were leaking and my radiator hoses were worn out and needed replacement (I sense a running theme here) and upsold me on new shocks and hoses. All went well for a few days then my car overheated. From what I can tell, the radiator hose came off. I had it towed back and they told me it was likely an old cracked radiator that was the problem (never mind the fact that the coolant system has never given me an issue until they touched it). They replaced the radiator and I went on my way. Incident 3 (1 hour ago) - I was driving up to Palmdale for work when (surprise) my car started overheating again. I pulled off the freeway and popped open my hood and found that the radiator hose came off again, on the engine side this time. I'm currently waiting for a tow truck. I just got back from vacation the night before and I noticed my tire was low. In the morning I went to a gas station to get air, but every station I went to there was a sign that said out of order. I was late for work and so I was getting frustrated. I pulled up to Firestone and I was greeted with a smile by a very nice man. I explained that my low tire sensor was on, but not sure what tire it was and if he had time to help me. He said no problem and had me pull my car into the first bay. He checked all the tires to make sure the tires had all the same pressure. One was way over filled and 2 were prefect, and he found the one that was the problem. This place is a joke. I normally go to Firestone Yorba Linda where people are friendly and always try to help you. I found a nail on my tire and wanted to see if it could be patched or the tire must be replaced on the way to work. There were 3 people in front of me when I got there. The first customer asked something (I did not listen to the conversation) and the person at the counter said "Are you leaving your car?" The customer said "It is a 10-15 minute job and I'd like to wait" The counter said "Are you leaving your car?" "We can't do it now" The customer said "This is ridiculous" shaking his head and left. My turn came and I asked the guy "I found the nail on the tire and it is on the border of flat surface or side. It is very hard to tell. Can you come out and check? If it can be patched, then I will need a new tire" THE guy said "Will you leave your car?" I said "If I need a new tire, then I have no choice but to leave the car right? So please come out and check it out" He doesn't reply to my answer but keeps saying "Are you leaving your car?" I was getting very frustrated... "I said if I need a new tire, I have no option but to leave the car here so that you could install the new tire right?" The guy either doesn't care or has no idea what I was saying.. In addition to that, he was very obnoxious and rude to customers. My patience ran out. He kept on asking me if I was leaving my car and I guess that is all he cared... I told him to f#$% off and left. He followed me outside yelling at me. I opened my window and told him to f%$^ off again. My car was just picked up from the dealer, barely have 1000 miles on it and has 21 inch wheels. One single tire would cost me $500. It is not the money where his attitude was just insane I did not want to waste one second over there. The place was dirty, small and not feeling confident but it had "Firestone" so I believed the franchise and went in. It was my fault as I could have gone to my Maserati dealer but it was in opposite direction. I think Firestone needs to educate employees how to greet customers properly. read more

One and done. Took my Toyota RAV4 for an oil change and the young guys were busy talking and working on my car. After an hour I asked if they could finish my car. A couple of days later my car won't start due to cylinder compression issue. Another mechanic asked where I got my oil change and said it could have been the cause. read more

The quality of the service has gone down tremendously. I brought my car last Friday, day after Thanksgiving for tire realignment and tire rotation service. This was no charge because I bought a lifetime warranty a few years back and bought the tires from them last March 2023. When I checked the tires' psi, it was betweem 30-33. The recommendation was 35 psi. So now, i have to bring it back to fill up the tires with air. Such a waste of time. This is not the first time simple things are being missed. Last March 2023, after a bought a new set of tires, they threw the tire pressure caps so I have to go back again to get a new set of caps ( good thing it was given for free). Again, such a waste of time. More EV cars are coming out, more car maintenance service companies are available, Firestone is going to lose its market share fast if it doesn't get its act together. read more

First off, you claiming you don't give quotes for a basic brake pad swap for a new car is a flat out lie considering you guys did it for me 2-3 weeks ago. Next, when a customer says they might go with someone else who can give them a quote without coming in for a "brake inspection" I wouldn't immediately say "thanks" and hang up on them. Especially I wouldn't do that and then get shocked when they angrily call back to confront you about it. The fact you actually said "is that the language you're going to to use" when confronted with your insanely rude action was an interesting surprise, but hey you probably aren't used to people not tolerating it. I needed an emergency flat tire repair today and once again, Henry and Will came through for me. I waited 3 hours for the Honda Roadside Assistance to come and it was cutting it close to 6:00 pm when Firestone closes. I called about three times and spoke to Henry to give him a heads up and an update of the roadside assistance. I told him I really needed to get the tire fixed today because I had a doctor's appointment the next morning. I made it to Firestone at 5:40. I've used this location before, and had fairly good experiences until my last visit. My son's Civic had the driver window fall off the track and would not close completely. This last visit has changed my mind and I will never return to this location. We asked for the AC to get recharged and to look at the window and see if they could fix it. I was quoted ~$50 each for the two items for inspection only. No problem here. I made a 9AM appointment and dropped off the car on time. They called at 3:30PM and quoted about $870 to replace the window assembly ($465), replace the cabin air filter ($70) and recharge the AC ($335). They also offered tires, which I declined at the time. I agreed to the other services and they offered the car completed the next day at about 4PM. This window offers auto up and down with a single press. When I pointed out that this did not work like it should (clearly labelled AUTO on the window button, and worked before I brought it in), they said "oh no problem, it just needs to be programmed." THE COMPLAINT: The next day, they explain that the Window goes up and down, and that's all I paid for. In short, they did not know how to make it work properly, and told me I got what I paid for. After multiple discussions, they would never admit they did not know how to fix it and claimed it worked just fine. If they had simple offered a small credit (maybe $50) on the service and admitted they did not know how to make it work, I would have been fine. Instead they were condescending and rude, claiming it was not their problem. I asked if they could fix my window and they gave me a quote. If I had wanted it fixed improperly, I could have done it myself for about $100. I give 2 stars because the AC works great./ But horrible service from the Store Manager and sale associate will make sure I never provide them any business in the future. read more

Was here again this morning because of another nail in my tire I made an appt for 7am Wednesday morning to get 2 new tires (one had a nail, one was pretty bald). Initially was told if I was on time at 7, I would be done around 8 or 830. No problem. I woke up early, let my work know I would be coming in late, and got there at 655am. I was getting ready to just chill for an hour and a half but at 730 they were done! I was really surprised! I paid and thanked them. While I really appreciated their speediness I had mentally prepared myself to be late for work. But alas, I called my work and let them know that I would be on time thanks to the speedy tire change. So yeah, if you make an appt and are on time, your car will be done in no time! read more

2 stars for trying .. So. Experience with this Firestone as an alignment shop is not a good one. Personally I wouldn't have taken any of my cars/trucks to a firestone or alike. I like to go to smaller,private owned places. They usually know what they're talking about... also,my truck is lifted slightly ,but came here under reference . I was referred to this specific one from a 3rd party mechanic shop, who did work on my truck & is well known in the community. Very reputable shop,they did quality work on my truck,& I would definitely continue to do business with them. A+. I went in for an alignment right before they closed ,so maybe that rush of getting off had the tech miss a few things. But when my truck got off the rack,& even AFTER a test drive by him,the steering wheel was off center to the right,about 45 degrees. In the rush of things,I just wanted to get home(1hr drive) so I left & came back the next day. Easy fix. 5 minutes , Got it fixed. Only problem now is the car pulls slightly right,vibrations after 50mph(which I informed them prior to coming back the second time),& my tires run substantially more than ever before (biggest issue) So today,I took it back & was completely told the wrong information & told there's nothing they can do. The trucks specs are "maxed out" and no more adjustment can be made. I'm not one to question someone's knowledge,especially in their field of work. But I also do my research & know the general ideas of things . I was told by 1 sales tech ,that the lowest caster adjustment is the best, which is wrong. The specification from the manufacture is written on the sheet in front of us : between 2-4,not closest to 0. Written in black & white. Signed Sealed & Delivered. The next sales person told me that there is no adjustment that can be made for that ,which is also completely wrong . I was also told that my caster measurement is ok,because cross caster is ok. I understand I am limited to adjustment due to my truck being lifted ,but still ,adjustments can be made(if you're reading this ma'am,please know that!) & that cross caster & actual caster are two() different measurements (ma'am again,please note!) . So it turned into a whole " He's been here twice I don't understand what problem he's having. We aligned his truck twice ,doesn't seem like there can be any more adjustments made." thing... I just think misinformation is being spread & should be corrected. Nothing wrong with the individual's personally. But I think if we're paying for services rendered ,then we should get what was paid for ,instead of the run around. I understand the point of view of both parties,& I hope they understand ours,the customer. My intuitions were correct,and confirmed with this experience . Several months back when I was exiting Imperial my tire hit something and popped. I pulled into Firestone to replace the tire. They replaced my tire and everything seemed fine until today when I went to take the tire off to change my brakes. They striped one of the bolts that holds my tire on. The nut was stuck. It's obvious that whatever mechanic worked on my car used a socket air gun to tighten these instead of screwing them on by hand. If you go to them it would be best to watch what they are doing instead of wait in the waiting area- which is what I did since I had my daughter with me. Not happy about this at all. had a nail in my tire & had it replaced. They replaced my tire with a tire that had markings all over it and was dirty? Also, they didn't fix my tire pressure signal as it is still blinking. There is no sanitizing as the man in front of me to pay used the machine and I used it right after without the employee wiping it down or handing me a new pen. Also my car was not sanitized after they drove it. The indoor employee was extremely stressed out and made sure i was aware as he kept mentioning it. two stars for changing my tire quickly but with a messed up, dirty with markings tire & job incomplete as my tire pressure light is still on a week later. read more

I had to get my tire patched because a nail got stuck in it. I called around 1pm on Friday and they were available to take in my car as soon as I called. When I arrived, there were several other cars that looked like it was being worked on, but they attended to my needs right away and I was out the door in less than 20 minutes. There were cold water and coffee in the waiting area, and the water felt soooooooo refreshing especially because it was scorching hot outside (mf'ing 100+ degree this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Everyone here was extremely friendly and helpful. To be honest, this is the first time I had to bring my car to an auto shop (not including oil change) and I was pretty nervous, but I couldn't be any more happier with the employees here who made my life so much easier. I made a mistake and brought my car there again after the last time was bad. Last time: bought new wipers, made it one block away, tested them out and they both went flying off the car. This made me laugh. What made me mad was the manager's attitude towards it. It was as if it is no big deal and they have wiper's flying off all the time. Fast forward to yesterday. I had a flat. 3 problems: 1. They forgot to put the centercap back on. 2. They forgot to put the air cap back on. 3. It's a company car. They scammed the lease company into thinking they needed a whole new tire. They put on the paperwork that the sidewall was damaged. This is a complete lie. Went here for an alignment as I purchased a lifetime alignment years ago. Looks like management and staff are not the same from a few years ago. Alignment was completed and driven around the block by the alignment tech Randy. I get in the truck and noticed immediately that steering wheel is off to the right. I turn around and went back to Firestone. Manager Frank had his "Master Tech" (i think his name is Erik) drive the truck and was back a few minutes later and told Manager steering is straight. Manager Frank talks to me and tells me his master tech drove it and alignment tech drove it said alignment was fine. He then offered to drive it himself and drove it around the block and right back into the alignment rack. He then goes inside to tell me that I was right, it was off to the right like I have stated. I wouldn't have wasted my time coming back to have the alignment redone if it didn't need it as I saw the alignment sheet, the numbers were good but just the steering wheel is off. If it wasn't for Frank's excellent customer service, would have given 1 star due to dishonesty from their techs covering each other knowing that work was not done right. read more

I like coming here for my lifetime alignments. I've had this for about 8 years now and totally worth it. This location has the best service....although it does take a very long time even with an appt. Perhaps about 2 hrs. You can walk to the Brea mall which is only about a 10min walk....i walk slow. I learned that their tire rotations are $20. I may have to bring in my electric car for that service. Overall, great place. Much better than the location on Beach and Imperial. read more

when you leave them a negative yelp review, they reply to the review to show everyone that they are going to do something about it, but they never do! i have all email chains back and forth with Firestone Social care, and they promised since 8/1 that i would be contacted within a week to resolve the issue. my case was escalated to higher management 2 times, once on 8/3 and again on 8/8 both times promising that someone will call me within a 24-48hrs, and still have not heard from a single person. Non professional ... I came for oil change and I asked them before to check the battery because it stopped twice before. They gave me the keys but the car didnt start, I know the reason becasue they keep the door opened for long time and the battery almost dead. I asked them to come and see and fix it because I have to go home, without checking the car they said there is a provlem with the starter and need 1000$+ to fix and you cant drive it today !!! They didnt check anything and give the reason without touching the car. After that I jump the car and it work immediatly and go to Walmart to check the battery, they check it by using small device and the result as I expect, the battery dead and nead replacement. Thats it, its simple. BTW when I asked to check my car or fix it because its their reaponsibilty and I have to go home, they didnt car and leave me to fix it by my self. read more

I have read a comment here that really shock me for I been taking my car at this location and they have earned my trust. #1 if this place is busy they will tell you right away that they have a lot of customers and only way the can help you is to leave your vehicle. But if it's a punctured tire I have the experience where they will do their best to fix it but you just have to wait since they have customers waiting 1 or 2 hrs ahead of you but they will help you. So for me to read that this CREW is unprofessional really makes me question what kind of customer you are. I'm a happy customer of this location and my family has 8 cars that this crew work on year after year and it's always been good and if there's an issue they will solve it and explain to you what transpired that cause the issue again. read more

I went over to do a tire rotation on my son's car. I knew there was a chance they would have issue due to the one of the front tire being bald pretty bad but I did not have time so I took a chance with rotation for now. Noticed there was a new manager. He was very courteous and helpful. Suggested that I would get new tires and he hook me up with new Firestone tires at good price. Show up for my appt and was told that they are backed up and appt will not be honored. That I would have to wait several hours to have my car seen. Only wanted a headlight changed.
