Horrible. Came here 9:30am after making an appointment for an alignment. My appointment wasn't in their system when I arrived. I was then quoted 2-3 hours, with best estimate within 2.5 hours. I ended up calling 3 hours later and was told it would be another 30 min since one of the nuts was stuck. 60 min later, I decide to drive back to see where they're at, and I get a call asking me to pick it up as I'm on my way there. When I arrive, I check the paperwork and realize they did nothing for the car (in fact, it was worse than the initial alignment check before they did any work). They did, however, quote me some some $800 parts that would probably help. tl;dr - 4 hour wait for a 2.5 hour quoted service, with diddly squat done on my car. read more

We took our son's car into be worked on and had an appointment scheduled on a friday morning and never heard anything so my husband called the next day first thing. He was told they hadn't even looked at the car and wasn't sure if they'd have a chance. Husband asked are you going to be able to look at it as you've had it since yesterday (Friday) morning. The guy said at some point. So husband said well if you aren't able to even look it over and I don't hear from you by noon I'm coming to get the car and taking it elsewhere. Needless to say they looked at it and 750.00 later we picked it up only to find out the next day there were still issues. I honestly don't even think they diagnosed it? Plus now its at a better place but what a waist of money that was so I will never take any of my cars there again. read more

I called this location on Friday 11/8/19 to have the 90 day service done. My company has a national program with fire stone for maintenance. I was told to bring it by on Monday. I called Monday morning and the person that answered the phone Sarah said I would need to bring it by Friday because somebody called in sick today. Pretty bad customer service. I've been bringing my families vehicles to this location for over 25 years my company also has a program with them unfortunately this location has gone seriously downhill regarding customer service. I brought my car here to have the tires changed. The first problem is they put the jack under my car overlapping the bodywork, and bent the bodywork lifting the car. Later I realized they didn't balance the wheels properly causing severe vibration on the highway, so I had to have the wheel balance corrected the next week. read more

I used their online form this morning to request a 2:00pm reservation to get my oil changed and tires rotated, checking the box that said I would wait there while they did the work. Shortly after, I got an email confirming that time. I arrived at 2:00 and the fellow told me it would be 90 minutes to get it done. I asked why so long and he told me that "they had lots of 2:00pm reservations and only 2 people working". So why did they confirm my appointment just a few hours earlier, and knowing that I planned to wait for it? I told them forget it, and I left. read more

Wife made an appointment at 10:30am days in advance for her specific make and model vehicle. She shows up for appointment and they tell her they don't have correct filter for her vehicle. They pick one up from a warehouse and bring it back to use. Staff then tells her it will be only about 30 minutes. At 12:45 wife still waiting in the waiting area and gets told 20 min to go as they JUST started. What do you know, wrong filter. More waiting and confusion. 1:50 rolls around and correct filter still not there. Staff fills vehicle with new oil but keeps old filter on because they can't find a new filter anywhere. Staff did not use protective equipment inside her vehicle so oil and grime were on the steering wheel, stick shift, and carpet floor. Staff member Alexander did not charge her for anything. Alexander was very nice and accommodating but could not speak for the rest of the staff in charge of parts and labor who fell extremely short. She was late for work as a result. Mistakes happen but this should never have been an issue with an appointment where the knew the make and model of the vehicle before hand. Was hoping to make this place our "go-to" but won't be going back as a result of this experience. read more

I've shown up with 50 minutes to spare before at this business. I asked to see if they could patch a flat they told me they are closing soon and couldn't. I was very disappointed! Giving this was over 2 years ago. So today I came to them with a nail in my tire. I asked again can you do a patch job for me. He replied "No" we are busy! I was shocked and pissed at the same time. It takes less than 10 min to patch a flat. We I arrived they had 2 empty garages open with at least 3 workers not doing anything. He had the nerve to say oh I can only put air in there for you, would you like to make appointment. I replied "No" and laughed while I walked out. Up the block at at GI Service they took me no problem. Even when they had workers working on cars. It took 12 minute to fix and they took the liberty to help me. I will never ever go to Firestone or recommend them to anyone. I wish I had a option to give this place any stars read more

I called ahead and I was told I didn't need an appointment. I arrived an hour later and they told me 2 hours max. Based on relatively good Yelp reviews, I decided to wait. I returned 2 hours later and work on my car had not even begun. They told me I was next and it would be another 45 minutes. It took them another 1 hour and 55 minutes later before I was out the door. Almost 4 hours for an oil change, tire rotation and visual car inspection ... What upset me even more was how unsympathetic the salespeople (Francis & Andrew) were. Bought lifetime alignment for all my vehicles here. Thought it was a good idea and value. Reality is they are so poorly managed they are always short staffed and complaining in front of customers about how much trouble the place has and arguing amongst themselves. Understaffed, always take 2-3 hours longer than expected, never call back. Now, after several tries with them, I'll go back to Goodyear and happily give up the lifetime alignments for better service. BEWARE! Booked online an oil change and tire rotation 2 days prior to my appointment. I arrive at my appointment time 9:00am. At 11:20am I'm still waiting! Jeremy the manager at 10:10am informs me my vehicle is almost done. At 11:00am I ask Jeremy how much longer, when he tells me it's taking longer because they don't know where the cabin filter is on my 2005 Volvo,wow that's scary! At 11:20 he states its almost done. I paid for my service, which I pray they have done and hopefully did not cause any other issues with my vehicle. Jeremy was extremely condescending with his insincere apologizes. They didn't even reset the service indicator on my car. An oil change and rotation taking almost 3 hours is unacceptable, in addition to there lack of consideration regarding my time. Do NOT buy lifetime alignment. It's a total scam. Only the first time when you pay the whole sum will the service get done timely. After that, since it's $0 for follow up alignments, your priority is at the bottom, even less than $20 oil change customers. You will wait FOREVER. I had an appointment at this location for 3pm, arrived 2:50pm. It's 5pm now, 2 hours later, they didn't even start working on my car. Doesn't matter what time of the day you drop off your car, management will arrange paying customer ahead of you even if they arrive later than you. It's like paying for a buffet and have to wait hours for more dishes to be served. Quite a scam, and it's common practice through out multiple firestone locations in the area I tried. read more

I used to go there for lifetime alignment, every time I go they scratch my wheels pretty bad. I even video my all 4 wheels, just to show comparison. Still they denied it. They even broke light switch of my brand new car and they said we didn't knew anything about it. I can't replace that only part I have to change the whole unit which will cost me $300. This place is bad. I recently bought a used car and it leaked gas when I filled it. Also the brakes squeaked so I took it in to these guys for the $20 inspection (which includes brake and overall visual inspection). They asked if there was anything in particular that they should look at and I told them what was up. They told me I needed to have the rear brakes cleaned and adjusted ($30) so I said ok. They said the gas issue was a clamp that needed to be tightened, which they supposedly did. Got the car back and drove it home... The next day, they brakes seemed like they were squeaking worse than before which pissed me off. Then I went to the gas station and yep, you guessed it... it leaked exactly the same as before... not even a slight improvement! I just took it back there so we will see what happens next... read more

Like going to the bank, the post office, and the dmv, I never walked into Firestone thinking I was going to have a blast, but I did except to get what I paid for. It started like this, Me: I'd like to bring my car in for an oil and filter change. When is a good time? Him: 30 minutes. Me: So I won't have to wait, if I bring my car in in 30 min. Him: No, we can get you started on then. 30 minutes later... I get there, and I wait, and wait, and wait... 45 minutes later they roll my car in. And hour and 20 minutes later I leave. 30 minutes later, 2 blinking lights on my dashboard... One says, "tire pressure extremely low" the other says, "LR turn signal out" Well, if the mechanic hadn't stressed how their standard oil change comes with an overall check-up, including making sure my lights and tires were in working order, implying that their service was superior than their competitors because they offered this service for free, I wouldn't be so irate. Well, my tire gauge was at 20, when it should be at 32, with no apparent nails in my tire, it seems that someone just skipped a few steps and lied about doing them. So I called them. Told them my story. And they're having me come in tomorrow to "see what they can do." If you love inconvenient annoying things like root canals, then this is the tire and service center for you! read more

Got an oil change before driving cross country and they failed to put my oil cap back. I made it from Campbell to Phoenix safely. It was hard to smell the burning oil among the traffic. I finally checked under the hood and noticed oil had sprayed everywhere and the cap was missing. Thankfully nothing terrible happened but this is unacceptable. Unfortunately I recommend double checking anything these guys do. read more

I am not big on writing reviews, so it will be short and sweet. Took my van in for service, they had it for 6 days!! When they returned it, the brakes were the same, even though they had replaced the master cylinder, surfaced the rotors, bled the system, and who know what else they charged for. They gave me the keys and said "you are good to go", but as soon as I put my foot on the pedal I knew it was the same. So I left it for day 7, but they still couldn't fix it. They eventually told me to take it to the dealer, which would have been ok after the 2nd day, maybe even the 3rd, but 7 days?!?!?!? Plan on leaving your car for an extended amount of time if you take it there!! read more

About 3 weeks ago I crashed my car into a curb and needed one of my wheels to be replaced. I picked up my rim this morning and headed right on over here to get it mounted. Rob Glick, one of the associates there, was very nice to me and basically gave me the run down of what I needed. He wasn't very pushy and was very chill through the whole process. The technician that worked on my car, Todd, was very nice too. He had a great sense of humor and worked efficiently. I was in there and out in about an hour! It was my second time coming here. I called a few days before for an appointment. They took me right in. Funny thing is that when I called to make the appointment, I called the Sunnyvale store! Did not matter to George. I went in expecting to replace tires and brakes with a tune up and ended up only needing a tyranny flush, injector cleaning and a back brake adjustment. I was so impressed with this Firestone I went in with a coupon for $10 wiper blades which they incorrectly told me were OK with my car, but would need to order them. When I went in the next day to have them installed I was informed that I have been given the wrong information and the coupon wasn't valid for my car. But Roy was super nice and he said given the situation he would honor the coupon. And that's how customer service should be done. Not only that but they were polite friendly installed the wiper blades quickly and even cleaned my windshield. Thank you!! Wow. how the mighty have fallen. This place used to be good (with Ron as GM) before the fire that gutted the place. and when they were rebuilt, it was good for awhile. but I'm beginning to get a sinking feeling. It got worse this last week, when we noticed my mom-in-law's car leaking oil. When we had another family member (who works on cars professionally) looked at it, he noticed that it was leaking from the top of the oil pan. We got the pan pulled off and noticed there was no gasket. AND one of the screws was stripped and sloppily repaired. Guess where the leak was: at that screw. What does this have to do with Firestone? well 2 years ago I took the car to this Firestone and had major maintenance done. One fixes was to clean out the thick sludge left in the pan (that in itself is a long story). So they had to take the oil pan off and clean it. They didn't put the oil pan back on properly with the right pieces (no one else would have needed to take it off until now). Sigh. Its hard to find good help and a good mechanic. read more

I had 4 tires put on my car. Not even economic, they were socalled hi quality tires. Two days later I have a minor accident and hit a curb. The front tire poped. whatever shit happens. I get my car toed to firestone where I had a warranty on the tires. Well they didnt have my tire in stock and I have a very common car. They didnt bother to ask other shops around, and I went the day without a car. I call the next day, 4 hours after they open andd the car has yet to be started on. ONE tire needs to be replaced! What the hell right? After calling and complaining the guy blamed it on the absence of his manager. Qhy arent there two managers if you have to ask them if they can change a tire? Its now been over 24 hours since the store has opened and since my car has sat there with the store being open. These people try to be nice to you to cover up the fact that they are complete idiots. If u get mad at them they try to be kind but they still do dumb things so how can you now be mad?. This place gets 2 stars because I STILL have no car, I missed two classes on my first week because they are stalling, and how slow and unorganized they are. They get two starts for the road hazard warranty that fixes my tire fir free, and how nice the new guy was. Shop only had 2 cars in there. 1 tech was busy fixing up his personal scooter engine, another was actually working, and the other 2 or so chatting or hanging around. Waited 55 minutes before they started. That was after I complained to the single front desk worker. What a joke. Either hire people that care about making the company successful, or close shop. Won't support this local chain no more! Oh, on another note, bad advice given to customer after sitting in waiting room. Recommended installing mixed tires on car. Each tire manufacturer and model have different handling and grip characteristics. For safety, you don't recommend this to a customer! read more

I had a great experience chatting with Ray over the phone, and working with Anthony at the shop. I had four run-flat tires on my 2016 vehicle and had three flats in 12K miles - each time replaced by my dealer for $400 each! Never again - I am NOT a fan of run-flat tires, especially with our Bay Area pot holes. (And I refuse to pay for over-priced tire insurance!) Instead, I ordered four new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires from TireRack-com and had them delivered to this shop. They arrived within 24 hours and had all four installed/balanced for just $98. So rather than spending $1,600 on four new run-flat tires, I spent just $600 for four of these highly-rated tires. In fact, these tires are so popular, the shop could not get them through their channels quickly so I had to order them on line (but easy to do). The team at this shop was professional and friendly. My husband comes here all the time and loves this place. Now I know why. I got the opportunity to try them out earlier this week when I ran into a curb and (thought I ) messed up my alignment. Came by on my way home from work that same day without an appointment at 4pm and asked to get my alignment fixed. No problem. Well, it turned out that it wasn't the alignment and they thought I'd messed up another part on the car. They ordered the part for me right there and I made an appointment for the next day. Parts/labor were going to be about 400 bucks. Came in the next day, decided to hang out in the waiting area while they worked on my car. Just overhearing them talk to other customers who came in/on the phone, I felt pretty good about this place - they definitely aren't trying to push unnecessary repairs/expensive stuff on you here. If anything, they try to find the cheapest solution possible. Anyway, I sat waiting for my car to be done. I was engrossed in a great book and before I knew it, four hours were gone. Turns out it wasn't what they originally thought it was was NOT the problem, and what they now thought it might be they didn't have the tools to diagnose / fix. The guy felt bad about me waiting around for so long with essentially nothing getting done - so THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR ANYTHING AT ALL. That's right, my receipt says "$0.00". I would have been ok paying something for labor - but I got to walk out for free. Even got a coupon for a free oil change, so I actually made a profit! Very honest, and they are really cool about taking you out to your car and showing you what's wrong with your car and explaining it in a very simple, non-car person way.
