I had to take my car back three times in a row. Each time, they broke something new. After the fourth fuck up, I decided to give up and take it somewhere else. And when I finally asked for my keys, I saw that all the workers were just sitting and talking, all the cars lifted were being left alone, and there was an empty bay that they weren't using. Gia and the rest of the team are amazing. I've occasionally stopped by to fill my tire with air. When my low tire sign kept turning on I stopped by to have them check it. I cracked my wheel and was provided with a repair quote (that was much lower than another nearby spot). They let me know that my car is driveable and until my car is repaired that I can to stop by to fill my wheel with air when the low tire sign turns in. Each time I came in to fill my wheel with air they were nice and quick about it. They checked my tire on Monday and by Wednesday 5 pm it was fixed (because they had to order a part). Overall I recommend them and plan to use them again read more

This used to be a good company but I brought 2 cars in for servicing and they didn't do anything but rotate tires and say I needed a couple of new tires. I knew that wasn't right. My car was driving a little funny. Ended up I needed coolant, brake fluid, oil change, transmission fluid and new filters!! Do not go here unless you want to end up damaging your car. The mechanics say one thing is wrong with your car but after paying over $1000 and the car not being fixed, they come back and say it was something else and charge you for that. This has happened to me twice. The most recent store manager also mentioned he met his quota/numbers with me and it wasn't even what was truly wrong with my car. They just want the money. This time I had to take my car in 3 different times because the mechanics were incompetent and didn't know what they were doing and messed up my car so I took it back in. They said they got the wrong size part and were going to have to "file it down". Where do they do that?? Firestone!! After 3 times taking it in, they said they couldn't fix it and I left with my car making a sound that was not there when I took it there. They mentioned that their mechanics were not good at suspension work. Then why even touch my car?? I will never go back to another Firestone in my life. I don't care if I was being chased by a serial killer and needed to use their phone. They lie about everything. They will say something one day and the next it is different. I made arrangements on Monday to have 2 Michelin tires purchased and delivered for desired service. I am called at 5:15 today and told car came in with 3 flat tires and we should just replace all 4 because ODDLY ENOUGH, 4 tires had been delivered when I ordered only 2! Seems though I watched car get loaded on towtruck with both passenger side tires flat and both drivers side tires inflated, my car arrived at Firestone with 3 flat tires and they waited 6 hours to let me know! And again ODDLY ENOUGH they had all 4 MICHELIN tires available when I only ordered 2! read more

I needed help with a loose skid plate after running over a concrete bump. I called Saturday night and was told they were open on Sunday and to ask for Hollis when I arrived. I got there close to 9am and Hollis was at the front desk. I explained my problem and told him that I also wanted to check for damage, check alignment and see if they could reattach the skid plate. I waited a little while and then Ben took a look and checked for damage and alignment. No damage and alignment was good, so he used zip ties to hold the skid plate in place since all of the screws were missing. Ben told me that the skid plate probably needed to be replaced and suggested that I either to a body shop or a Honda dealership. I thanked both Hollis and Ben for their excellent help. They were friendly, polite, respectful and I was very pleased with my experience. My husband has gone to this Firestone for years and recommended it to me. It's close and easy. I would recommend this Firestone on Lovers Lane. Make sure you have an appointment because these guys are busy! Her car broke down a block from this facility two days ago and they did a great job of getting her back on the road . Service people were outstanding and I appreciate that when you are out of town . What an awful experience. I won't give any more opinions. Here are the facts. First Saturday - Called and asked if I would be able to get car inspected to fix my check engine light. They said, "Absolutely, bring it on in." I drove in and they told me nobody could see it today. I made an 8:30 appointment for the following Saturday. Second Saturday - brought my car in at 8:30 per appointment. They said the person comes in at 10 and could work on my car (not sure why I needed to bring it in an hour and a half earlier but oh well). Left my car there. Got a call at noon (2 hours after the person was suppose to come in) and was told that they were no longer coming in today and my car could be seen on Monday. There is only 1 person who can do a generic diagnostic?... I'll move on to somewhere else. read more

It's official...this is my Firestone! I've been coming to Firestone for years by new to this location. I have to shoutout to all the Yelpers who reviewed this location. Thanks to you they were my plan A instead of the 2 locations that were actually closer to me. I scheduled an appointment for new brakes using the Firestone app. I wasn't quite sure if I needed them, but they seemed to be making sounds but I knew they'd tell me. You never know what to expect from mechanics...even at Firestone, but I was so pleased that I found a great place that didn't try to take advantage of me. Joe was awesome!! After checking my brakes he discovered that I didn't need any and actually wouldn't need any for quite a while. My heart screamed road triiiip!!! He led me into the garage to see the brakes for myself and explained the what, where, and why which I greatly appreciated. When I got to the counter they basically said see ya later, no charge. Thank you, God! Usually places want to charge you even for checking. I'm so grateful. We all know unexpected car expenses are no fun. These guys totally made my day! Aside from the excellent service, I dig the location and the surrounding stores and restaurants. Makes it nice if you decide to wait for you car to be done and browse the shops on Lover's Lane. Bought 4 tires 6 days ago and now one is flat. It's 4 pm on a Friday; I called the shop and they didn't even care that I have a flat and I need to leave town on a road trip tonight. In addition, they over tightened my lug nuts so there is a 50% chance the stud may break-AAA Guy. Unfortunately, the Stud broke and firestone (Lovers Lane) said they were not responsible for the damage and could not fix the flat or the stud because it was past their flat tire fixing time. Once again it was 4 pm and they close at 7 pm. After I got it fixed by the Round Rock Firestone (BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!) They discovered an additional stud was over tightened by Lovers Lane Firestone, which also broke off. read more

I don't know where to begin to describe this nightmare. Clearly, they have had a change in technician staff because the incompetence level has skyrocketed. My husband and I have been coming here for years, even though it is out of the way from our house. When my daughter's check engine light came on one evening we immediately took the car to Firestone the next morning at 7. That was April 27th. It has been a three-week ordeal trying to get them to give us a definitive answer as to whether or not they actually know what is happening with the car. Yes I did say three weeks. They ran the codes on April 27th and told us the engine was just fine but they had to replace two coils. We agreed to this and later in the day got a phone call that there was a small leak in a coolant hose and it needed to be replaced. We agreed to that replacement as well. They called us on April 29th to say the vehicle was ready to go. We picked up the vehicle and less than 10 minutes into the drive home the car overheated. We returned it to the shop only to get a phone call later to say that we needed a water pump. The technician claimed that the water pump was leaking very badly. Clearly I would have noticed this on my garage floor. And, I would have told them that when I came in for the initial inspection. The initial inspection was for a tire pressure sensor on the rear passenger tire and the check engine light that came on the night before. Remember, the car was taken to them at 7 in the morning, the very next morning after the light came on on the previous night. Because it was leaking after they said they fixed it on the 27th, we return the car the very next day and was told that it would be ready on April 29th. We got a phone call on April 29th that the car was ready to go. We picked up the car and were very specific and asking if they had repaired the leak key issue. The service manager said "Yes". We drove the car off the lot and halfway home, which is 15 miles by the way, the car overheated AGAIN! We immediately brought it back. After much back-and-forth, with people who never actually worked on the vehicle, we found out they had put a off-market, used part on the vehicle. Obviously something was wrong with the part or the way they put the part on the car. I should have known they were up to no good when they stopped communicating with us. No notice about what was happening with the car, they would say they would call us us and they never would - we'd have to keep checking in. This type of back and forth went on for two weeks because either the manager did not have information to give because the technician didn't leave the information where he was supposed to leave it or some other reason. After bringing the car back AFTER the second time it overheated AFTER and they said it was finished, We're being told well we don't know what's wrong with it period after spending $2,000.00. This is after being told oh no this is the problem, oh no this is the problem, oh no this is the problem. By the 3rd - oh no this is the problem- I was very frustrated and wanted to speak to the manager. I was told the manager was on paternity leave period and they did not know when he was going to return period I asked for corporate contact information period I was told that they do not have access to corporate contact information or their district managers contact information. My husband and I have used this location of Firestone 4370 Lovers Lane Dallas for years. I convinced my daughter to come here for that very reason. Clearly, they have had a major shift and technicians because it literally took them three weeks to the day to figure out that they didn't know what they were doing period. They kept changing their minds about what was wrong and what needed to be replaced until the bill ballooned from $900 to $2,000! By this point I was livid and wanted an explanation, an honest explanation. Instead, I got the silent treatment and a major run around from person to person to person before I was able to actually speak to the person who worked on the vehicle. When I finally picked the car up for the last time on May 11th, when I had it towed away from this facility - I did so after the manager accused me of driving the vehicle continuously without coolant and blowing the head gasket. To be clear, the check engine light came on the night before we brought the car in at 7am the next day. However, it was not leaking or smoking. After three weeks of them trying to figure out why the overheating light kept coming on, after three weeks of them tacking on charges, after telling me the car was repaired not once but twice only to have to bring it back NOW THEIR TELLING US THAT THAT EEUDT HAVE BLOWN A HEAD GASKET. The car is more damaged now than it was when we initially brought it in here. The audacity to tell us that we were driving the vehicle with no coolant, AFTER they said it was repaired. read more

I took my daughters car in for breaks and an alignment due to hitting a pot hole. When I got the call for pricing I was told that it was not an alignment issue but additional work was needed and that would stop the small shake on the passenger side. Work was done and I went to pick it up. Driving home the car now shakes on both sides VERY BADLY! Seems like they were just trying to sell the promotions they had going on and not actually fix the issue. My daughter's car had to be taken to another Mechanic to be fixed. I brought a bmw for a battery check and picked it up two hours later with oil spilled all over the front of my car baking in the sun. My battery is located in the back. I open the truck to tools, carpet pulled up, battery, caps and so on exposed. For what should have been a quick and clean service... ended up having to be requested to be finished as well as costing me a detail. I called the manager to let him know and he told me no one should have been under the hood and they didn't do it when clearly someone was. I just hope they didn't miss with something intentionally because my car was just washed so there's no way that was there unless a bird exploded after drinking motor oil. I would not recommend going here if they can't even stand by a battery check. I will say the tech was very nice when I gave him back his tools and offered to wipe my car down. read more

If I could give this location 0 stars I would ! I went into my nearest Firestone to get my windshield wipers fixed due to the bad weather . They came apart while I was driving . As soon as I got there I explained what happened and said I needed windshield for my Mercedes . Looks like they did not have any in stock and it'll be 30-1hour to get it since they had to order it . I came into the shop at 11 almost 12 . After 2 hours of going to check if the part was already there they said no it'll be 15 more mins . Around 3pm I asked one last time and the lady said "let me go to the back and see if we have any " tell me why she came back with 1 . Meaning she made me wait 3 hours for a piece she had available. I do not recommend this place at all . Should have left with in the hour wait time but it was raining horrible and obviously it was dangerous because I could not see . read more
