I was really excited to go out for breakfast this morning, but oh my god, this place was a raging hot mess. We checked in using their website before we left the house, but still waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. I overheard one of the staff mention that they were "slammed" and only had 2 people working in the kitchen, so we didn't fuss at all about the extra wait. It is what it is. After being seated, our waitress came by after 10 minutes or so, provided us with a jug of water with some plastic cups (?) and asked "Are you guys ready to order?" Look, I know you're busy, but my god. Anyway, the food... one of us ordered the "Tri-Fecta" which had an extremely small portion of eggs. I had the "Traditional Breakfast," and my bacon and eggs were both way over cooked. The place was clearly short staffed, which I completely understand... but our waitress was visibly irritated / annoyed over something, and the rest of the staff was having a hard time keeping it together. The lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing. I also had their take on juevos rancheros which was v good. They coat the tortilla in egg instead of egg in it. It's so different and tasty. Another guest had a delicious looking salad that I will need to try next time. Weird that you have to go out of your way to pay bill. Good service read more

To Go order was completely unacceptable today. We have been here a couple times before and had no issue, today was another story! We literally had to wait another 20 mins after they told us our food would be done. When we called the girl at the front desk told me that she couldn't give me a time because she's not in the kitchen and they had a big order. After waiting another 10 mins and calling again to ask for the manager the Manager asked for the make of my car and hung up without addressing our issues and sent someone to bring our food out who didn't say anything just handed us the food. After waiting all of that time our food was completely cold and not good at all. The manager was completely unprofessional she shouldn't have this job if she can't handle a Sunday morning rush. read more

The waitlist time on the website showed up to 5 minutes and 0 people ahead of us, but turned out to be a 30 minute wait. I was asked to wait outside, but other people were able to stay inside. The food was decent and the waiter we had was attentive. What I didn't appreciate was the fact that the cashier thought we were trying to leave without paying our bill and told the two other guests she was about to seat to wait. When we did give the exact change to her, she didn't say anything to us, not even a thank you. Definitely will not be coming back here anytime soon if we're treated like this. read more

The food was amazing but the customer service was terrible. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, our server actually disappeared, and the food runner made a rude comment when we finally did receive our food. There were patrons that came in after us, that were already eating and left before we received our food. When asked to speak to the manager, a server came over and heard our concerns, and apologized. I don't think they had a manager on duty at this location, as no manager that I have ever seen at any restaurant actually waits on tables. We then were "cheered up" with a free pancake, which the table behind us also got because "they made too many in the kitchen". Do not support this business! I called to make reservations on Saturday 3/30 for 3/31 and was told they didn't take reservations but to download the app to add your party to the wait. Sunday morning I downloaded the app and noticed I was online able to make a reservation for up to 6 people. My party was for 7. I called the restaurant immediately and was told "no problem just make the reservation for 6 and then when you arrive tell the hostess you have an additional person." The app told us the wait was 1 1/2 hours long and to arrive at 11:50am. We arrived around 11:35am to check in and was told that we had to wait another 1-2 hours because the person I spoke with gave incorrect information and that If you have a party over 6 YOU CAN NOT USE THE APP. I complained to the manager and said we were celebrating my Mother's birthday and had done everything I was told to do, can you not still accommodate us since your staff provided incorrect information. The manager was dismissive and showed no emotion and told me "oh well, sorry" I was livid! We decided to take our business elsewhere. Disgusting!!! read more

This place has the best avocado toast... the avocado and egg is a perfect combo. Great million dollar bacon. The cayenne adds a good amount of flavor to the already great bacon. My family of 3 waited for a table for 50 minutes though we were quoted 30. The app they sent me a link to that showed my place in line actually showed us moving DOWN the wait list rather than UP! The restaurant was extremely noisy and crowded. It was not a comfortable wait. Once we were seated, we found the table to be dirty with dripping beads of moisture on all of the glassware. When I brought this to management's attention, I was discounted. We decided to leave and go to eat elsewhere. I can guarantee we will never set foot in this loud, obnoxious restaurant again. I have been to First Watch on many occasions in Cincinnati with much quieter and roomy spaces--not to mention more professional staff. Our waitress was extremely rude to me! Purposely served me last out of the four. Got my order wrong, i.e. small oj instead of large, cold piece of bread instead of toast. We tried to eat there this morning. After standing there for 10 minutes while tables were open and other people who came in after us were seated we asked the host if we could push two tables together. He then proceeds to tell us that is against fire code. Unfortunately he wasn't aware he was spending to a group of architects who design restaurants and are much more familiar with fire code than I am sure he was. We go there often, but doubt we will go back now. read more

My husband and I are doing Whole30 and Skyleen did an amazing job accommodating us! She took everything seriously and made sure she effectively communicated with the chef and us. If you're on Whole30 you can have the Market Hash, no cheese or the traditional breakfast. I subbed fruit for the bacon and got a side of avocado. Skyleen also requested our food be cooked in olive oil instead of Pam. The food and service were great and Skyleen and her attention to detail as well as her kind and friendly personality made it an enjoyable meal all around! read more
