I went on a weekday and it was not crowd. My friends and I had a wonderful breakfast and the food was good. Overall good experience.

I had never been to First Watch before until now and am pretty surprised how good the food and service are, especially for a chain restaurant! We got 3 dishes: classic egg benedict, belgian waffle (pictured), and biscuit with turkey sausage gravy and side of home fries and eggs (not pictured because hubby's gotta eat lol). Everything was delicious! Egg benedict comes with tons of ham I could barely finish. The hollandaise sauce has a subtle flavor of lime juice. Waffle is bomb dot com. I've come here 3 times and got waffle every.single.time. Last but not least, biscuits and gravy was yum but I HAVE to talk about the home fries. It is SO good. I believe they pan fried the potatoes in onion oil or something so the fries is perfectly cooked with delicious onion flavor. I'm probably doing a terrible job of describing if but you just NEED to try the home fries uhmmkay? Lol Also, if you're lucky to be served by Latia, she is awesome and will make your day much better with her smile and serving nature! read more

Food is good here. the menu has a lot of options. We tried kale Frittata and basic breakfast. The only complaint we have is the service. Extremely slow and to even get a check, we had to wait 15-20 mins and after multiple reminders we finally got a response. read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I've visited this restaurant two times and both times I've had awful service and bad food. Today the food was so disgusting that I didn't even make a dent in it. My friends somewhat enjoyed their food but it's important to note that their order was completely messed up. They were even served undercooked potatoes!The waitress asked us if "everything was good" but before we could even answer, she was gone. Basically no service the entire time. I'm so disappointed. First time trying First Watch and it was good! I got the avocado toast (vegan friendly) and instead of grits I subbed breakfast potatoes. Everything was well seasoned and the toast is LOADED (see picture ) I had a really yummy juice drink that unfortunately I can't remember the name of but I'm pretty sure it had a peach flavor in it. Our server was sweet and very attentive. Check out was super easy and fast. Overall everyone we came across was kind and went out of their way to make conversation. Visited this new First Watch location today with my family. We were super excited to try the new neighborhood eat. Upon arrival we were told 15 mins wait which is not bad for a Saturday at 11am. The service was good, however we could tell instantly that our waitress was overwhelmed. We had to ask for everything. Clean utensils, water , napkins, and even straws. When our food arrived with our eggs not fully cooked even though we asked for hard no run. What we didn't expect was the bacon to still be alive. Lol. The waitress took it in stride and apologized and went to get us new options. The second round of eggs were better for my family but mine was still very runny. Runny as I'm still clear and fresh out the egg. This was a huge issue because there is nothing worst than eating your meal in pieces. Our waitress did remove my eggs from the bill. Food has potential but the service and servers just ruins this restaurant. I had a piece of cardboard cooked into my waffle and once i pointed it out, no apology and they expected me to still pay for it after ruining my appetite. I brought this to management attn as well and they seemed unbothered. 2/10 don't recommend try another location. read more

Four stars for a restaurant I honestly thought was an emergency room by the name. Surprisingly it is not!! Has a very nice interior, with big open spaces and lots of natural lighting. Fairly big menu, that does offer some vegan options as well, which is hard to find for brunch. I wouldn't order the French toast if you're hungry, it comes with 2 lukewarm slices and I had to ask for syrup. Service in itself was fine I guess. Not terrible but definitely not memorable, he's clearly just going through the motions of getting through a busy shift. Angel stooped gown to my grandson's level to take the order from him directly --- I found that to be very professional and thoughtful ! He has a mind of his own and capable of placing his own order. This is one of the better First Watch Restaurants we have been to in our travels. The food is always well prepared, they get eggs right and to your specification. The service is generally very good even when they are very busy and it looks like every other First Watch, clean and modern. The BEST thing about this First Watch is they are always faster to seat than other First Watch restaurants and usually have no wait at all even though the restaurant is almost completely full. The bus staff and the hostess rock. We do like the Southside FW but there are often waits of 45 minutes or an hour so we can drive from Dilworth to this one and get seated faster than walking from our house to the nearby one. Although I wasn't amazed with the food I am happy we have something else other than the traditional fast food spots in our area. Our waitress was amazing, very experienced on the menu and how the kitchen operates which was helpful when wanting to customize meals. I ordered the chicichanga and it was blah. I believe it was the Vera Cruz that threw me off. It just wasn't good. The breakfast potatoes and assortment of fruit was a great compliment however. I will return but next time im keeping it simple with my order in hopes of better results. read more

To make a long story short - we wasted over an hour at this establishment and walked out after never receiving 3/4 of our food. We were quoted a 5 minute wait time, we checked in with the manager who was at the host stand after 20 mins and were told it would still be 5-10 more minutes. It was another 12 minutes. On top of just the "5-10", I probably wouldn't complain, but this means we waited over 30 mins when quoted 5 mins. The manager was aware and did not apologize or anything. After working in restaurants for many years, the only time you should quote 5 minutes is if you have a table getting up and it just needs to be bussed and reset. If that isn't the case, if you have a long line of customers, why are you quoting 5 minutes? We finally sat down and ordered within a few minutes since we had plenty of time to review the menu while waiting. We ordered the appetizer donut holes because we were so hungry at this point, and the three of us each ordered breakfast. We waited AT LEAST 30-40 mins for any food to hit our table, and when it did, it was one of the entrees, but not the other two.. and the one that was delivered was missing all of the toppings? So after waiting 5+ mins for our server to return to our table (still no other food), we asked about the toppings on the breakfast burrito, and the other food. She took it back to the kitchen and returned 10 minutes later with the same entree and plate, now cold, with the extra toppings very sloppily added to it. The other two entrees were still nowhere to be found, and our appetizer.. also nowhere to be found. We waited 10 minutes to see if anything else came out.. it did not.. so we got up and left our twice delivered, cold entree on the table. This place has potential but they have absolutely got to get it together if they're going to stay in business. This is currently a pretty sad excuse for a dine in establishment. read more

First of all - No signage to indicate the separate stations (one to pay and the other to put your name down for a table), made the wrong line at first and my wait was extreme. FINALLY get a table, waiter appeared after almost 15 minutes. Got coffee and asked for utensils - never came. I had to get up and get them myself. Placed my breakfast order = Avocado Toast & 2 Poached Eggs. After an extremely long wait - I get my food and then sent it right back. What I got did not resemble Avocado Toast and it's quite obvious there is NO QUALITY CONTROL in the kitchen. I got 2 lumps of spoiled avocado mush on 2 pieces of small toast. You could see the brown areas all over the avocado but the kitchen still had the nerve to send this out to a customer. AND, the poached eggs were more along the lines of hard-boiled. I sent everything back and sat there while my husband finished his breakfast sandwich as I had already lost my appetite. I simply indulged in coffee. Food was delicious! I ordered the Trifecta and the lemon ricotta pancakes and it was terrific. The restaurant was very pretty and the location is nice. If you don't want to wait long I suggest going there 1-2 hours before closing because there is usually 20-25 min wait at opening hours. Plenty of free parking in the parking lot. The Sunset Rise and Kale Tonic are very good juices, Lavender Haze is a bit too sweet for me. If you're looking for mimosas or any alcoholic drinks they do serve those here, there is no bar. read more

My husband and I typically patronize First Watch in Steele Creek about 1-2 a month. While I enjoy the food, I feel the management needs to also pay attention to the restaurant cleanliness. Every time we go, we sit in a booth and notice the window ledges and shelves next to the booths are ALWAYS dusty! Once we saw a dead stink bug on the window sill and alerted the manager. I am happy this First Watch opened in Berwick! Wait time was very minimal for a party of 9 on a holiday (Monday). Service was very quick and speedy! We got the pick 2 sandwich and salad, pancake meal, and ice coffee. Would recommend pancakes and French toast I am only giving it a 4 STAR because the bathroom was a little dirty and walkways to bathroom, also the baby changing table in the women's is broken! We went here based on a recrimination when I first flew in for a bite to eat before visiting family. Wait time is about 20-30 min. Which is standard for a good place to eat on a weekend. Although the staff was super nice when we ordered we waited over an hour for food and arrived cold. The restaurant has a cool vibe but as a place I would return too,it did not meet the recommendation we had from a friend. Food is very good. When we went on a weekend our meals took a very long time to come out, but it was busy. We went in on a weekday, and after our server took our order, she never came to our table again. Someone else delivered our food, no one ever checked in on us or refilled drinks, and I had to go ask the hostess for our check, and the restaurant was 3/4 empty. The icing on the cake is that by default they add 18% gratuity to the bill. I think you can approve/decline it, but I think it's a lousy way to do business, especially given the service we had. I have had better experiences at other First Watch locations, I hope they can get it together. read more
