New First Watch in Lake Mary, FL is better than the other ones they have. I always found their coffee to be too strong but it was really good at this location. Food was really good too, atmosphere was pleasant and service was above par. We ate outside as we brought our dog and they were accommodating with water although we had to ask. I went to the Lake Mary, Florida First Watch restaurant this morning for breakfast and was very dissatisfied with the breakfast. I ordered an omelet with potatoes. When the order arrived it was cold. I let the waitress know about the temperature of the food. She had the kitchen fix another plate. The food arrived just warm and unseasoned. It appears the food is placed on cold plates that result in the food getting cold very quickly. The potatoes tasted as they were reheated and were unseasoned. I have eaten at other First Watch Restaurants in the area and not had this problem at any of them. I asked the waitress if they could serve the food on warm plates. She indicated they had no way to preheat the plates or coffee cups. I have since checked this restaurants reviews on Yelp and saw several comments about costumers food being served cold. I will not recommend the Lake Mary location to anyone. read more

We've been regulars at First Watch and really like the chain, brand, menu, food selection, etc. But the Lake Mary location, although very close to our house, has become a negative experience compared to other locations like Longwood, Maitland, etc. Today we waited 30 mins for our food after ordering and then the avocado toast came out on untoasted bread. When I complained to manager, instead of owning the mistake she tried to give me an excuse that they lightly toasted on the grill like I was an idiot not knowing difference between fresh bread and toasted. I've ordered this dish 20-30 times and it wasn't prepared. When she brought me another prepared correctly, she asked if this one was more to my liking. We'll go to Longwood from now on. read more

I love the food here, the vibe, and everything in between. I would love to give you guys a 5 star review but this is now the second time I've checked in via the app, arrive on time, check in with the host and they not have my name in the system, in which I then have to wait another 20-50 minutes upon arrival. Also, I've witnessed on multiple occasions minorities being treated less fairly compared to the older non minority individuals coming in. That pisses me off. Again, I love the restaurant, food, and environment. It's just these two things that I've noticed/experienced that need to be worked on. Thank you. read more

Very reasonably priced. Great service. Sometimes the food doesn't taste *that* fresh. E.g. fruit cups with fruit that clearly looks old and like it's been left in the fridge for too long. It's still the best brunch place in Lake Mary though. Love the fact you can get in line virtually using the Yelp app. read more

I've been wanting to eat at First Watch. This was my choice for Mother's Day. Since they don't take reservations, our party of 6 showed up at 10 am and put our name on the list. After an hours wait we were assured it wouldn't be much longer. At the 1-1/2 hour point we were told there were many people ahead of us. Since we had observed a steady stream of people who arrived after we us being seated we again asked our status. We were told these people had requested Preferred Seating on the app. Pray tell why the staff didn't mention or suggest this when 1) my son called to inquire about reservations; or 2) we arrived and put our name on the list at 10 am. Our wait outside in the heat was 2 hours 22 minutes. People who arrived after us & been seated were leaving before we ever got in the door. We would have left and gone somewhere else but knew we would just be starting a long wait somewhere else. Once seated the service was excellent and food served quickly. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely not!!! i might also mention that there was outdoor, shaded seating. There were only two tables occupied. With so many people waiting to be seated, why was the outdoor dining not offered as an option? With the seating procedures First Watch has in place it is highly unlikely we will return. The food was good but certainly nothing special enough to warrant a wait of more than 15-20 minutes to be seated. read more

Typically one of my favorite breakfast spots, and I truly believe if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. With that being said- working in a restaurant myself, sometimes constructive criticism is needed. I understand what it's like being a new restaurant and trying to work out the kinks. However, one thing that shouldn't lack is table presence and service. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted. Two tables that got sat after us got served before we did. No big deal, we waited- asked for coffee and water. Coffee was brought when we were initially greeted, but got our water much later after asking another server to bring us some. I ordered the market hash, which was really good. My fiancé ordered an omelet which was cold, but because we never saw our server again, my fiancé just ate it. One male server was texting on his phone right in front of us, when there were at least 6 dirty tables. Not a good look- text in the back of the house where guests cannot see you. Kudos goes out to the taller blonde waitress with her hair pulled into a bun, who even though wasn't our server, still took care of us. Out of everyone working, she was really trying her best to get the restaurant back together. She ended up bringing us our bill because again, our server was nonexistent. I don't think we ever saw a manager present in the restaurant at all, or else I could've avoided writing this review. We will give this location another try in a few months. If things change, I will update my review. read more

As always great staff and great food. We go to the First Watch at home quite often. First time for my daughter and DIL. They loved it. I would highly recommend and ask question if you don't understand something on the menu they are always willing to explain. Since the food is prepare so fresh it is easy to customize. read more

Food was good, service was good however it was too noisy for my liking and our table was too small for the space needed for our order.

So I stopped by around 10 am on a Tuesday after my yoga class because I was craving a veggie omelet. It was just me-- a woman over 40 in yoga pants and dining alone. I asked to be seated outside. The restaurant wasn't particularly crowded inside and no one was on the patio. After the waitress seated me I told her I was going to ladies room. I returned less than 5 minutes later. I then waited for a full 10 minutes. No one came out to take my order. I picked up my things and walked inside, passed 3 waiters who weren't particularly busy.. and no one even acknowledged me. The hostess wasn't at her stand. I walked out the door and proceeded down the street to a family owned restaurant where I was greeted warmly, seated (outside on an empty patio again) and was p immediately waited upon with a smile. My food arrived within 10 minutes! I won't be going back to Third Watch. Horrible service. read more
