We wanted to try a few things and went for the fish and chips, onion rings appetizer, shepherd's pie, and chocolate cake dessert. The fish and chips was very good; it comes with pea mash, which I enjoyed, but hubs wasn't the biggest fan. The homemade chips (aka fries) were really good! The shepherd's pie was tasty and although it looks like a smaller bowl, it's super filling. The onion rings had a good breading on them and came with a couple sauce varieties. The chocolate cake was good, but VERY rich. We split it between the three of us and couldn't finish it! Overall: A Solid Pub that we'll definitely be visiting again.

We had plenty of room back there for the kids to be kids. Our server was great. I had no idea they would tack on 20% tip to our bill, but she wasn't slacking. She was still earning that tip. She brought out chips and salsa and then got our drink order. That helped keep the kids occupied. My friend suggested the margarita flight- so I went for it. The menu is an iPad with pictures of everything but it's also a lot of clicking back and forth and kind of overwhelming. My friend loved the carnitas fajitas and got that again. She gave me a bite- the pork was in chunks but it was so flavorful and tender. I had the shrimp tacos- wow! There were four huge shrimp in each taco (3 tacos) so it was about 3/4 of a pound of shrimp or maybe even a pound! Mine came with a side of rice and beans- which you can adjust a little but not too many options exist. I did not want beans but I also did not want double rice lol. Hers came with the usual fajita stuff- lettuce, guac, salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Both dishes came with your choice of corn or flour tortillas The guys got the chicken fajitas and the molcajete, which came w the same platter of sides and tortillas. There was food everywhere. The kids got chicken tenders, black beans, refried beans, rice, white queso dip and macaroni and cheese. They all kinda shared and of course didn't finish their food. I think they got full on chips and salsa. The margarita flight I had has many choices for flavors. I got kiwi, coconut and blackberry. All were very good but all very sweet. They put a lot of syrup in there. I think you'd be better off just getting a regular margarita or one flavored one because the flight cups are smaller than typical margarita glasses. So if they're putting one squirt of syrup, it's probably too much for that little glass. So next time I'll just get the coconut margarita. They have churros and what not but we opted against dessert. The kids wanted ice cream from the place down the plaza (Violet's- it's great! See my review). We boxed up our leftovers (I couldn't eat all three tacos; I had one left, plus my rice and beans) and paid the tab. She was nice to split it up by family and I'm sure that was not easy! I did not use the restroom but most of us did. The restrooms look like singles but they're not. The women's has two stalls behind that door so don't get caught waiting in the hallway. Go inside. My friend's kid didn't wanna wait or couldn't wait so they went straight to the men's, thinking the women's was a one stall. Hahahaha. Parking is hard to find because it's a busy plaza. We had to park all the way down by Fishbones where the parking lot is a lot bigger. They have a front part of their restaurant which also has some bar seating and then that more quiet back room where we were seated. I would recommend this place. It's a little pricey for Mexican food but it's really good. (Also it's hard to mess us Mexican, I get it). I was impressed by the amount of shrimp in my tacos and the amount of pork carnitas and chicken fajitas they put on their platters. They also have quite a selection of flavors for their margs.

The food and drinks were fantastic, and our bartender Leslie made the experience even better. The guacamole and birria empanadas were standouts, and the drinks were all great. We loved the cantarita, margaritas, Blue Hawaiian, and the spicy Bloody Marys. Leslie was friendly, attentive, and makes excellent drinks. And they put the Illinois men's basketball game on for us!! If I lived here, this place would definitely be in my regular rotation.

The owner is the chef and they have a staff of maybe 5 people total. It's personal and professional. It's fresh food made daily and you can see them working in the kitchen. If you go and eat one thing, it's the ribs appetizer. The salmon was amazing too. But the sauce and those ribs will have me going back!

But even that was expensive for a dip I could've made myself. We used to be regulars here, but I just don't feel like paying more for extra small portions and less quality meals. It's hard to tell what's really made from "scratch" anymore as almost everything tasted like it came from a cheap can or a box and it used to not be like that. Things have just changed here, including the service, and it's unfortunate because we used to come here all the time...

Imagine a large square iron dish with a mound of steak, chicken, shrimp, and pork belly with a bunch of vegetables like sprouts, onions, bell peppers, and garlic. The dish was super fresh with a very mild sauce but what made is awesome was that every single thing was cooked to it's own perfect level. Four kinds of meat all cooked perfectly, multiple kinds of veggies all cooked perfectly the rice was kinda basic but it didn't matter! For our anniversary they also gave us a complimentary caramel cheesecake that was also really good and let us taste their house cinnamon pisco...Fire! in a good way! During dinner, they also had a photographer walking around and taking pictures that are then printed and put in a nice case. The fajitas come with sides and you receive a good amount of food, no skimping. I was also able to sample one of their Quesada's, which was delicious. Vienna was kind enough to bring over some fresh Churro's and dipping sauce for the birthday song, and there was enough for everyone in our group to try, which was really nice. The Churro's were fresh, hot, had a great crunchy exterior, and perfect blend of seasoning. The restaurant is not really big so it can get crowded during peak times. It is beautiful inside and could make for a nice date night with the wife next time she wants something special. Pricing is a bit high when compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. I was completely satisfied with my meal and experience but know that you can find more affordable options if you are looking to save some $$$$. All-in-all, great experience, and I would recommend them.

I've been a First Watch supporter since the first central Florida location in Maitland opened, and have visited this location (Lake Mary) many times since its opening last year for meals and client meetings as it is just a few minutes from home and my office. My daughter and I visited last Friday for brunch and the service was absolutely terrible despite it not being busy at all. Our server basically ignored us the entire time and seemed more interested in being attentive to the other diners around us. I ordered the avocado toast and it arrived without the eggs. Had to wait another 5 minutes for those. There was also no salt and pepper on the table (due to COVID-19) so we asked the server to bring some out. She forgot and ignored us for another 10 minutes while she checked on everyone else. When I finally flagged her down, she rushed to grab the salt/pepper and plopped then on table and never came back other than to pick up our plates. The girl at the register was rude as well. She also did not bother to ask how our meal was or the service nor did she thank us for coming in. We won't be back here. There are far too many other options in the area where we will not be treated as though we are invisible. Initially, I left the restaurant feedback privately, however, they did not bother to even acknowledge or respond to it. read more

What an egg-sperience! Ordered avocado toast, but because I don't care for wiggly eggs, I asked for scrambled eggs instead of basted. Well, the meal arrived with scrambled eggs that were very "wiggly". The server, reacting to my immediate, and apparently obvious dismay, explained that this is just how they serve eggs. And, even though they were visibly snotty, they were cooked and safe to eat. Okay, some people like runny eggs, and that's fine, but I don't. Most scrambled eggs are cooked through, (it was my fault to assume I guess). So, they were gracious and offed new ones. Soon they arrived with the fresh batch, which were passive-aggressively cooked until dark brown. Thank you first watch for an unforgettable dining experience! And, while I'm here, let me add - please stop serving the hot water for tea in coffee carafes, It makes the tea taste like old coffee. Gross. read more

I had the breakfast skillet and hubs had biscuits and gravy. They make their own biscuits in house daily and even though I'm not much of a biscuit girl I had to try. Delicious sweet tea and the portions were huge. Eggs were cooked perfect and hash browns nice and crispy. If you are in the Lake Mary area recommend highly recommend to try!

I am not privy on all the Bistros offerings and there was no menu available to review at the time of arrival. However, on this morning the Bistro provided a breakfast Buffett for an additional charge of $15.95 per person. Although our meal was part of our hotel package, I was curious to know the value of the Buffett for our fellow Yelpers. The service was here was really good and the tables were set up in a more formal layout without being too fancy. All the seating areas looked clean and the silverware and glasses were polished for spots. We thought the inside of this Bistro was quite beautiful and were supprised to found out that they will be remodeling the Bistro and lobby in the near future. For breakfast the Bistro offers a variety of juices, and teas. Their coffee was tasty and provided just the right amount of strong wake-up-kick for our Halloween Party hangover. The Buffet fetured oatmeal, scrambled eggs (liquid type), bacon, sausage patties, red bliss roasted potatoes and kielbasa in a spinach callaloo sauce. Other items included were: yogurt, cereal, toast, bagles, muffins, fruit filled danishes and fresh fruit were available. There was also a chef making omelettes-to-order which was a nice addition to the overall experience. All the food was good but nothing was over the top. We did enjoy our meal and there was nothing to complain about. The highlight of the meal was when our server used saucer's to cover our coffee and keep it hot while we were going up for our food. Gestures like that make all the difference in the world. I would definitely revisit the bistro if I were to stay in this hotel in the future. We hung around long enough to catch a peek of the Sunday brunch set up. The Bistro does a really good job presenting the food and their is a lot to choose from but that is for another review.
