We had ordered about 6 different meals and chose to share amongst the group. Not a single one of us liked what we each had got, we politely told our waiter some of the issues and she really tried to fix them but the taste just wasn't there/good. We were there Friday 12/3 maybe 9:30am. We were seated promptly. Maybe 10 tables occupied and 1 or two at the bar. After 10 minutes of no server coming to our table, I went back the hostess stand. We could see a half dozen of them chatting in front of the cooking line. A young lady came over and was very apologetic. After ordering and delivering our food, she came back and said she had to drive someone else home and another server would check on us. No one else came by; I had to back to the hostess stand to get the check. My wife had the basic eggs,meat toast breakfast. It was very well prepared And the food was high quality, especially the bacon. I had a chicken chorizo breakfast burrito. It was well prepared but I think they forgot to put the chorizo in it. One cup of coffee was served and never refilled. Coffee is decent but I think it was quite expensive for a single cup. Not sure if it was supposed to be refilled. On the floor, the staff wore masks. In front of the cook line none of the servers (pulled them down) nor the expediter in gray had masks on. For the table to server ratio, the service was poor. We are happy to offer the 4th review, marking the 4th day since official opening. We are rating them a 5 because of overall experience. Well done. There are a few recommendations that we'd offer, but if other patrons feel differently, then chalk it up to personal preference....also this was just the first week being officially open. Great: - Servers were really friendly and helpful - Ambiance was fresh, lite, airy, and inviting ... we felt like we could chill out here - Avocado toast was really fresh and the lemon zest nailed it! - Orange detox beverage was quite tasty! We tried First Watch a week ago and had a good experience. Today we went in for brunch to celebrate that I do not have to do chemo for cancer that I have. The whole experience was awful. We placed our order and after a long wait 2 plates were dropped off at our table. We explained to the waitress, not the person who took our order, that this is not what we ordered. She went back to the kitchen and another waitress came out, apologized and delivered the now look warm plates to another table. More waiting and they finally came back with one plate and no sign of my soup and salad. My husband's food did not resemble the photo that we had seen on the menu, it was missing key elements. Se left at this point, the manager picked up the cost of our drinks. Very disappointing, won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Excellent breakfast. Delicious juice bar. Even great coffee. Friendly staff. Don't hesitate. Just go in!

First, the food was good. Second, the coffee, to my taste, was undrinkable. We were there around lunch time... but, to Hubby, anytime can be breakfast time. So.... Hubby ordered pancakes which were large, fluffy and tasty. Score one. I ordered an omelet, which was quite good -- firm, not runny, stuffed with fresh ingredients that were not mushy. Score two. The toast was multi-grain bread and good (wish it had been a tad darker and had not come pre-buttered, but that is common). I ordered coffee and found it just undrinkable. Hubby suggested adding water, adding creamer and so on. Here's the thing...bad coffee is bad coffee. I sent it back and ordered a Bloody Mary, which was ...OK. The person who took the coffee away (he was not our server) did his very best to help. He brought a Morning Meditation juice drink "on the house" to try and help. Score three. It was quite good...a bit sweet for my taste, but quite good. I would definitely try the juice blends again, maybe look for something less sweet. Hubby just settled on Diet Coke. The service was friendly and concerned with diner satisfaction. Score four. Would I go back? I don't know. I'd really like to do so, but I've been a coffee drinker for... well... well over half a century, on several continents, and it's difficult for me to not order coffee, any time of day. Stopped in on a busy Sunday morning before a cars and coffee with no reservation (sorry to be that guy) for a table for one, and was seated immediately. The staff was very efficient and polite and they definitely reflected the humble vibe of the restaurant. The food was simple and substantial, and was very good. Not ready for prime time. We went for breakfast today after having visited the First Watch in Jacksonville, NC. My wife and I ordered the same breakfast entrees we had in NC to compare the two locations. In NC, the whites of my eggs Benedict with salmon was slightly undercooked, other than that the breakfast was delicious. Service was also very good. Now Leesburg, we were seated upon arrival (a few minutes after 8:00am) and the waitress came over and took our drink orders. She took our breakfast order after she brought our drinks, but at no point did she offer to substitute the arugula salad that comes with the breakfast, with something else. We had fruit cups in NC. My breakfast came out after a reasonable amount of time, but my wife's omelet (The Works) did not. The delivery person said it will be right out. I waited for hers to come out before eating. About 5 - 6 minutes later, our waitress came back to see if we were enjoying our breakfast, she did not notice that we were missing the omelet until we pointed it out. After another 5 - 6 minutes the omelet arrived with no explanation as to why it was delayed or anything else. The plate was put down on the table and the person walked away. By now, my breakfast is completely cold. The english muffin was not toasted, one egg yolk was runny like an egg Benedict should be, the yolk on the 2nd egg was completely cooked through. My wife got a piece of toast with her omelet breakfast (which was cooked similar to the one in NC and was acceptable) that was neither toasted or buttered. Two stars because they just opened and have a lot of kinks to work out before this could become a regular breakfast venue. However, without an improvement in service and the food quality coming out of the kitchen, this restaurant will close the same as the tenant that used to be here. read more

Greetings all, I write with the upmost respect for this fine establishment, located conveniently at the once, vacant, Green Turtle. Weary of what may follow the previous occupants' embarrassment of a restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the impeccable service, everlasting gratitude, and selfless servitude brought on by the wait staff. As I waited for my food, I thought, "What did I do to deserve such great service? I am merely a mortal man, and yet, I am being treated by the hand of Gods." Then, arrived the food. Seated on its throne, my eyes could not look away as I was entranced by not only its presentation, but it was its smell that began to corrupt my innocent olfactory senses. The butter rolled smoothly along the edge of the pancake, moving at the pace of a slow dripping maple syrup. My first bite finally arrived, and just as quickly, I found myself falling into a trance of pure bliss. With each bite, I grew saddened by the waning visual in front of me. Finally, I was left vacant. A void took the place of my once youthful soul, which at one point may have been naive to the wonders of the world. Good breakfast (loved the avocado toast and farmhouse hash was filling), decent prices, friendly server, one of the hostesses was very rude and condescending. We arrived at the restaurant and put our names down and received a text stating we were on the waitlist. After about 45 minutes, we went up to the hostess stand to ask how much longer and told we were up next. Two other parties were seated ahead of us. We went up to the hostess stand again and she told us "for future reference, we have an online wait system." Perhaps she thought we had just walked in? When I tried to explain to her that we had put our names down 45 minutes ago when we walked in, she told us "being grumpy isn't going to make anything happen" and explained again that they had an online wait system. I was not grumpy, just trying to explain where I think the miscommunication occurred. And we get it, you have an online wait system. Okay we know that for the future, but how does this help us now? How quickly can we be seated? When I asked those questions, she would not answer. It doesn't seem like their system is organized and that this particular member of their team needs a lesson in basic hospitality. First Watch is always one of the go-to Breakfast/Brunch places in the area. On this past Saturday (6/18) we had a bit of a wait but not too long. My wife ordered the Blueberry Muffin Topper Pancakes and I ordered the Meat Omelet with Home-fries on the side. Our waitress tried her best but was very soft-spoken so it was difficult to hear her at times. The Omelet was excellent but the Home-fries were raw potatoes with a pinch of seasoning. I informed our waitress and she offered to take my entire plate back to fix it. I asked if they could bring another order of the home-fries out separately. I don't think she understood my request and left. She seemed to avoid our table for the remainder of our time there. She then brings the check and says she removed my meal from the check. While a nice gesture in taking responsibility for the problem, it was not necessary to comp my entire meal. We are still emerging from the pandemic and staffing is short, please be patient with the wait staff. I'd go back again but they need to tweak a few things. read more

Had an awesome experience at First Watch's opening weekend. The food was amazingly delicious and all of the employees were very attentive and friendly. It was very clean/hygenic and even had a restroom attendant cleaning and disinfecting after each person. I could not give a higher recommendation. Try the Morning Meditation juice with your meal for a healthy, delicious kick start to your day. This is absolutely my new favorite restaurant in Leesburg. I can't wait to go back. Today I visited your Leesburg, VA location for a pickup order. Not only were things missing from my order (the avocado in my salad & the dressing) but the hostess was very rude! I waited at the stand for 10 mins after noticing my order was wrong when she finally approached me and I told her the issue she went back and forth with me. She finally took my salad to the kitchen to add the avocado but did not bring back the dressing or 2 syrups I requested b/c she explained the person that packed my order put it in the bag. I then said again I checked the bag and it is not there may I either get the dressing or bring the food back in for a refund. She finally got the dressing and syrup, I get home and go to eat my pancakes (blueberry lemon ricotta) to find it's one single pancake with lemon curd and strawberries on it. No blueberries at all. But I was charged for the 2 lemon ricotta pancakes. Not only is it a 15-minute drive from my house but they are also now closed. This is beyond pathetic! Oh not to mention instead of fixing my order promptly she decided to take payment from the white customers before she got my dressing even tho I was there 1st! read more
