Very good. Tends to be very busy at breakfast time and sometimes you have to be ready to expect a rather long wait. However, their food is fresh and good. Overall, all a good experience.

Great service and insanely fresh food. Even when crowded, it's comfortable and prompt. I enjoy this breakfast spot because it is consistent and the menu options are abundant and tasty.

TLDR: Plenty of parking. Great seasonal food! Food (4/5): I had to be dragged here. I never wanted to go because my friends would always say that it's overpriced for an egg. But one morning, we decided we wanted seasonal donut holes & fancy eggs, so we came to First Watch. I was wrong. The Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl $12.79 was absolutely delicious. The Salted Caramel Holey Donuts were superb. The Farmhouse Hash $13.99 was good, but the toast was mid, and the eggs were under-cooked for over-medium. Service (5/5): Service was prompt and polite. Parking (5/5): There is a parking lot. It can get packed fast, but there's an entire shopping area next to it where you can park, so it's not an issue. I would come back for that Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl.

Came in on a Sunday, and boy was it packed! I had "gotten in line" for a table online with an estimated table availability from 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes wait time. I was hoping for a 45-minute one to an hour wait time, but they did end up seating us a little over an hour and 15 minutes of the estimated wait time. It wasn't that big of a deal really, but I was a little bit impatient because I was starving. The staff were really friendly and calm, especially during a really busy time. I appreciated the staff's patience while I was a little bit hangry! They were quick and pretty good with the table turnovers as well. The dining area and the tables were all fairly clean even halfway through a busy Sunday morning and a full dining area. The only thing I would've liked was to have been checked on a little sooner after getting our food because I needed my water to be refilled. It took me a couple tries to get our server's attention so I can ask for more water. It's a great spot for breakfast or brunch for small or big groups. It wasn't too loud when we had gone even with several families with children. There is a bar for people who prefer and for people who like to eat alone, too! My mom ordered the chickichanga; my dad had the smoked salmon fritata and seasoned potatoes. I chose the Works Omelet with seasoned potatoes instead of the greens. I loved my Works omelet and my parents enjoyed their dishes as well. There was only one thing that we didn't like: my and my dad's potatoes were a tad bit too salty for our taste. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and now know to "get in line" for a table sooner rather than later or arrive early! We will definitely be back again.

The "fixed" burned cinnamon roll. Hard as a rock.

Do NOT get the cinnamon roll. This is our third time here and maybe our last. The food has always been good. Not great but great selection of breakfast options. Today I got the turkey gravy biscuits with eggs over medium. The eggs were over hard. I did bring it to the waitress and she quickly corrected it with over easy eggs. Which were not right but better than completely hard without any softness to the yolk. We also tried the cinnamon roll. I got it to go. For $5.99 I expected an awesome roll. It was small and completely burnt on the bottom. Which I'm glad we checked before leaving. We showed the waitress and she said oh no completely burnt. She said the manager would come out. I guess it was him. He brought us another one only half burnt in the bottom. And the taste was only fair. Do NOT get the cinnamon roll.

A famous movie character once said, "And in the morning I'm making waffles". More like, in the morning I am coming here. That cinnamon powder sugar is the ultimate game changer when it comes to a waffle. Without it, it would taste like every normal waffle. I honestly should've asked for more. Our waitress was super nice. It was extremely busy so make sure you join the waitlist early.

This place is not getting the justice it needs. The star rating is not accurate, this place deserves 4 starts.. Food quality is excellent and very generous portions. The million dollar bacon deserves that name. Delicioussssss, nice crunch and great taste. The pancakes could have had more ricotta but it was still good. The biscuit and turkey gravy was heaven.. wow!! you would not have known this was turkey.. Hubs omelette with chorizo was good, but there is better things on menu to try. Our waiter was so gracious, accommodating and helpful with menu suggestions..

First Watch - 603 Potomac Station Dr. NE The host, Tamika, was unbelievably rude. After I politely pointed out if we could sit at the available tables in the back because of our dog, she rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath " ... people". When I asked a coworker for her name, Tamika began yelling in front of everyone in the wait area, sarcastically offering to bring the manager. Her arrogance and lack of professionalism made this the most uncomfortable dining experience I've ever had. I do not think we will be back again!

I'd been to a First Watch one time in the past in the Cleveland, OH area - and it was really enjoyable - so I was psyched that there are a couple of First Watches now in the general western Northern Virginia area. I'm a total slut for breakfast hashes - so I ordered the Lone Star Brisket Hash - and a side of bacon, plus water. The food came out in short order. The hash was almost a work of art. Visually stunning! Would make a great photo for a jigsaw puzzle! The hash had layers and layers of "flayvors" - potatoes, eggs, brisket, avocado mash, pickled peppers, and more! The bacon was thick and meaty! Service was very good! Great place for breakfast! #FirstWatch

In the 2010's, about a few times a year on average, I'd have work travel to Leesburg. I'd often be coming from my office at companies in Howard County or Halethorpe (Baltimore County), MD , so I almost took the less traffic northern route down I-70 to Frederick & down US 15 to avoid often times traffic somewhere on 495, avoiding toll on Dulles Toll Road & Green Way or slow of VA-7 all the way to Leesburg. The multiple times I was going down US 15, I was thinking it was a cute place, but left turn in and left turn out with sometimes a lot of traffic to make the left back onto US 15 wasn't worth it. And sometimes wouldn't be going back the same way as until 2017 lived in NoVA And even 2017-2020 Wheaton, MD, I'd still often tough it out take VA-7 to 495 and deal with nasty traffic to get back home. On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, I happened to have not eaten lunch, took US 15 back into MD, and decided to eat a late lunch here at Roots 657 on the southside of the small hamlet of Lucketts, VA. The outside of this place looks like a large barn. Inside the store, there's a gift shop like what you might see at Cracker Barrel, but less cramped and nicer. Ordering was at a counter with a chalk-written menu above. Staff was cordial. And the burger was big quite possibly the best burger I had in 2018 and a lot of fries too. Although work travel to Leesburg is highly unlikely these days, if I'm ever out there for work or other reason, I'd definitely want to revisit this gem.

Located in the shopping center with Woodside Deli and Gold Gym this place is too cute for Gaithersburg. It barely has a social media presence but it is so photogenic it needs to be more popular. The pastries here are mostly animal shaped. Thus the adorable part. I ordered the following: -Bear shaped cocoa cream puff -minion cakesicle -hello kitty macaron -croque monsuier -basque cheesecake -a ridiculously cute frog cake -brown sugar milk tea Everything tasted as good as it looked. The cream puff had a whipped frosting and a light mousse filling. The savory croque hit the spot when surrounded by sweets. The cake omg could devoured in one sitting by one person. Light cream and filled with strawberries. The pastries here are so light that they almost feel strangely healthy and don't leave you feeling heavy. The bubble tea however, was a little sweet. I would've very much preferred if we had a choice of how sweet it could be but otherwise it's really good. The service is friendly. There's a few tables to sit down and hang out at. I can't wait to come back here and get the tiramisu.
