Terrible service for pick up............no one greeted as I walked in door and 3 employees kept speaking with each other and only decided to greet once other customers walked in. Been here twice since opening and we had great experiences both times. On our first visit, Kimberly was our server. She was so awesome with our little boy allowing him to order and she was patient while he was learning to ask for things politely. On our second visit at least a month later we coincidentally got Kimberly again and she not only remembered us but also details about what we ordered on our first visit!! Who does that?? We will be requesting her on every visit from now on! For the food we tried the coconut shrimp, the bisque and jalapeño soup. All were so good! I think I'll try the calamari next though since many reviews are recommending it. I got the beer battered cod on both visits because it was that good. My husband changes his dish each visit and always orders from the special chalk board menu and has not been disappointed. Save room for the $10 piece of chocolate cake. If you don't have room, take it home!! Trust me. It's worth each and every dollar. Kimberly recommended it so it's gotta be good!! We love Fish City. Can't say enough about this place but have always a been a fan of the franchise from Half Shells to Fish City in Georgetown, TX. It was our first time visiting since they opened up about a month ago. We sat at the Bar and Lena took great care of us. I had the Shrimp Stuffed Flounder and my wife had the Shrimp and Grits. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed some wonderful wine and cocktails. By the time we left we were chatting with Will who was relieving Lena for the day. We will definitely be back for some other offering's especially the Oyster Nachos which can't be beat! read more

The dining space is very inviting. The staff is very friendly and great service. The food has plenty of Cajun items being so far away from NOLA. This is a franchise establishment. However, I noticed the menu varies for each location. The location in Sugar Land, TX has Grilled Chicken and Andouille sausage over Red Beans and rice. The gumbo flavor is good with a nice color roux but I do prefer darker roux for gumbo. The Super Green Salmon Salad is a great dish. Salmon cooked perfectly medium. The dressing is really tasty. The red bean and rice flavor is good. Wish it was a little thicker consistency instead of being so watery. Also, the red bean needs to be soaked and cooked longer so they break apart. This dish is subpar to the Sugar Land location. Overall, I do recommend you try it out. Hope the red beans and rice will be better next time around. read more

Tonight, I had the sockeye salmon with wilted spinach and rice and it was just really bland. Food came out partially hot and cold. It was as if the plate had sat and they threw hot salmon on top. Fish City Grill was amazing. Wonderful staff, tasty food and drinks. My waitress was Jessica and she was awesome. I had charbroiled oysters, and the jumbo lump crab cake. The crab cake was large and all Lucious crabmeat, not mush. It was my first time dining there, and the manager Chris brought over a plate with soup samples (the soups are delicious - my favorites were the jalapeño and the lobster bisque) and a sampling of the fried oyster nachos which were also very tasty. My cocktail was prickly pear margarita, which I really enjoyed. I'll certainly be returning. So happy this restaurant is right in my backyard. read more
