Very immaculately clean and nice inside, thank you! Clam Chowder tastes homemade and is a good size. Grilled shrimp tacos were delicious, plenty of food in their combos. The beans are Peruvian and have a slightly sweet taste. Brown rice was good. I think they were out of Black Beans during my visit. They serve delicious and healthy style seafood. If you're into grilled seafood and taking care of your health this place is for you. For people looking to eat globs of greasy deep fried seafood dipped in mayo, you need to go to the Redondo Beach pier for that. Employees are warm and friendly. Patriots, law enforcement and veterans are respected and treated with kindness. I can't wait to come back and try their other items. I hope the salsa bar eventually adds one more choice of fresh salsa for us Southern California locals who like it hot. But they do have bottled hot sauces. Next we ordered online and were told 15 minutes, arrived in 16 minutes and the food was just being place on the counter, nice! We ordered fish and chips which came with coleslaw and French fries. The fish was crisp and delicious, the Cole slaw was really good and the fries were crispy and salted perfectly. We ordered several different tacos and the were all amazing, from the corn tortillas to to the finally diced tomatoes. They know how to grill fish without burning or drying it out, flaky and delicious. I'm glad I don't live closer because we would probably eat there way too much! We went here for dinner. The Yelp ratings caught our eyes, so we gave it a try. We got 2 tacos each with a side of beans and rice. Both of us got calamari and friend fish. The tacos were a bit small and pricey. The calamari in the tacos had way too much breading on it and I could not tell I was eating calamari at all. The fish taco was fresh, but average. Review is strictly based on the fish and shrimp tacos. Price of each taco is almost $4. Taste wise not bad but it's not amazing either. The seasoning didn't taste like a traditional Mexican seafood taco, more like some type of sriracha mayo on top, almost making it taste fusion and tacos were a bit on the smaller side. I asked for salsa and they said they don't have any salsa. Sorta unfortunate there's no salsas for a place that serves tacos. The cashier asked if I meant chiles and I said sure and she said we don't have any chiles either. The only sauces they provide are sriracha, Tabasco, or tapatio. For the price, including the fact there was no salsas or chiles, I'd have to give this a 3 star (strictly for the tacos). Probably not the place for tacos, it seemed like their other fish entrees are better. Will have to try again next time and skip the tacos. It is very casual. My sister thinks the crunchy fish tacos are the best she has ever had, anywhere. I love the grilled salmon--They give you a lot and I feel like I can eat healthy here. My wife and I wanted to try something new so we gave Fish Daddy a try. Despite being super busy (understandable for Saturday night) , the food was outstanding! I got fish and chips and my wife got fried shrimp w/ sweet potato fries. Not to get too technical, but the breading was pretty thin (in a good way) but crispy! A lot of places will pack on the breading and give you a tiny sliver of fish--that wasn't the case here. Even better, it was fresh and tasted fantastic! (Sometimes fish and chips can be pretty bland--Fish Daddy's was awesome.) The shrimp were equally as good; as were the fries (and even the coleslaw). We'll definitely be back! Sidenote: we happened to go in as some jerk was having a meltdown and berating the workers. At first we were alarmed, thinking it wasn't a good sign, but it turns out the guy was expecting the workers to give him some sort of preferential treatment (he ordered his food after almost everyone inside yet wanted his first???). He clearly frazzled the workers, especially the poor girl at the register, but a few other people in the restaurant kept complementing the actually-great service afterwards so we wanted to give the place the benefit of the doubt--and we were definitely rewarded.
