The café itself has a very upscale feel--polished, elegant, and the kind of spot where you want to slow down and savor your treat. It made the whole experience feel elevated. (Cheese pull did not disappoint.) also ordered the famous affogato. I ordered vanilla and was recommended the chocolate toppings. This place has the best affogatos we've ever had. Highly recommend them. Unfortunately the service isn't up to the same standard. I feel like we're bothering the lady at the counter instead of being welcome. Oh well, we've been there twice this week, so it's easily overlooked, just takes away from a 5 star experience. I give this place 4.8 stars. A few points knocked off because its expensive! It is worth it but come on, times are hard! Regardless, I recommend trying this place. It's convenient off of Rainbow and Blue Diamond. The shopping center never has parking but there is one 15-minute parking spot. Its not a big place for a group but a friend and you if no one else is there works. You walk in, look at all the gummies and tell the barista what you'd like. These pastries are delicious! Hands down one of the best I have ever had! I picked some desserts up on my way to a family dinner and stumbled across this place because another dessert place was closed. I'm glad I came back. I bought a variety of pastries and all were delicious! The presentation was amazing! I came back the next day to grab a treat for my favorite hair stylist and her first bite was the same as mine! Got some pastries and Affogato from Sgrizzi Restaurants' Bakery next door, Florentine Cafe. Wife got a Hazelnut Affogatto and I got a Pistachio Affogato. We got a Lobster Tail, Crookie, and Pistachio Croissant to share. Affogatos were delicious and this is the first place in Vegas to do affogato like how they do in Italy The Crookie was okay, but the standouts were the Lobster Tail and Pistachio Croissant. Prices are pretty steep for being just a few months open compared to established places like Cafe Breizh and Rosalie. Love a cafe that bakes goods onsite. The pastries and bread were not only beautiful but delicious. We were there early New Year's Eve day and the line was at least 5 deep. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table in the restaurant next door. The restaurant is open for brunch on Sundays and dinners on other nights. The pastries were tasty, flakey as you'd expect, light and airy not too sweet. We also bought a baguette loaf. It was warm and fresh out of the oven. I wished we would have eaten it then but our pastries were very filling. Service could have been better but thankfully we were not in a rush. Because we had to wait a little longer they gave us a free cannoli. The coffee was very good, especially with the almond cornetto...but even better was the price for the coffee, totally reasonable. Delicious! Takes me all the way back to Italy. Wow. I can't wait to come back and try more pastries. They have a large variety and all look exquisite. They have seating next door inside the restaurant or you can just pick up to go. Service is amazing especially from the staff with the Virgin Mary tattoo on his arm. My friend and I came to do some cafe work in the morning. The service was phenomenal! They were so accommodating and nice to us. We sat in a nice cozy booth with enough space for all of our fixings. Their pistachio croissant was top notch and blew me away. I am not a big pistachio person, but this pistachio cream croissant was a good mix of sweetness and cream. It didn't taste like what artificial pistachio tastes like. The pistachio affogato was also amazing. This also blew me away with the perfect combo of coffee to nut to ice cream mix--great texture, good mix of sweetness and flavor. It's beautiful, gram-worthy but also tastes as good as it looks. The frittata is made fresh and helped us balance at all the sweet goodness we've been eating. I couldn't tell you more because I really remembered the pistachio affogato and croissant the most. I love this place and would go back again. It's beautiful. Thank goodness they have a mix of both savory and sweet breakfasts. This place is a beautiful cafe with a dine in restaurant connected inside. For the cafe portion, there's only bar seats and very tiny, maybe less than 10 seats so it's more of a "to-go" spot. There's plenty of pastries and they also serve real affogatos! Considering how overpriced each item is ($7 or so for each pastry), you are not getting your money's worth. We tried the lobster tail and pistachio danish. The lobster tail was extremely crispy, to the point where the crunch hurt both my husband and my palates. It was difficult to eat and overly baked. The custard was okay, but nothing mind blowing. Definitely not worth $8. The pistachio pastry was also lackluster. It did not have a strong pistachio flavor. The filling tasted somewhat stale and gluelike in consistency. Also not worth $8. I had actually also ordered a cannoli to try, but it seemed the worker did not hear this request. I didn't discover this until we left the establishment, and at first I thought we were overcharged, but I realized the $15 was for the two mediocre pastries above. We were disappointed to say the least, and I definitely don't think these pastries live up to their name. I would be hesitant to try other pastries at this point. read more

The entrance leads to the bakery with very limited seating. There was a long line that almost went out the door and to the left after entering is the entrance to their main dining area. There was no host at the time so we sat ourselves down and it took a while to flag down a waiter to take our order. Service was slow but since they're new, I suppose they're still trying to figure things out. Frittata and polenta, egg & mushroom were good but felt they were overpriced for the portion. The frittata was missing hot sauce and there weren't any condiments at the table. They did have Tabasco sauce but you need to flag someone down for it. Pistachio affogato was delicious. I'd get it again. Lobster tail pistachio was really crispy but I do wish it had a stronger pistachio flavor. They use a cream rather than a paste. I wouldn't mind it again. Although, I heard the pistachio croissant uses a paste so I'd probably try that next time. Berry French toast was pretty good. They were fluffy and not too sweet. I have been wanting to stop by since they opened. We had time today and decided to stop in and pick up some pastries and coffee. They were really busy but were able to keep up with the people. They may have to expand their cafe as there was not a lot of room to stand when the cafe got full for a bit. They also need signs that instruct you that you order pastries where they are and then drinks at the register. We were confused and felt chastised when we came in and were not ordering in the correct place. We ordered the almond croissant and cornetto con cream. The almond croissant is lacking in the almond flavor and I was disappointed because they are way higher than my normal place and theirs tastes better at a lower price. The cornetto con cream was just okay. The coffee drink I got was delicious, it was small but so good. it had a nice smooth taste. I got the Marocchino Freddo and added caramel to it. Visited Florentine Cafe today after discovering it on TikTok! The cafe is a little small, with about three tables and it's connected to Sgrizzi. They also offer brunch on the weekends. Despite the line being almost out the door on a Saturday afternoon, they still had a lot of pastries available, and the service was both quick and friendly. I ordered the pistachio lobster tail, Sfogliatella, La Charlotte cake, sea salt chocolate chip cookie, cannoli, and pistachio Affogato. My favorites were the pistachio lobster tail, Sfogliatella, and pistachio Affogato. The pastry dough is flaky with a nice crunch, and the filling isn't too sweet. They're fresh and honestly better than the ones I had in Italy! The pistachio gelato in the affogato was silky and creamy, while the espresso provided a nice bitter balance. Wonderful little cafe on the side of the larger restaurant. The staff was very sweet. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. The iced drink I got was called Marocchino Freddo and it was a strong creamy chocolate espresso drink. I enjoyed it but it's not for everyone. My husband got the caffe Del nonno and he said it was really good. We also tried the crookie, almond cornetto and pistachio lobster tail. They were all an absolute delight. As we were leaving the baker had just finished making these tiny almond type cookies and those were amazing. Before 10 AM they have pastries and coffee available, as I was there they were putting out the pastries and they all look so delicious! I decided going with a recommendation by the other barista. I didn't get her name, but she was also so sweet. She recommended a pistachio croissant and it is absolutely delicious! I also got the caffe shakerato also delicious and just what I needed to start my day l! Although I did not get an Affogato on this visit from prior visits, I just have to sneak my review for that as well, which is a 10 out of 10 if it's the right time and you're craving it recommend Affogato 100000% This is my third time coming to this location, both eating in the dining room and just coming to the café and I would recommend it over and over again. This is a very small pastry cafe attached in the front of an Italian restaurant. It's with only a love seat couch and a high table with 2 chairs. Most likely you will have to get and go. Really like their lobster tail pastry, the pistachio custard filling g is rich but not overwhelmingly creamy and greasy. The crunchiness of the lobster tail and Sfogliatella is surreal!! So good!! Maritozzi is another popular item here, but you can actually skip it, just bread and whipped cream. I have been in love with Freddo coffee since my trip in Greece. When I saw this on their menu, I had to get it. But it's nothing like what it is in Greece. It's just a pretty light latte here. I'm a bit disappointed with their coffee. But I saw other customers order the pistachio honey latte and their seasonal strawberry chocolate latte, both look really good. I will have to give their coffee another try! There are pastries and desserts in the display and all look so good. For drinks we ordered an iced vanilla latte and iced pistachio latte. For pastries we got the croissant and pistachio danish. Since the couch was open we decided to eat there. Our order was brought out to us. There is a station with water and utensils. I didn't ask and I wish I would have to see if our pastries could have been warmed up. But it was still good. Our drinks were good as well.
