Management reached out to me about my concerns regarding my recent visit. I really appreciated the email and the lack of excuses for what I encountered at the store. She was listened and hopefully there will be more staff training on customer service and food safety. We gave it another chance, but not the same store, and had a much better experience.

As a still-new resident of Arizona, I discovered Flower Child. It has become my favorite place to go to when I want "fast food" that's not fast food. If you know, you know. My go-to dishes are always the Mediterranean Chicken Kabob (without summer squash) or the Chicken Yakisoba Noodles. The food tastes delicious, clean and fulfilling, and I love their many healthy options to choose from. I have yet to try other dishes but I can't break away from my default dishes just yet. Oh but I can't forget to mention the Double Chocolate Almond Brownie--delicious! The staff is nice and the restaurant stays busy every day. If you want to enjoy dining in, visit during the weekday but if you must dine on the weekend, be prepared to wait a little bit. However, they serve fresh lemonade while waiting so it's worth it.

You can never go wrong with Flower Child! The food is always yummy and service is great! My go to is always the salmon entree with mashed potatoes and a vegetable of some sort. This last visit I ordered broccoli and it was SOOOOOO GOOD. It was flavorful and had a nice crisp to it. The employee who brought us our food was very cheerful and nice.

My go to is always the steak, mac and cheese, and veggies! You can never go wrong with this combination! The steak is always cooked perfectly, flavorful, and its always juicy. The mac and cheese is heaven sent and veggies are always crisp. Service is great. There is typically a line out the door but it definitely worth the wait!

Mashed potatoes & salmon. Though I had already finished the salmon. It was absolutely delicious.

The food here is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the salmon & mashed potatoes. Also do the outside seating if possible.

Great restaurant for a healthy clean boujee meal. I love making my own steak bowl with broccoli and corn and quinoa. It's definitely a little pricier but so good when you're craving it.

Food was pretty good! Had to wait a little bit but nothing too crazy. Their steak was a little dry but everything else in the bowl was super solid so I can't be mad. Would love to try some desserts here

I was looking for a new lunch spot to try and catch up with a friend and Flower Child did not disappoint! The restaurant is very pretty and aesthetic looking, perfect for a girls lunch (my favorite!). Not only was it pretty, but the food was delicious! I was craving something fresh and lemony so I decided to try their black bean falafel wrap- not something I would typically get but it has now become one of my favorite wraps! I usually crave a meat source of protein but the black bean falafel was perfect! The service was great, the line was a bit long but the cashiers kept it moving quickly! I had a few questions and the young girl who took my order was very nice and helpful. Once we sat down, the waiter brought out our food and came back a few other times to make sure we weren't missing anything or if we needed anything. We decided to sit outside since the inside was pretty full. They have great misters that kept us cool for the long time we were there in the middle of the summer day. I'll definitely be back here :)

I keep trying to come back and I'm most often disappointed. On September 30, I waited at the restaurant for my food (not a big deal, I waited outside since it was busy) and when I got home after about an hour or more, I was finally able to sit and eat as I'm currently still moving by myself. I found that I had mashed potatoes instead of mac & cheese so I called to let them know and they said they would refund me. They said it would be in my bank account by 3 to 5 business days and it's still not there. As I just checked. What a scam. I literally waited 20+ minutes for my food, it was "checked by Jared," but was obviously incorrect, and was told that I would receive a refund and did not. As of now, I have zero incentive to go back. The amount of times they've messed up is ridiculous. The food is good but it's not worth it if they're going to consistently mess up on your order, say they will make a positive resolution happen, and then not follow through - that's bad business ethics, especially when it's expensive.

My granddaughter and I enjoy this restaurant. There is a pleasant atmosphere and quick friendly service. We will keep returning...I'm sure.

Anytime I have the urge to eat something healthy but also satisfying when it comes to having somewhat of a sophisticated palate, Flower Child is definitely a go-to. I often dine here with my toddler as well as sometimes on my own on days where I don't feel like cooking. You can't go wrong with any of their bowls, salads and appetizers. When I wasn't pregnant, I also enjoyed their house-made sangria. Nowadays, a cup of their passion fruit black tea will do for me. Plenty of seating inside and out (even on super packed days like the weekends, their rotation is quite efficient and you shouldn't have to wait long to find a spot to sit). Customer service has always been quick and friendly as well.

This is the ad that was on my feed that the stranger manager thought I made using AI. Ridiculous.
    Ana M.

It was lunch time and an add for a BBQ Bulgogi Salad from Flower Child popped up on my feed. I have never been to this place but it's a mile from my house so I decided to go with my daughters because the salad looked delicious. Apparently, they have a system where, during the lunch rush, they have ONE cashier and you order your food up front. They gave you a number, and they bring you your food. I ordered a wrap and some noodles for my daughters and then the item I specifically came here for- the Bulgogi salad. The young girl upfront said that it's not being offered until tomorrow because tomorrow would be the "launch day" for that item. I asked if she was sure and if she could check with a manager. A manger came up and l showed her the salad ad that I screenshot. The manager, if she even was one, looked at it and said, "Actually, that doesn't even exist." I wasn't even sure what she meant by that so I explained the only reason we were here was because I wanted to try the salad that was being advertised. She said that she wasn't sure why I was showing her an old ad. I showed her I screenshot the pic of the salad and hour ago and showed her the timestamp. Then she said in a dismissive manner, "I have no idea why you're getting that. Is it AI?" What a ridiculous question. The whole interaction was upsetting because this manager made it so. The young girl at the register looked very upset and uncomfortable and I felt bad for her. Maybe someone with such a horrible attitude shouldn't be working with customers? Just a thought.

I really like Flower Child! They have such a cute interior and sitting area, varied choices for salad and bowl, and more! I got miso crunchy salad with steak, veggies were so fresh, steak was good enough for salad place, and the dressing was soooo yum! And I got to try their gluten free brownie and chocolate chip cookie, I am obsessed with those. Brownie definitely has almond flour flavor, but I kinda liked it though! Can't wait to come back :D

For an appetizer, we enjoyed their bread and butter, which was fantastic. The bread also came with olive oil and seasonings to dip it in, which was also very tasty. For dinner, I enjoyed their grilled cod with French and sweet potato fries, as well as coleslaw. I'm a huge pancake person, so I was excited to try the strawberry pancakes, but they were honestly disappointing. They were soggy, lacked any fluff, and had more of a cornbread texture than a pancake. The strawberry topping also wasn't very appetizing--it seemed like it was meant to be more of a sauce, but it didn't quite work. I completely understand that higher-end restaurants like to get creative with their dishes, but I think some basics like pancakes should still be done really well. It's so pillowy soft and the flaky sea salt perfectly compliments it. I ordered the Wise Decision cocktail, which was refreshing. For my entree, I had the shishito Caesar salad and was advised I could add a protein from their skewer selection of chicken, pork belly or oyster mushrooms. I asked the waitress about the chicken and she advised that they are smoked and will appear pink from that, so not to be alarmed, but are moist and really flavorful. While the filet was tempting (and what everyone else at my table ordered), I wanted something lighter. Thankfully I was not disappointed in my selection. The chicken was as delicious as described and could be cut with a fork. The Caesar salad was well dressed, but not soggy. Do I think it was worth the money to add the chicken? Not if I were paying, but since my company paid for it, I think it was worth it. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion.
