The utensils they use here are super heavy and the disposable napkins are extra thick. You order food and grab a number when you pay. They will deliver the food from the kitchen to your table. The food is somewhat average for the price that you pay. To that point. portions are fairly small. In the positive side, you'll find that they use fresh ingredients and provide plenary of dishes for those who are health conscious. LOVE Flower child. This restaurant offers a variety of healthy, filling options like salads, bowls, plates, lemonades, desserts, etc. I typically order the Brussel sprouts and organic kale salad + chicken + avocado (trust me- this salad is good). Last time I ventured into building my own bowl of chicken, roasted Brussel sprouts, and smashed gold potato.. SO good. The service was very fast (after ordering, less than 10 min), but this spot is always busy- so expect a little bit of a line to order. My mom and I came here on a Saturday for a late lunch date. When we arrived, it was about 12:45 and there was a line out the door to order. We waited about 20 minutes to actually order our food, but it was nice they had canopies over the line and a water stand. An employee asked people waiting in line how many were in their party and then would put a number on a table either inside or outside to reserve it for that group. I ordered the Cam's Power Meal and my mom ordered the Mother Earth Bowl. We chose to sit outside, and we didn't wait too long for the food to come out, as it was a little past the lunch rush. My mom and I both LOVED our entrees. My salmon was cooked perfectly, it was soft and buttery and fresh with just the tiniest bit of crisp on the edge. The roasted broccoli was also excellently flavored, and they still had a bite to them, not mushy at all. And the gluten free mac and cheese...you can't go wrong. My mom also loved her grain and veggie bowl and now wants to recreate it at home! My nephew recommended this spot and I was excited to see they have a bunch of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options! It's cafeteria style where you place your order at the counter, take a number to your table, and then they bring out your food. The space is pretty huge with plenty of seating inside and out on the patio. We came at 1pm on Memorial Day and found a table right away. I'm a super picky eater (did you see my profile tag? Lol) so it took me a while to decide on something, but I'm also grateful they are so accommodating and flexible. I was able to order the mother earth bowl with brown rice instead of the ancient grains (to make it GF), no mushrooms, and the lemon avocado dressing (GF & Sugar Free) instead of the red pepper miso vinaigrette. It was hearty and a delicious blend of flavors, and the dressing was light. Something had a little kick to it, but I couldn't tell if it was the dressing or one of the ingredients. It was subtle enough that I was able to finish the whole dish (which says something with how I don't tolerate spice). Hubby ordered the Rebel and a side of broccoli. He enjoyed the wrap. The horseradish yogurt made it sweet and tangy with a little kick and it complemented the flavors of everything else in the wrap. He loved how fresh it all was and how the wrap was multigrain and almost like a Naan with the thin doughy texture (rather than the typical flour tortilla style). He just kept saying it was really tasty. The side of broccoli was a little too salty (he thinks it was the parmesan breadcrumbs), but it was grilled well. Y'all I am SHOOK at how good this place is! I love a healthier option that still gives me flavor and I found it here. This is an order and sit down restaurant with a great vibe. The service was really nice and there was plenty of seating. I love that they have calories listed for everything for anyone counting calories. I ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly. Great spot for lunch! I stopped by Flower Child with my mom and we both really enjoyed our food. They have a simple menu with options like salads, bowls, wraps, and entrees. We decided on the Avocado Hummus appetizer, Thai Dye Wrap, and Grilled Chicken Thigh "Yaki" Noodles, and some lemonade & red sangria to drink. The hummus was delicious, very creamy and had a nice flavor. Would get again! My mom really enjoyed the wrap. I tried some and usually I'm not a fan of tofu, but this wrap was quite tasty. It came with a side of greens, it didn't taste like they had any dressing though. The noodles were good; I didn't like the chicken much as it was quite bland but the rest of the dish was flavorful. Super disappointed in this location. I've ordered take out twice and both times were a total miss. Tonight I ordered the salmon entree with cauliflower risotto and kale salad. $17. I received a child's size meal that looked totally unappetizing. The salmon was dry and couldn't have been more than 2oz in size and had no seasoning at all. The risotto and kale salad were just as small. I'm including pics. The kale salad was separate and didn't even cover 1/4 of my fork. Using Yelp's Surprise Me Feature, I discovered Flower Child and it has been the best discovery that Yelp could recommend me. I say that because not only did I not find any inconvenience to lower this rating, but it went above and beyond my expectations. Entering Flower Child, we saw the vast menu. Luckily, the clerk politely asked us to wait and we had enough time to decide our options. I ordered the steak with the golden potato and brown rice and my girlfriend ordered the Mac and Cheese with fresh fruit and a kale salad. We both ordered lemonade and a chocolate chip cookie. We got the lemonades and they were great. While waiting for our food, we shared a chocolate chip cookie and it's one of the best cookies I've ever eaten. After a few minutes have past, we already got our food and the food was such high quality. It was super delicious and the quality was so high that I felt like I was eating a nutritious healthy meal that tasted really good. Not only that, the pricing was great. I was very shocked at the price I paid for these meals in a good way. The quality of food was definitely worth the price. I've been to another Flower Child but this was my first time at this location. Props to the management for setting up a system to set up the people in line (out the door) with a table before they have even ordered. It was really nice to be able to order and then go sit down to wait for my food. Needless to say, it was packed for a Friday lunch crowd. The food is definitely worth there wait in line, though. For a restaurant that calls their food healthy and fresh, they do live up to the claim. And I love that their dishes are all very unique. They keep their menu fairly small but offer a good variety to meet all tastes. I'm not vegan, vegetarian, or paleo and I can still find things on the menu that meet my tastes. Their gluten-free free Mac and cheese has a really yummy cheese sauce and the Brussel sprouts are super tender. The Rebel wrap had finely chopped steak with a mild horseradish yogurt sauce. As it happened, I ate at Flower Child three nights in a row at different locations. The Singapore noodle dish was really good. It's a seasonal item. I'm a big fan of their family meals. I order them and then eat them over 3 or 4 days or get them when I invite friends to dinner. This location just opened. It's really big. It was very crowded and kind of noisy, but that's standard for all the Flower Child restaurants. I love their food, but their app really sucks. They just improved the app, and it does more but it's not at all intuitive. And just for reference, I'm very tech savvy and write app instructions for my job. So I'm not being overly critical. They recently did a promotion where you can buy a gift card and get a bonus card. You might have the gift cards loaded in your app but you can't use them as payment to order at the counter. As it happened, I had all the gift card numbers written down on a sheet of paper with the PIN numbers. The cashier tried to enter the gift cards, but they came up as invalid, having nothing on them, because they had already been added to the app. Finally, I just paid with a debit card because I didn't want to hold up the line. I've always found the Flower Child employees to be very sweet and accommodating, no exception here. A good experience, except for the gift card thing, which is beyond their control. read more

The same exact quality as the Scottsdale branch we tried two days ago. We ordered the same dishes, the chicken enchiladas bowl and the salmon entree. The only difference today was that my husband swapped the brussel sprouts for the cauliflower. Today, I ordered online while we were on our way to Flower Child so we can save some time. When we went to the Scottsdale branch, it was midday on a Thursday so I guess they weren't that busy, our food was ready in 10 minutes. Today, when I submitted my order, the app said the food will be ready exactly an hour later. We were there 10 minutes after I ordered. My husband decided to go in and let them Know we were waiting. The food took exactly 50 minutes to be ready, which was a little too long for us. Everything was delicious though. I devoured my bowl in 5 minutes, again, in the car! My advice for customers, do account for some wait time on a busy evening like Saturday. They are so popular for both dine in and take out! Some additional pluses, their patio looks so nice and inviting, we will try it next time & the service we received was still friendly despite how busy they were. This is a must try healthy eatery. The menu has so many options for everyone. They also serve beer and wine and some other really tasty drinks. The outside of the restaurant looks almost like a greenhouse and the ambiance of the inside is very hip and inviting. This would make the perfect spot for a girls brunch or even a date.
