Food comes first for me. I'm usually not a fan of healthy eats like this because they tend to be pricier (just personal preference), but the food was good. I ordered Mother's Earth bowl which has quinoa, some small arugula?, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, I think pesto, and a small cucumber salad. My friends got the enchilada and wrap which they both really enjoyed as well. The kombucha was very good it was their seasonal passion fruit. Slightly sweeter kombucha taste which I was a fan of. Very tasty. Overall food was really tasty and not too long of a wait on a Sunday afternoon. However, the only issue I have are the portion sizes. That's more of a personal thing though like I said regarding healthier eateries. Keep that in mind if you're really hungry you might not get too full here getting a bowl. Flower Child is a go to!!! I've tried many things on the menu and love it all. Their Cobb salad is so fresh and unique. I often get the chicken plate with Mac and cheese and red chili glazed sweet potato.... Such amazing flavors, I highly recommend! They have my favorite iced green tea and their chicken enchiladas are some of the best I've ever had. My only issue is this location is consistently late when you order for pick up. I would say the last 5 times we have shown up at our pick up time and the food has not been ready. The employees acknowledge it's late but don't seem to care. This was a delicious find! We stood in a line out the door for about 20 minutes and it was worth the wait. Super clean brightly lit friendly place. We ordered some team lunch on door dash. I wanted to try the grilled chicken yaki noodles with some extra avocado on the side. It was about $19. The food arrived fresh, warm and absolutely colorful. The flavors tasted great, loved the sauce, veggies and the noodles. My complain is the food quantity and avocado. The extra avocado costed $4 but the quantity provided was barely half an avocado. I understand that the charges for the fresh tasting bowl but it's the quantity which didn't work for me. Wife wanted a healthy lunch option and we came across this place on a Friday at 12:30pm. It was pretty busy, but the line moved somewhat quickly. Ordering was very easy and the very kind cashier (with the English accent) made our first time even more pleasant. I met a coworker here for lunch and loved it! It's a fast casual restaurant with fresh amazing food! You order at the counter and then grab your number and find a seat. I ordered a chopped vegetable salad and added chicken. Their patio seating was perfect and super comfortable. The food came to our table pretty quickly and I dug in. We came here for my friends birthday dinner. The place was pretty busy, which I see as a promising sign! The building was clean (including the bathrooms) and tables were cleared off quickly. Love coming to a restaurant that allows a whole track team to jump the line in front of a line of 6 or 7 people. These were just the last of them to join. There were around 20. I said something to the kids and they ignored me making snide comments like "I'm hungry" and continued. The people who work here also said nothing and let them order. No apologies to the people had been waiting, nothing, acted like nothing happened. If I didn't have a to-go order for my son already I would have left. Waited 20 mins to order my own. Edit: let's cap this off with they ran out of the food I ordered before I got it. So I left without eating. At that point I wasn't staying. Edit: Manager came back with 1 of 3 portions of what I ordered. So the kid will have something to eat. One of the couples in front of me came back and their order was off and there was no more of what they wanted either. What a mess. The manager was nice enough and in the end I now have a refund but overall now I'm leaving to go to the next place and it was just too late at that point. Just a miserable experience. Complete lack of management! Food quality is amazing when it's good but at least 20 percent of the time it is HORRIBLE! I am a Flower Child, isn't something that I've been accused of ............ but now I think I can be converted. We did a phone order, and brought it home. When we opened the containers the aromas were amazing. The Teriyaki Shrimp and Avocado's shrimp were quite tender and plentiful. Also there was a good mix of veggies that were still crunchy. The Teriyaki sauce was rich and not overpoweringly sweet. The Chicken Plate is served as a cold dish. Not what I expected. The overall flavor was very herby, and heavy on the dill seasoning. It has good, but had a very unique flavor. While everything was cooked well, it was still moist and had a hint of smoke to it from the grilled veggies. The Sweet Corn & Quinoa had good flavor, was velvety and still had a good chew to it. I'd compare this it a healthy version of creamed corn. It was nice side dish to compliment a main meal. The chocolate chip cookie was on par with other large cookies. Their lemon cake is more like a cup cake, see pic. It had the usual lemon flavor and glaze on top was very appropriate for this dessert. I used to love this location because I loved Desert Ridge Market Place.However, last time I was there, I ordered my usual salmon entree with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, the salmon was plain, the mashed potatoes were too salty and the macaroni and cheese was disappointing. The food items that didn't change was the lemon cup cakes and gf chocolate cookies. I think Flower Child changed chef's, it's not the same I have been eating Flowers Child for eight years and I also been to most of locations. Wow. First time eating here today. Ordered the Mother Earth bowl with chicken. Everything tasted so fresh and made well. It tasted like it was made with love, which I think is mighty difficult to achieve. You could taste all of the ingredients separately, but together they were all better.
