Disappointing to say the least. I think the servers try hard and are friendly. Training, systems and management are absolutely in doubt. There was 6 of us at the table. They brought 4 of the cheese rolls, 3 corn sticks, 3 fried plantains and a small ( half plate and congealed) order of mashed potatoes. Never said what anything was and we had to ask for an explanation. We looked at each other like can they count. I thought they would bring more but nope. We had to ask. Server never asked us if we wanted drink refills. As for the meats we had the Best of Brazil special which doesn't include "premium" cuts but it seemed like there was no choice. They brought out tiny chicken legs and the fried cheese lime 5 or 6 times. Picanha had to be requested. We were there over an hour and a lamb chop showed up and I kids you not we were wrapping up after almost 2 hours and woman came around with sausage!! The food was ok. The bill with tax and tip was $70. Nothing about the meal was a $70 meal. Not the food, not the service, nothing. Everyone seemed young and I have to say poorly trained. read more

OMG! What a great way to spend my birthday! I read some not so great reviews for this particular place as they've only been open for 3 weeks but I thought I'd give them a shot. I'm really glad we did. First, I made a reservation on Open Table because I heard that it's very hard or impossible to get in without one. We arrived a few minutes earlier than our reservation and we were the 4th party waiting in the entrance. We were seated just a few minutes after our time but that's all good. A young guy, Max greeted us and asked us what kind of water we would like and said he'd be back with it. We were waiting a few minutes and another gentleman asked us if anyone had greeted us yet. We told him about Max and he said don't worry I'll take care of you. The new server's name was Youseff and he was wonderful. He took care of us all night as well as the rest of the staff. Someone was always filling our glasses and asking if we wanted any more of the sides and such. My father and I ordered the Rodizio while my boyfriend ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. We all enjoyed ourselves at the market table. I made a great salad using the basil dressing which was sooooo good. I wished I could have bottled it up and taken it home with me. My boyfriend loved the selection of olives on the bar and the exotic fruits. The staff coming around with the different meats were always so nice and they definitely came in good time throughout the night. I have to say I loved the lamb chops the best and the bottom round roast was quite tasty. My boyfriend said that his fish was the BEST fish he has ever had in his life and will definitely come back and order it again. He took home some as leftovers and said it was even better this morning. We told our server that it was my birthday, no lie, and he gave us a dessert on the house. I chose the key lime pie. So much food! I could have been fine with just the salad bar. Celebrated my birthday here with a group of 10. The Churrasco Experience is epic. Hosted seated us in dining room as we are walking to table you see food all over the floor everywhere just very dirty . Next comes the food and drink ordered an old fashioned 19 bucks !! Grab a plate and go to the salad bar , plattters are mostly empty and what's in them is barely looking edible . They have a bowl of corn which I took a scoop of tastes like it was right out of a can and dumped in the bowl was awful . Ordered the rodizio , food starts coming over , the guy with honey cheeses squares visits 10 times which I guess is good even though I said no everytime . The meat starts to come over and most of the cuts are down to there last slice , every piece I took was so overly salted that I could barely eat them not one cut of meat was good mostly overcooked and very tough . For the price you pay you should be getting quality meat not choice cuts laden with salt to disguise subpar taste . After this exp I will cross this overpriced underwhelming restaurant off the list . My boyfriend and I visited this recently opened location within the Bridgewater mall. We went on an early weekend afternoon for their All-Day Happy Hour and although I was originally concerned since I wasn't able to make a reservation, there were plenty of open tables and we were seated at the bar. We ordered the passion fruit caipirinha, medium picanha burger, crispy parmesan polenta fries, lobster and shrimp tacos, and saucy legs. One of the highlights of the meal was the complimentary cheese bread which was light and delicious. The cocktail was also pretty good and relatively strong. The saucy legs were very flavorful and as with all the dishes, was presented nicely on a wooden slab. I was also a fan of the burger, which was cooked to my preference and good for the happy hour price. The polenta fries did not meet my expectations as they were hard, bland, and I honestly would have preferred normal french fries. The lobster and shrimp tacos were refreshing, but were lacking in sauce and flavor, and would probably have tasted better in a tortilla. However, I loved the ambiance and environment of the restaurant which gave the impression of high-end dining. The bartenders and servers were also very nice and hospitable. read more

4.5 First time at Fogo De Chão and it didn't disappoint. I've been to many different Rodizios, Fenandez Steakhouse, IBerias, Texas De Brazil and a few more that don't exist today. I was here with my brother in law and my sister. The service was outstanding Kevin and Daniel took care of our table. They were there for any service we needed. The Rodizio was really good and fast service for it also. For those that complain, why are they so on top of you. Rodizio is not for you. That means you can't hang. Just a footnote, you can refuse what you do not choose to eat. It was nice to have Ashley the customer service rep come around and make sure we were happy with our experience. The place is new and I expected a hiccup or two. The 4.5 was due to the seating area and seat not being clean. It was addressed. But they need to keep a better eye on it before seating anyone. Will be definitely be coming back with customers. Basically.Good spot to enjoy a lunch or a dinner. read more

Well, a Vanessa called after I added the comment below and left a voicemail. I called back asking for Vanessa and was put on hold with their awful music for almost 30 minutes. When someone finally came on, I asked if she's Vanessa and she told me she just left. Why didn't they just tell me she's unavailable and to leave a message or call back instead of making me wait for almost 30 minutes for no one to talk to. This place is a joke and every interaction gets worse. You can't make this stuff up. ------ Seems the responses from whoever is responding is lip service. The restaurant is still a work in progress. Very disorganized from waitress who you barely saw, servers who kept bringing around same food. Appetizer station, that had cheese trays empty, waiting to be replenished. For $72 a person, I would expect all the beef carvings, not just chicken, pork and lamb. 2 small sides that were never replenished bc no one overseeing the table. 8 people got 1 potato stick and 6 slices of plantain for all 8 people which means some people didn't receive any.2 tiny trays of mashed potatoes. Way overpriced for what you get. Then they would come around with one or two pieces of meat on the stick, not enough for whole table and then disappear. So only a few got to taste that item. I rarely leave reviews, but our experience at this restaurant was so terrible that I feel obligated to warn others. From start to finish, the entire evening was a disaster. We made a reservation for 7:30 PM on Saturday, May 3rd, checked in at 7pm but were not seated until 8:00 PM. The host consistently seated other parties who arrived after us, completely disregarding our reservation. When I asked about the delay, I was rudely told to wait. It wasn't until my friend confronted the manager that we were finally seated. Our server was unprofessional and unhelpful from the start. He actively discouraged us from ordering fish, claiming it would take over an hour, and convinced us to order the full meat experience instead. Throughout the meal, he continuously hovered and hinted that we should leave, even though other tables were clearly finished eating and just chatting. The restaurant wasn't even full, so there was absolutely no reason to rush us. Service was beyond inadequate. We had to track down other staff members just to get basic things like water refills and proper meat cuts only served 4 out of the 14 cuts stated on the menu. One of the primary draws of a Brazilian steakhouse is the constant flow of meats, but here it was completely chaotic. At one point, the service stopped entirely for over 30 minutes (while he sat in a corner and look at our table and laughed with another staff member) forcing us to hunt down staff just to resume the meal. When the meat did come around, they skipped our table entirely, showing an utter lack of organization and professionalism. When the meats finally arrived, they were a complete disappointment, fatty, low-quality cuts with almost no variety. The side dishes were tiny, poorly prepared, and seemed like an afterthought. It was clear that no effort was put into making them enjoyable or even sufficient. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, they finally brought out slightly better cuts. At that point, we were fed up and just wanted to take what was on our plates and leave. Shockingly, they refused to let us take the remaining food home. We waited so long for an answer that flies started landing on our plates, absolutely disgusting and completely unsanitary. The staff's attitude made it clear they couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The poor service, lack of hospitality, subpar food quality, and blatant disregard for cleanliness made it a complete waste of money. My girlfriend wanted to try happy hour and found that Fogo de Chão offers this. She saw that there were no reservations left for a Saturday afternoon, so we went without one, hoping they would have seats. Once we arrived, we asked if we could sit at the bar, and they said we could. They asked for our IDs twice since we looked "so young," as they said. Once we got the menu, we ordered four different dishes: the Saucy Legs, Crispy Parmesan Polenta Fries, Lobster and Shrimp Tacos, and the Picanha Burger. The Saucy Legs were really good, and I enjoyed them a lot. The Lobster and Shrimp Tacos were alright; I didn't read the menu right and saw it was on a napa cabbage wrap, which I did not like, but I should've read that before ordering. My girlfriend liked her burger as well. The fries were also pretty good, but I did not like how hard they were. They were very crispy, though, which I did like. I've been waiting for the opening of this restaurant, it's in a great, easily accessible area with plenty of parking which is a plus. From beginning to the end, everyone we came in contact with were so pleasant and attentive. It's a great scene for the area, with beautiful decor and amazing food. I'm not a meat eater and wasn't all that hungry as we arrived late for the area but again the restaurant was busy and everyone worked swiftly and kindly. We ordered cocktails and happy hour entrees. I loved the polenta fries, lobster and ceviche tacos, hummus and ribs entree!! Family multiple birthdays dinner for 5 people plus 2 very young toddlers. Paid $71 pp for the full Churasco dinner, children under 6 yo were free. Website lists a whole bunch of different meats & cuts included. Will start by saying the service was excellent, so this is no reflection on the waitstaff. Restaurant is pretty and lovely atmosphere. They offered a peach memosa type cocktail when you sat down, which was a nice touch. Cheesy rolls were delicious! Did take a half hour to get a baby seat so be aware if you go with young children. Food was good, although some cuts we had were chewy & tough. Included market bar where you HAD to got to get your dinner plate was okay, but average offerings to make you full before you got started. Non-existent fish offerings except smoked salmon, which might have been a nice contrast to all the meat. They constantly offered shrimp cocktail going around on a tray, but were not told that was not included in the Churasco experience and had to ask the server who made a face when she told me it was like $17 extra!! It was all too transparent that they kept coming around to push the cheaper stuff: chicken thighs, chicken legs, bacon wrapped chicken, chorizo. The chicken was excellent, but not what we came for at that price. The sirloins were mixed. Some tasty, some bland, some tender, some grissly. Hit or miss. What we did come for were sparsely offered...bacon wrapped small filet came around once. Never got the "filet mignon"specifically listed on the website. There was a cut we couldn't understand the name of, but it was like a delicious buttery spiced skirt steak. Small piece then couldn't get it again. We asked throughout the meal for the Ribeye, being told it would be out in 5 minutes over & over again. It wasn't until multiple tables kept asking that they brought it out at the end of our meal. It was over the top delicious, but we had one small slice, then requested more. When we were full & finished with our meals, it showed up again. One last note, there was a table for two stuffed in the corner, that must have been someone's relative or food critic. Every bit of food blatantly went straight to them, and they immediately got everything requested, including cuts we never saw. Management needs to take note of these comments. Overall a mixed experience that would take it off my list at that price. Last year we did a local independent Churasco place. Fogo De Chao has a menu that boasts of 15 delicious meats in their $70 Churrasco Experience, however don't be surprised if you only "experience" the same 6 meats on rotation. The atmosphere is contemporary with great ambiance but the overall experience left us hungry for more. The most memorable part of our visit, was the 23 minutes we waited for a cold espresso and the 35 minutes we waited for a lava cake after they ran out of their signature "cheesecake brulle" by 8:28pm. During this wait, not 1 of our 3 servers offered us an update, instead we had to inquire ourselves on 3 separate occasions. We asked for our check at 8:55pm at which time our dessert was still not out. When the dessert was finally brought out, we asked to speak to a manager. The man who brought out our dessert advised he was a manager and apologized for the long wait. That's it. It was at that point that I asked for a refund on the dessert items or a credit towards our next dining experience for our time and patience. Reluctantly, he agreed to revise our bill which we considered satisfactory. Overall the restaurant has a great location and great potential once some more kinks are worked out. We were a party of 3 adults tonight on 3/13/25 with a 2-year old. We asked for a plate of fries for the 2 year old immediately to occupy him. Never came. Food came to the table before water. Server completely forgot my wife's drink. Lobster and shrimp app were a little overcooked and rubbery. My wife's sea bass entree was slightly undercooked. Table never cleaned between courses. No fresh, clean plate ever offered. Very busy restaurant, but food service noticeably slow because of it. I would say 50% of Churrasco meats were delicious, 25% decent and 25% slightly overcooked, but those still tasted good. Tomahawk was good with good presentation. Asked to take leftovers home. Server came back with boxes and a bag. Just my food order alone was $220. I felt having to pack my own leftovers was the worst, most insulting thing I've had happen in a restaurant at that price point. However I'm more than capable of doing it, I'm not above it, so I did it. Desert order took forever and I ordered a cappuccino. Finished the desert and still no cappuccino. Long time passes. Had to flag down some other server for the check. Cappuccino still on bill. Server says they'll go get it real quick from the bar if it's up. Had to flag them down again and asked for it to go. On our arrival with a reservation we were told we had to wait 10-15 extra because they said they were changing our table to something more comfortable? When it was time for the Rodizio no one had brought us any plates to out table so they would come to the table with food and walk the other direction even though we had our cards flipped to green. We had to ask for plates to be brought to our table. Then when the meat started coming we realized we had never been given forks so we had to face nd someone to bring us forks as well. A couple of times waiters tried to bring us food for another table and then drinks for another table. Overall, the food tastes very good, it was most of a staff disorganization that I ended up taking a star away. High hopes turned into an expensive mistake. On a recent Saturday evening two carnivorous friends and I ventured out to partake in the time-honored tradition of eating various meats masterfully sliced off a skewer tableside. Upon being shown to our table and greeted by our waiter we were asked if we would like anything from the bar. I asked for a specialty cocktail from the menu called the Cucumber Mint Smash which was made with Tito's vodka, muddled cucumber, fresh mint, and lime. I was informed by our waiter that they were out of cucumber.... This is 6:30 on a Saturday night mind you. Ok fine, I will take it without the cucumber. No dice. I was told that wasn't possible. Dumbfounded I quickly pivoted and order a Hendrick's Rickey. A simple refreshing drink comprised of gin, soda water and lime juice. The waiter looks at me blank faced. After some fruitless back and forth with me trying to explain the drink, I tell him to just ask the bartender, they will know. Heck, the drink has been around since the 1800s. Wrong. Ten minutes later I am presented with a beverage which is brown. I am excitedly informed it's my Rickey with extra soda (Cola!). I whip out my phone and show the waiter the ingredients for the drink. He tells me there wasn't a button on the tablet to enter the drink, so it got messed up.... Throughout this insanity we are fighting off several gnats that have invaded our table and don't leave for the duration of the night. 10 minutes later I finally received the most watered-down cocktail I ever had the pleasure to pay for. Time to order our food. After some awkward back and forth about the merits of getting the regular churrasco versus the Indulgent Churrasco, we still aren't clear if he was trying to dissuade us from shelling out the extra money, we all decide to go with the Indulgent Churrasco which included a butter bathed lobster tail, and dessert, at $92.00 per person. Included in the price is also unlimited trips to the Market Table. As fate would have it someone in our party is a cheese monger and upon biting into the cheese labeled "smoked provolone" he announced it was actually Manchego. The rest of the Market Table was underwhelming, giving off major cruise ship vibes. We flipped our discs from red to green signaling we were ready to be descended upon by the gaucho chefs and their various meats. And descend they did, fast and furiously. Sometimes even flipping your disc back to red did not stop the onslaught. The meats were fine, nothing that necessarily excited us or stood out. The better cuts did not seem to come around as often as the cheaper cuts, and even when you specifically asked for something, as we were encouraged to do, it still didn't appear. After throwing in the towel on the meats we were asked if we wanted any coffee with our desserts. "I'd love a cappuccino" said someone in our party. "So sorry, we are out of cappuccino..." he was told.....6:30 reservation on a Saturday night. As luck would have it once the check came the gnats took their leave. Needless to the say for the price, service, and ambiance, had the pleasure of staring at the T-Mobile store for 90 minutes through the window that looks into the mall, we won't be returning. read more

Lamb and steak were consistently served rare when multiple requests were placed for a more well done cut. We repeatedly received the same offerings while several options (included in the menu) were never offered. Service by the majority of staff was lackluster, as our original waitress only made her way back to our table when we could finally catch her attention. We had to request our check five times before finally receiving it. Regular menu options are extremely limited, and not worth the cost. I love it here. Hands down, I absolutely love it here. This is some of the best meat that's ever graced my mouth (II). Every single cut of meat...beef, chicken or pork, is some of the most succulent, juicy, well seasoned, finely cooked meat you will ever have in your life. It's busy as hell in here and rightly so, but my drinks...oh, they were DRANKS. The service? Top tier. The staff's attentiveness? On point. I have not one complaint nor suggestion other than that you stop reading and get here and experience it for yourselves if you haven't already. Saturday Dec. 7th was our first time trying this restaurant and we were excited that this style steakhouse was in our area. unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded. Unlike some people we know dinning at the restaurant that evening that waited an hour to be seated with reservations, we did not have to wait long for our table around 15 minutes after we checked in for our 7:30 reservation. The bartenders were friendly and quick to take our order. That was the only good service we received for the rest of the night. We waited roughly 20 minutes before we had to tap on the server's shoulder (after the third time he was at the table next to us) to be acknowledged. The server was apologetic and gave us a bottle of water "on him", he was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. After we visited the market table and were ready for the Gautcho's to bring on the meat, we waited another 20+ minutes before another server noticed our card were green and no one had been to out table. It was also at that point we realized that our server never brought roles to our table. Not a big deal, but a miss by the staff. The food was very good (at little salty but very tasty), we did not get offered all the options listed on the menu (they may have been out of them it was a busy Saturday night, but that should have been something the server should tell guest) or just another miss by the staff. If that was enough to make our experience less then ideal, it took another 20+ minutes for me to get a glass of wine (supposedly the bar ran out of wine glasses). But wait there is more! we moved on to after dinner drinks, espresso and hot tea (simple right), not here, the server forgot the sugar caddy and when he drops one off and quickly walks away, no regular sugar! By time he brought regular sugar, my wife's tea was cold and he had to bring a new cup. With all that happened, the thing that frustrated me the most (having working in the industry) was the fact there were four (4) managers working and not one of them were doing table visit, not just to our table but I did not see them do a single hospitably visit to any table in the 3 hours we were there. Drink was good. Bar bites were good however the hostess was rude and not welcoming whatsoever. I could feel the snobby attitude as soon as I walked in. I came in for what I wanted was a lunch. It was not so busy which is my intention why I came during the day instead of at night. I did not want to be seated around what was very annoyingly crowded in the back or the back of the restaurant. It was just myself dining in. So the hostess says to sit at bar and the tables in front weren't available. Strange because there were plenty of empty tables right in the beginning of the restaurant. It was not such a hard accommodation. Anyways at the bar you can't order any food. Only bar snacks and drinks that they have specifically at the bar menu. P.S - I guess that Gucci belt must be too tight on you and that's what caused your frustration. read more

I've been to other Fogo's and this is the worst experience of any Brazilian I've been to. I overheard our waiter mention he was one of two on this day but the number of times we were skipped was enough for the manager to notice and apologize. The food that did come was heavy on lamb and chicken. When requesting specifically the filet and ribeye they did not come. The pork was under and pink, the meat was over and dry. I maybe had 5-6 pieces of meat for $71! Even trying to get the check and step out took over 20 minutes. 2 hr experience, not worth it, will not be coming back. Avoid this location. read more

The service at this place is embarrassing. Extremely slow and no one looks like they have a clue what they're doing. Last night was my third time there and it has just gotten worse. If this place doesn't get new management, it won't last sadly. If you want steak, go somewhere else. read more

This location has been a favorite spot for outings with some of friends ever since it opened. The highlight for me has consistently been the market table, and I appreciate the variety of meats that are offered--and the market table is fantastic. That said, the service leaves a lot to be desired. First, the drink service is terrible. There have been many occasions where I've ordered drinks that were never brought to the table until I asked for them again. I've also sat at the bar and noticed that at least on some occasions, the bartender is operating a bar, making drinks for the diners in the main room, and functioning as a barback, having to leave the bar to get glasses and silverware. If they don't have a bar manager, they need one, and if they do have one, that manager needs to be taught to understand that there's more involved in running a bar area and drink service than just having a bartender. This is by far the worst aspect of this location. Second, the table service is suboptimal. We most frequently go around the brunch hours on the weekend. Getting a server's attention is always a Herculean task, and so, we often have to pull a random server just to get a water refill or a drinks order (or to ask for someone to bring the drinks that we've already ordered). Lastly, and this is a particular event that irked me recently. Fogo hosted a Bourbon & Steak event, which was a nice idea as a concept, but it was completely wrecked by the same service issues. First, we were seated outside, where it was freezing and the rain clouds gathered. My table of 4 ordered four neat pours of bourbons. We waited 30 minutes before those bourbons made it our way, and when they did, they were on the rocks. Then it started raining. It doesn't seem like there was a backup plan, so we just wandered back inside and grabbed a table. We then ordered old fashioneds, which were the most sugary old fashioneds I've ever had. The bartender was struggling to keep up with all the drink orders and a manager was standing next to him for at least 10 minutes on her phone, doing nothing. The steak finally made it out, and we were only able to get essentially scraps before someone started walking around and handing people their tabs; then we had to sit for another 20 minutes for someone to come and take them from us. After all that, and 60 bucks later, we made it over to Cheesecake Factory to finally get decent food and drinks. If the goal of this event was to market the location, I suspect that any first-time visitor would never come back. Despite all the shortcomings, I'm not going to say "never again," because the food sort of makes it worth it. The place seriously needs to improve but through all the time I've been going there (at least 5 times, if not more), I've seen no progress whatsoever. read more

Bar food very good, drink service at bar is lame, I have been to this location 6 times and every time, service at the bar deteriorates. My family was in N J this weekend from Virginia and they on Saturday were the only 3 at the bar and they finally cancelled there last drink order because the bartender was oblivious. BTW lately everyone I have spoke to, feels your management needs a looking into, and some of your bartenders are completely incompetent. read more
