When I notified the staff member who was making the salads, she replaced a part of the salad instead of remaking it and continued using the same gloves afterward. I clarified that fly was one more than that one spot and asked for a new salad please. She appeared visibly frustrated. I did not mind waiting until the person behind me was finished being helped, especially since she was the only other person in line. As someone who has worked in the food industry, I understand that situations like this can happen. However, proper food safety protocol would require discarding the contaminated item and changing gloves before preparing new food. This was not done. While remaking the salad, she whispered to a coworker, who then looked at me and laughed. That really topped of my experience. So my question is would you want to eat that salad?

Our favorites were the Spicy Basil (pad krapow) and Mom's Sausage (sai oua). The pad krapow comes with ground meat, as it should, and has that savory, spicy, fragrant flavor I look for. Mom's Sausage is incredibly flavorful and definitely worth ordering. The Pad Mama is another standout. It's a simple Thai comfort dish made with instant noodles, but they do it perfectly. And don't skip the mango sticky rice! The sticky rice was warm, soft, and pillowy, and the mango was perfectly ripe. Everyone here is super friendly too. The interior is cute, creative, and full of little details that show how much thought went into the place. They even play Thai country music in the background. One tip for first-timers: when you arrive, grab a menu from the check-in spot outside the restaurant, to the left of the dining area. Then head into the dining area and they'll seat you.
