After lunch with my sis & bro, we stopped by here for a pick-me-up. Was able to grab a parking spot in the lot. Place feels a bit awkward; like a former office. Decor is simple, minimal and white walls. Definitely didn't feel warm & cozy nor hip & cool. Many people were working, so we opted to get our drinks to go. Sis thought the barista was being sassy towards her. However, bro noticed that the two co-workers appeared to be fighting. I was in my own world, cuz I noticed nothing; was more interested perusing the walls & mugs. I ordered a chai tea latte. It was only okay. Seems like a good place to work. read more

After a morning at the Rose Bowl Flea, the boyfriend and I stopped off for coffee. Sounds like some hipster couple shit and yeah, it is. Not making any excuses here. I love thrifting and I love coffee. It was easy finding a spot in the shared parking lot. There was also plenty of parking along Colorado. Inside was a cool vibe. I love the minimalist feel to it. The cafe was buzzing, but there were a few empty tables. The girl at the register was sweet and helpful. The menu is small, but I can appreciate coffee snobbery. I got the bourbon vanilla latte with almond milk and the boyfriend got the cold brew. There were a few items in the pastry case, but I spotted ube brownie and nearly lost my shit. We sat at one of the reclaimed wooden tables with high stools. The bathroom was spacious and clean and my latte was served up quickly. The boyfriend's drink was good and strong and everything you would want from a cold brew. The latte was pretty, creamy and delicious. Housemade vanilla provided the perfect amount of sweetness; almond milk was frothed to perfection. The ube brownie was dense and moist and a lovely dark purple shade from the mix of cocoa and ube. Overall, it was the perfect way to spend with my favorite person. I will be making more excuses to come back. read more

Parking: There is a small lot, but if it is ever full, you can park in the neighborhood with much ease. Get the Vanilla Bourbon Latte if you're a fan of lattes. Otherwise, their cold brew is always solid. The interior is very cool, the baristas are super friendly and there is WiFi! All around a very solid place to get a drink, study or relax with friends. read more

How cute is this place? Lots of seating and a PARKING LOT ! They even have some gluten free & vegan sweet treats as well as cold pressed juices if you're not feeling coffee. (I don't know why anyone would NOT be feeling an incredibly delicious cup of steaming hot richness) They even use califia farms almond milk which is SO CREAMY AND DECADENT. A great cup without the hipster barista rudeness. read more

I found coffee! Chances are if I am out and about and it is before 11 am at least part of my attention is looking for coffee. As it was later in the day and I opted for decaf (I do like to sleep on occasion) and I was mostly there for an afternoon snack. I had a nice cookie for the snack and a decaf Americano. I'm hoping for a better coffee the next time and the urge to round up my review. It was a weak pull for some reason and then poured into a lot of hot water - so a very weak and watery decaf. read more

Been back 3 times this week. Seems to be the only cafe where I can find a spot and get some work done without having to get there early. I'm sure ppl will catch on and start using it as their personal office but that's inevitable. Prob smart they do not offer hot food so that ppl leave when they get too hungry. Good riddance! A spot for me. I've tried the bourbon vanilla latte and almond milk iced latte (my usual) along with 3 diff kinds of pastries. All very good. Will be back...tomorrow. Just came in for the first time today and it was a hit with me! Wish this was here back when I was still living in the area! Let me describe to you my experience: Located in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Northeast Los Angeles. Just off the 134, it's located on busy, busy Colorado Boulevard. Despite being on such a busy and open street, I had some trouble finding it. If you're coming from the west, your GPS may tell you to go past it and U-turn. Not necessary! Just turn left onto Eagle Vista Drive and it will be on your right! Parking lot was full, but there was plenty of street parking around the corner. Came in at around noon on Sunday. There was a surprisingly good amount of seats available for the time, which is great because I love to snooze on Sunday mornings before tackling all the work I've put off over the weekend. And speaking of work, this place is a great work space. Not too loud; just a light hum of casual conversation, in my opinion the perfect white noise for productivity. Large, sturdy, wooden tables in a very well-lit space! Tons of natural light complement the white walls and simple decor and make the blue seats shine for a refreshing pop of color. I had the Bourbon Vanilla Latte over ice. Subtle. Sweet. But still has a kick to get your gears goin'. Served in a mason jar. Vanilla is made in-house. Barista was super friendly and helpful with the menu. read more

Found, I love you and am so happy you're here. When we planned our move to Eagle Rock one of the first things we noted was how close we would be to a great shop. My morning routine pre-move was based around walking to our old neighborhood shop with my now-passed pup, so the sting of losing him is still fresh but I've begun venturing out for morning coffee walks again in his memory. I think he would have loved Found, we see many a pup waiting for their humans outside while we wait in the socially distanced line. The first time we came here was a few years back and we saw the owner of another favorite shop having a drink, since then we realized he and Annie worked at Demitasse together. Annie is the coolest and she'll often be the one greeting you at the register. Found sources great beans from roasters like Demitasse and, more recently, Prospect! I recommend grabbing a bag from Prospect to bring home next time you're in need of some beans. Everything is good from an oat vanilla latte to a spro, the baristas are on point, and yes you should get that pastry that looks yummy. Because it is- special shout-out to the bombolinis. Don't forget to tip 20%+ to thank your baristas during a tough year! read more

I was excited to discover another coffee place closeby! The decor is cute on the inside. Love the fact that they have plenty of parking in the lot. The girl at the register was friendly. They had some unique savory and sweet pastries that looked/sounded yummy, but I was too full to try something. It was my first visit and I wanted an iced drink. The girl recommended the Iced Vanilla Latte for $4.75. I have to say that the latte was smooth and nicely balanced but I felt like maybe it had too much milk in it. I don't think it was worth almost $5. I was disappointed because I had higher expectations after reading some Yelp reviews. If I'm ever in the area, I may give them another try. read more

I stumbled upon this coffee shop today and was pleasantly surprised by the minimalist decor and the focus on the coffee itself. None of that burnt acidic taste at Starbucks. Yuck! I think the best part was how friendly the workers were. Everyone was so happy and greeted me upon entrance and exiting. The only other place I remembered anyone doing that was in Japan. Ordered the chai and my friend ordered a cold brew. We were both happy to feel the buzz of the coffee. No watered down sludge, no burnt taste. Will return! read more

Found is my jam. When I was away for a month, I thought about their oat milk latte every single morning as I made my mediocre drip coffee. Love their Demitasse roasts. Their team is so friendly, and Annie knows every regular by name and order. (Side note: To leave a negative review during the COVID crisis is an act so graceless and unnecessary, I can't even wrap my head around it.) read more

I found "Found" while on my way to the 134 East fwy on ramp going towards Figueroa on Colorado blvd. It's small, boutique coffee house. It showcases thoughtfully selected coffees and pastries. Decor is minimal & comfortable. Service- professional and helpful Coffee- The BEST All 3 visits have been delicious. It's my fav cup of soy latte EVer! I would be even more thrilled if they were a tad more progressive and offered Hemp milk. Demitasse Roasting is simply the best local roaster and the barista at FOUND knows what he's doing. This coffee is pure HEAVEN! The latte's are delicious and smooth. I have never tasted coffee like this before. If you where to drive out of your way for a great latte, then this is the spot! Not only the coffee, but the pastries are amazing. The caramelized Spam biscuits are so buttery and flaky and I LOVE the Chicken adobo hand pies! Most importantly the atmosphere is lovely and very relaxing. The service is so friendly and prompt. I'm a bit embarrassed that I haven't asked the owners name yet, because she always remembers mine and starts my latte when she sees my car pull up in the lot. What is even more perfect, I had asked her about the shop next to hers, that appears to be in progress, she told me it is going to be a craft beer shop! Stopped by here for a quick pick-me-up while I was running errands. Annie, the owner, is an absolute pleasure! She's friendly, quick-witted, and super cheerful. But friendly baristas are not why we go to coffee shops, now... is it? The location has high ceilings, with just enough clutter to make it feel cute without making you feel claustrophobic. The coffee is great too! I got their latte, and it was just the right mix of kick and milk. I don't go out to Eagle Rock all that often, but every time I do, I'll definitely have Found Coffee on my list of stops for that day~! read more

Stopped in for a cold brew and a snack. The place was neat, cool vibe and decent amount of seating options. Parking was super easy decent number of spots in the small lot. Service was friendly and warm. I'll spill the beans on the deets below. Coffee- I ordered my go to- cold brew. I liked it but it didn't move me or get me moving as much as some others I had. It sort of felt a little more like a cold regular coffee than an actual cold brew. Now I know what your thinking "Bellyworth can you tell the difference between regular coffee and cold brew?" well the answer to that is - No I can't. however that's the best description I can give about the cold brew. For research proposes I will try it again and bring my A palate to the plate. It was served in a cool mason jar if your staying in. I'd come back and give it another whirl. 3.5 stars Food- very limited selection which was disappointing. I ordered the pan au chocolate - translation chocolate croissant. It was buttery and flaky with semi sweet chocolate. Pretty enjoyable but not out standing. 3.0 stars limited selections and all. Service- warm friendly and helpful. Not much to it since I ordered and she delivered but attitude is everything and hers was nice. 4 star ambiance- pretty hipster - "i'm working here" vibe to place, not a bad spot to hang and drink your coffee all in all. 4 star Overall- this scores out like a 4 star visit but felt like a 3 star so 3.5 it is let me just find that pesky half star... oh well 3 it is with room to move up on my next stop in. read more

Great place to study and work. High ceilings, good lighting, and beautiful decor make it a great environment for focusing. Their chai latte is nicely spiced, and hot tea is served with a little timer so you know when it is done. Perfect and had outlets and WiFi - and larger tables if you need your space for books and paper. The parking lot is also very convenient! read more

First the pluses: the place is clean and bright, the staff is nice, and it has its own parking lot. We came on labor day so there were ample spaces. Not sure that is true on regular business days. As for the negatives, the menu is very small, drinks come in only one size, and if you like flavored drinks you're out of luck. My Latte was meh. Very limited seating, which consists mainly of metal chairs. It's main wall faces the parking lot and is floor to ceiling windows. The windows have coverings, but it was still quite warm at 1:00 in the afternoon. Temps outside were about 95, and the A/C could not keep up. I wanted to love this place. Maybe I'll try again on a cooler day. read more

Love this place! Super friendly baristas, delicious pastries (and I'm not a pastry person) and excellent fine coffee. I ordered the bourbon vanilla latte with almond milk and my girlfriend got a cortado. We also ordered the zucchini fritter pastry and a vegan banana chocolate chip muffin. Both were very light. The zucchini treat was light and airy and the muffin was a really tasty combination of fresh banana and chocolate. The coffees were excellent. I didn't taste the bourbon in mine but to was the perfect amount of sweetness and the espresso machine didn't a great job of bringing about the perfect espresso consistency with the milks. Will come again on my next visit; I'm curious about their beans and will definitely get some next time! :D read more

I've been there a few times now and had a great experience every time. Their lattes taste good and look very beautiful. Great WiFi with plenty of seating. It can get a little busy certain times, but finding a spot to sit down and work has never been an issue. Decor is very modern too with plenty of natural light which I love. Check it out when you can. read more

In a city overrun with coffee shops, you don't have to venture far from home to get what you need. This place isn't the closest to my house anymore but I still come by here at least once a week for a dirty chai or simple drip. The prices are reasonable, the purple are friendly, and it's got a nice atmosphere. read more

Favorite shop in all of the Greater Los Angeles area (yes, I will drive from Culver City to Eagle Rock on any given day for this place)! When you first walk in, the atmosphere and vibe is so welcoming. It's warm, modern, calming, and beautiful! The shop is open, spacious, and well lit, perfect for solo morning time or a group workspace (yay free wifi)! The team is extremely friendly, and always going above and beyond to provide the most exceptional customer service and experience possible. And the drinks. The drinks are AHH-mazing! From their lattes to their teas, every drink is delicately crafted to provide the most delicious experience. There has not been one drink that I have not loved from Found! read more

The place, Annie (the owner), and the coffee is the perfect amount of warm without being overbearing or pretentious. Bought a bag of Demitasse coffee (roasted within a week) without having to circle for parking (as you would in Little Tokyo) since Found Coffee has its own parking lot. And enjoyed a cappuccino, free with a purchase of a bag of beans. As I looked around at the art on the wall, perused through the coffee related items she's selling, and drank in the great energy of the shop, I knew I had found a real gem. The best part about my visit is that I was able to buy a TOTORO painting depicting him drinking a cup of coffee. Is it a little random? Yes. Does it still make total and complete sense in my mind? 100% yes. read more

FOUND COFFEE? MEH... Overpriced hipster coffee. I get that. The ambiance is pretty solid. The one thing the staff can pick up on is better customer service. The person who took our order didn't have a smile on her face. She made me order and made me repeat my order like she had short term memory. I ordered pastries that could've been heated up but she never asked. They just pulled out the pastry and placed it in a brown bag and said... "here!" Didn't even bother to ask if we were gonna dine in or not. (Like she wanted me and my friend out!) And they're Americano coffee... WTH!?!? $3.25!?!?!? I think Jack In the Box has better coffee for $1.10 So my friend and I shared a common table with two gentlemen and noticed that their pastries were placed on a plate. We were eating ours from the brown bag! What an experience. Bottom line... it's NOT worth it. There are better coffee houses that will give you your money's worth. This isn't one of them. What a way to start the day. read more

FOUND a way to ruin my good intentions with morning pilates class at Eagle Rock Pilates. Drove by here after class to get some coffee, and of course *had* to test out a pastry, for yelps sake. (-_-) My bourbon vanilla latte sounds fancier than it tasted. Don't get me wrong, it was a very smooth cup, a bit mild for my liking but that's personal preference. I also like my coffee much hotter, but I'm sure that's some type of blasphemy in the coffee world. Polenta coffee cake: oh yum. Basically a super moist apple/cinnamon cake. Ok maybe there's no apples, but there might as well be. Get it! I also spotted a zucchini feta biscuit, blueberry coffee cake, and a Nutella mascarpone pop tart which were calling my name but then I would have no excuse to come back next time. Parking in front is also a plus. Simple modern interior. Will add this to my eagle rock rotation! read more

Found Coffee is off of Colorado in Eagle Rock. It's on a corner and has its own parking lot. Spots are limited -- so hopefully you get a spot. I think it just depends on what time you go. I think the ambiance is what makes this place really attractive. It had some old school hip hop jams playing (my fave) and just a very relaxed and urban vibe to it. It was enticing to stay and actually work in the place. It wasn't too loud. The space allowed for parties of 2 or 4 to fit comfortably but it was pretty quaint. I just liked the interior design of the place. It made me feel hip. My boyfriend and I were pretty excited to check this place out because of the great reviews but we were a little disappointed by what we ordered. It was not as eventful and flavorful as we would have liked, unfortunately. A part of me also thinks that I was expecting something different. It may very well be a good cup of cold brew and matcha -- but it was just hyped for me. But a lot of people seemed to like it! Which is definitely a good thing! I ordered a Matcha Latte which was pretty much just plain -- I feel bad because I compare my experiences of matcha lattes to the ones I have at my favorite places -- and it's pretty unfair. It was a decent cup of matcha. Would I be back here for another? Probably not ... but I'm sure that there are other great things on the menu! My boyfriend also tried their cold brew. He said that it was okay. If you want a decent place to study and to hang out -- this is definitely a hip place though! read more

such a cute coffee shop!! i've actually been following found coffee since they first opened on ig and finally 2.5 years later, i get to try it out! lots of seating! great to get some work done as its pretty quiet. people with their friends weren't talking loudly so its pretty quiet. but it seems like the place could warm up quickly since the sun shines into the cafe and the wall is made of glass. walked in and were greeted right away by the friendly barista. we got our cold brew and iced espresso which was delicious! super refreshing on a hot saturday la afternoon. they have food and a lot of pastries to choose from too. they also have so many cute goodies to buy!! ive never been so tempted to buy so many items from a cafe ahha. maybe next time i stop by! parking-small lot, but also located in a small plaza. probably will have to park on the street or in the neighborhood! read more

Love the options to make any espresso drink decaf and with either soy or almond. This place is great if you want a place to plop down and Work. Lots of open seating and a few outlets to plug in. I've been looking for "my spot" for coffee since I moved to LA and I can finally say I FOUND it (pun intended hehe). I live in Pasadena, but it's so quick and easy to get to. Coffee and tea is good, atmosphere is great--open windows, seating, good amount of plugs for my laptop. Staff is also great. Definitely coming back. Thank you, Found! read more

I saw Rock Coffee was under new management and hosting a weekly game night on Wednesdays. They have made some major improvements. The large work space had been upgraded with plenty of tables, comfortable seating, and good natural light. The coffee quality had markedly improved. It looks like they have a brand new espresso machine and the staff has clearly been trained on how to use it properly. One of the best espressos I have had in LA. As soon as I stepped into Found Coffee, I loved it. The vibe feels modern and minimalist, yet inviting. Their coffee tastes smooth, nutty, and delicious. I ordered a decaf Americano, a drink which is rarely tasty at most coffee shops. But the one at Found Coffee tasted as smooth and flavorful as it smelled - what a treat! The customer behind me bought a spam scone - apparently people rave about it. She tasted it and said it was surprisingly good. They gave me a coffee drink on the house because I bought a pound of coffee (bonus!). The owner herself came out from behind the counter to tell me about different flavors and grinds. They also had about 6 or 7 choices of top quality loose leaf tea. I took home four of the choices, and they all turned out to be delicious, especially the English Breakfast. I don't normally write reviews, but this one had to be written. This morning, I asked if they had a Spanish latte, and the lady answered no. If they don't have a Spanish latte, I would like something similar to it, and she replied with a poor attitude "Oh like I said, we don't have any". She said, "have a great day" as I walked away with this sarcastic tone. It is understandable that your small business might not be able to offer what the client requested, but at least have excellent customer service. They could have offered me something else or at least tried to earn my business by explaining what they had. Normally, I give my business to small businesses rather than Starbucks or a big coffee chain, but in this case, I realized I was wrong. It would be helpful if you focused more on customer service. How lucky am I to have such a quality coffee joint near my home? Unfortunately I am the hugest coffee snob I know (barista training at a former job ruined me and I have continued my obsession long after), Cafe De Leche is the popular local spot but I highly dislike it, and no not even intelligentsia quite does it for me usually. But I was so happy once I tried Found; quality espresso and coffee, super friendly staff, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, easy to get to and so close to where I live! Found has the expertise and everything I want (except maybe a huge parking lot, but I've never had trouble finding parking and is definitely way easier than any other place within 10 miles besides Starbucks) from a coffee house. Their yuzu espresso tonic is phenomenal and they consistently have locally sourced pastries and pop up food vendors. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and have helped me pick out coffee beans and loose leaf tea. The curated assortment of trinkets from local businesses and Found merch is also fun to browse. This is all we did yesterday, EAT! The food adventure brought us to this gem of a coffee shop, I don't know if this place is locally popular, but if it isn't yet, then it should. This is my third place in my neighborhood. I love, love this coffee shop. When my husband and I moved to Eagle Rock almost four years ago, we came upon it while walking our dog, and it's been a special home ever since.
