We ventured in here Thursday evening and had a wonderful time. The inside has a really cool vibe as does the patio. I had the venison meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies. It was tender and delicious. I would have enjoyed it more without the overpowering spice and maybe with a gravy on it instead. Sasha was our waitress and she was super sweet. Honestly, every staff member we interacted with was really friendly and helpful from the hostess to the guy who brought our food. Did you know Foxhole is a from-scratch Kitchen?! They source their meat from Broken Arrow Ranch too. The crispy brussel sprouts came with beets and this dish was super tasty and satisfying. The stuffed quail - get it! The pepper cream cheese and the red pepper jelly give it a nice kick. The quail isn't gamey, don't worry. You'll be sorry if you miss ordering this. The Texas Redfish comes on a bed of dirty rice! And the andouille sausage in there is so good. Loved the fish and how perfectly flakey it was and how well it paired with the dirty rice. Great spot! Happy hour is a steal. I had the gulf oysters, pork belly crostini and tempura green beans. Oysters are very fresh plump and creamy. Pork belly was nice a crispy full of flavor. This is a former favorite that we haven't visited for quite a while for no particular reason. Our visit last Saturday revealed that they haven't lost anything but rather continue to grow as a destination restaurant. Foxhole is really larger than it appears from the outside. They also have covered, exterior dining avaiable. Our server and Foxhole ambassador was Derrell L. Derrell made the visit especially satisfying, watching out for every opportunity to give good service. Since we are no longer consumers of vast quantities of food, we concentrated on the appetizer and salad section of the menu and were well pleased. We will endeavor to return more often. read more

Stopped in for a leisurely Saturday lunch while kids were shopping. Great atmosphere and bartender was friendly and attentive. Brunch menu has lots of breakfast options (and some decadent ones) and limited lunch items. I enjoyed the wood-fired steak salad, which to my surprise was a serious steak on a smaller bed of salad. Opposite of what you usually see. The salad had some nice, unique flavors (e.g., fried green tomatoes and spicy cherry peppers). First time eating and having a cocktail at this establishment. I got an old fashioned with Bullett Rye. I'm very picky about my drinks and asked about different whiskeys and pricing. Went for dinner with my husband and friend a couple nights ago, and we were all impressed with the food and service. The food was very good, we split a charcuterie between the three of us. It had a good assortment of cheeses, Olives, pepperoni etc .. none of us cared for the jam though had kinda a Jager taste to it. I got the pork belly Banh Mi, my husband got the filet, and our friend got the tuna tartare. Everyone was very pleased with their main dishes and the portions were generous. Drinks were definitely the highlight! Unique cocktails with great flavor and not over powering with alcohol. I got the Thyme is of the Essence and loved it! Our waiter was good and attentive to our needs. The only thing that I didn't particularly care for was when they dimmed the lights randomly. Even with the candle on the table and TVS glowing it felt kinda dark. Also, this is not an inexpensive night out by any means. Plan for around $10 a drink and 15-30 per plate. They do have a happy hour that looked decent that I'd like to check out with friends, and I feel like we'd go back for a date night or if we wanted to take someone from out of town out for nice dinner. What a find! I only found this place because I was trying to find a place that would take reservations for a Sunday brunch and this was one of the few that do! That said, when we got there around 11am, it wasn't busy at all and I don't think the reservation was necessary. The food was great - so many options to choose from that I was almost tempted to order more than one thing. I highly recommend the Bubbles flight - being able to try the 4 different cocktails was great and surprisingly all very good despite my concerns with the ingredients. The live music was an added bonus. There is plenty of parking, seating (outdoors and in) and service was friendly and quick. Even though it's a long drive for me. I will be back! read more

Fantastic! Took my mother and aunt out for a nice dinner. The service was attentive and exceeded expectations. Chris L was handling our table, and he couldn't have been more pleasant. As for the food, it was delicious. I had the Berkshire porkchop, the proportions of which were more than I had planned for, and which was tender and well seasoned. Additionally, the accompanying succa-hash was a delightful touch, and the sweet potato shoestrings were nice though my aunt and mother ate most of them. I also ordered the maple leaf duck, a first for me. The flavor was rich, and one I would recommend. My mother ordered the 8 oz filet mignon, which she raved about (not an easy task, as she is very picky). My aunt ordered a house salad and baked potato, which she enjoyed. I came to foxhole for brunch and I had a pretty decent experience. Pros: -We tried 2 of the brunch specials, the Foxhole Sunrise Deluxe Brunch and the Old-Fashioned Benedict Brunch. The Eggs Benedict was very good. The eggs were light and fluffy and the sauce/bread complimented each other very well. The potatoes were crispy and was a good side dish too. -The atmosphere here is great for brunch and has a very relaxing feeling. There is a nice patio to enjoy when the weather is nice and the restaurant has nice open spacing. Cons: -The Foxhole Sunrise Deluxe was a little underwhelming. The patty was just okay and the other items were just your typical eggs and bacon. -The price for some of the items are a little expensive. -I think some of the items are hit and miss. They make some good dishes along with some average ones. The recommendation: Not a "must visit" food spot, but it's not bad either! I've only been to Foxhole once or twice since they've been open and after yesterday's brunch I remember why. I ordered the Crazy Cajun because the menu description made it sound so good. The menu said it consisted of Fresh Gulf Shrimp, crawfish, spinach, tomatoes, potatoes, cheese, etc. After waiting for what seemed forever, it came out with my wife's and grandson's entree and their dishes were good but the fresh gulf shrimp were anything but- they were the small canned shrimp that had the fishiest taste and smell that you can imagine. The crawfish were the same. I took about three bites and that's all I could take. I still had the fishy shrimp smell in my nose long after I got home. I did let the server know that the dish was inedible and she was kind enough to take it off the tab. I think this was the third time I've tried Foxhole but I promise I'll never step foot back in the door. read more

We called to make reservations but they don't do that. We waited 45 minutes to get seated. Not many people there so not sure why. The mushroom burger had about 10 thin sliced mushrooms and both burgers buns were burned. Couldn't tell the difference between the Kobe burger meat from the mushroom burger meat. Steak fries were uneatable because they were salted beyond necessary and hard. The chips were good but over salted so we didn't eat them. The burgers were salted so bad we got them to go.... Didn't eat them. We tried to order dessert but was told "no". It was too late being 4 minutes after 9. Water was never refilled. The fried zucchini was well cooked but had no flavor maybe needed some salt? We wanted to order the pretzels but they were out. Over all a $60+ meal that wasn't worth it. Do not recommend this place at all. There's too many other restaurants w better customer service and same type of dishes. Won't be back. Foxhole is one of my fave spots and for you dog parents, it's a dog friendly venue on porch. Thank you Foxhole for that! They have really good drinks and the vibe is chill. Used to love this place! We used to order take out about 2x week for almost a year in 2021. It was always packed right & amazing! About 6-8 months ago it just got super inconsistent. Now, every time I order chips & guac it's completely different sizes. Sometimes I get potato chip instead if the super good tortilla chips. Sometimes half & half. Sometimes a 16 oz. soup bowl of guac. Sometimes a 2 oz. container of guac. Sometimes I get the trio appetizer when I order chips & guac? Tonight we thought we'd try again. Great food, great service and a warm, clean and spacious setting. Really nice laid back little cover band during brunch on Sunday. Bloody Mary was delicious and I had the Egg Benedict, SPOT ON. I've been wanting to try Foxhole and finally bit the bullet and did so. I really didn't have expectations but I left feeling underwhelmed by the overall experience. I started with an old fashion and outside of the overly large glass it wasn't bad (don't give glasses that cause the drink to look short) we also had the calamari which I enjoyed, the lobster Mac and cheese and the Kobe burger. The Mac and cheese came out room temperature which was odd and disappointing but they did take it back and reheat it. The burger was just meh, nothing awful and nothing memorable well the fries were kind of yucky. Cute place! I liked the decor and atmosphere here. Came here for a business lunch. The guacamole app was good;the tortilla chips were very good! Good seasoning on them and nice and crispy! I didn't love the Brussels sprouts. They were too soggy and had a weird sauce on them I didn't enjoy, plus corn which is just odd! I had the ahi tuna sandwich which was kinda awkward to eat bc there was so many good things on it. Once I ditched the bun, all the flavors meshed perfectly and it was delicious!! Overall a good experience, though it seemed to be a bit hit or miss depending on what you ordered. Items that were enjoyed included the pork chops, the seared tuna BLT, the salmon salad, the pretzel appetizer, and the cocktails. The shrimp peelers were definitely one you can skip since they were $2.5 a piece for old tasting, greyed shrimps. Speaking of not having a bad experience I had a business lunch here last week. All three of us ordered their steak salad, and iced tea (freekin amateurs,ice tea) . Our server, as usual, was spot on. We enough ice tea during lunch that we all marched in formation to the loo before we left. I've had steak salad everywhere (yea exaggeration) and this one was in the top 2 or 3. The steak was cooked medium rare to perfection and there was a lot of it.
