A small little shop that sells pork jerky! I love this stuff so I was glad that San Gabriel Valley had something like this. You can order the jerky by pound and you have a different selection of meats flavors to choose from. I ordered the Black Pepper Jerky, the Original Jerky, as well as the Spicy Jerky as well. Oh, I also got the Bacon Jerky too. The first thing that really stood out was the tenderness of the meat. It's so good. It's savory, its salty, its sweet. You kinda have all of that encompassed into the jerky, and you also get a good bang for your buck for the amount you get which I think is worth it. The jerky isn't cheap either so don't expect it to be like $10 or less. You can order it by 1/4, 1/2, or a pound. Anyways, this stuff was really good and I recommend coming here!

Now that I've finally visited Fragrant Jerky, there's no turning back. I've had it bookmarked forever and finally visited to share some with my family. This type of jerky is sweet, sticky, and savory. The spicy versions are subtle and build at the end. While I wanted to buy everything, we opted to try the spicy beef, pepper beef, soft pork, and spicy pork bacon. I have only opened and tried 2. But so far I'm happy! My family (reluctant to go initially) now want to return to take back a few bags as gifts from CA. We tried the following: Soft pork (5/5) the pork is sweet yet savory, and soft but not mushy Spicy pork bacon (5/5) if you like fatty pork, this one delivers. The spicy taste is not apparent until the end as it finishes spicy. This is a small shop that has only a glass case showcasing the various jerky options. All are sold by the 1/4 lb, 1/2 lb, 1 lb, and prices are clearly marked. You have the option of leaving pieces whole or have the jerky cut (except bacon types). I left the pieces whole because I prefer cutting it myself (with kitchen scissors). But now I'm curious how the cut version looks. Service is efficient. The jerky is packaged in resealable bags. It all looks very clean, neat, and presentable. Good for gifts. Parking is ample even though most stalls were taken. I'll definitely returning and will likely be back many times for myself and my family. LOCATION: 4/5 FOOD: 5/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 4/5 AMBIANCE: 4/5 PET FRIENDLY: n/a CLEANLINESS: 5/5 PARKING: 5/5

Okay the original bacon is absolutely ridiculous. It's so freakin good it's unreal. Moist, chewy, sweet, fatty....just so good. And served warm as it should be. Both my parents grew up in Singapore and I remember standing in line for the jerky out there. People would wait in line for hours for the best place. So yummy. The original pork was pretty good. The spicy beef was good, the spicy seasoning on it made it very tasty which makes me really excited to try the spicy bacon next time. Highly recommend.

This is one of my to go place in LA. I love their pork jerky. I bought it to share with my family and friends. They also love it. :)

Came highly recommended. I can't wait to try. They sell it by the quarter pound. About $30/pound.

My preference for jerky is now forever altered thanks to Fragrant Jerky. I find myself coming back to this place if I'm ever in the area. They have a variety of jerky, all sweet, savory, fatty, and uniquely addicting. You're able to buy by the pound, and if you're like me who needs to walk out with more than one flavor, the $$ adds up. I always find myself with a bag of the original pork, but they do have spicy and non spicy options of both beef and pork.

This is not my first purchase from them. I have bought from them six times in person and twice online. This is my second online purchase, but this time I never received their package. Not even the postman's vehicle showed up. I provided photos from our home camera, but they accused me of fraud and even insulted me. It's extremely absurd and ridiculous for me, I'm the buyer, they telling me to claim compensation from the post office, but they are the seller and the holder of the post office account. This after-sales service is the worst I have ever seen, without a doubt. Please do not buy from them. They even threatened me with my information? I have already decided to report this to the police.

I got 1lb of the original pork jerky. It's good. I still prefer the ones from another place called Champion Provisions (inside Focus Plaza), but unfortunately, their business closed.

Drove 50mins from K town just to get these for my pregnant Wife. It's similar to what we have back in Singapore . Taste great either way.

The 4 of us especially liked the white fish with basil and the shrimp with snow peas. The rice noodles with seafood and the kung pao were also good. That said, we like our food spicier, so we asked for chili oil and limes. Some dishes did have vegetables, but when I go again I'll order a vegetable dish. Service was stellar - personal, but never intrusive. I liked that we were seated immediately and still given time for our late guests to arrive. Food arrived quickly once we ordered. They were gracious about splitting the tab afterwards, but could easily have asked whether we wanted separate checks since we were 3 unrelated sets of adults that arrived separately. So, what could have been better? The chafing spoons were too small and too few, leaving us to pull the chafing plate to the edge of the lazy Susan and scrape. My dinner plate was too small, so I made a bit of a mess while eating. The main room is noisy, even with some empty tables, Next time I'll ask for a table in the quiet section (to the right when coming in the main door.) I've driven past Newport Seafood many times and not gone in because the parking lot was already full, and it's not my style to park elsewhere and walk over. However, on Monday at 5 PM, we found ample parking. All that said, Newport Seafood seemed at its best when serving special meals to large families all around us. I will think of them next time we celebrate a special family occasion.

Xiao Long Bao's flavor profile tasted more like steamed dumplings. Beef roll didn't taste as good as I remembered (probably because it had slightly less hoisin sauce), but it was still a good beef roll nonetheless. * Personally G4 Black Pepper Beef Fried Udon ($15.99) was a surprising discovery and an S-tier dish. Basically think of it as beef chow fun, but replace flat noodles with udon and add egg and bell pepper - excellent flavor profile. C3 Pan Fried Pork Bao (6 pieces - $13.00) were comparable to the ones from Kang Kang Food Court. 4.5 stars for the food with 4 items enough to feed 3 to 4 adults. I would say their noodle dishes like Beef Noodle Soup / Black Pepper Beef Fried Udon / Fujian Style Fried Vermicelli are slightly better than their dumpling dishes. Bump it up to 5-star for the excellent service. P.S. - There's another new location in Diamond Bar.

The service was also very good and accommodating, especially since I came in with a party of 8. Here are my thoughts on the food: Spicy Beef Tripe - I actually really enjoyed this one. It was cold and had good flavors. (4/5) Shrimp Fried Rice - It was simple, but it was good. Nothing over the top, just a simple classic. (4/5) Pan Fried Dumpling - It was delicious, had good flavors, and was juicy. (4.5/5) Beef Udon - Another simple dish, but it was good. Nothing overly done, just a nice carb to have. (4/5) Beef Roll - Best thing they have for sure. Nice flavors and made perfectly. (5/5) Pan Fried Bao - Pretty good. It had juice inside, and the meat was tasty. (4.5/5) Popcorn Chicken - We got this one mild, and they basically didn't put any spice on it. TBH, it lacked flavor, and besides being pretty crispy, it definitely needed some spice. (3/5) Beef Noodle Soup - It was good and pretty traditional. (4/5) Overall, most of the food was good but not spectacular IMO. It's a solid place to eat if you're looking for pretty good food, and the price isn't too bad! Parking - Now this stings because this lot SUCKS. If you come during peak hours, just pray because it's a very popular lot with plenty of good restaurants, so it gets crowded. I ended up exiting and driving south to the first local street, where you can park and walk over.

I love the Chengdu Style Green Bean Jelly. It's spicy numbing with a bit of tartness. They recently revamped their menu adding a lot of new things and their drinks list has grown substantially. Their grilled on the bone beef rib is excellent and new jellyfish appetizer has a wonderful crunch. Tip: 1 Duck platter order per 8-10ppl is typical (don't get scammed for more) unless you're a foreigner who doesn't share dishes (joke of ordering 1 steam fish for their 1 dish for themself). Duck and Five-Color with Mung Bean Noodle Salad are musts. Best for groups. Overall a decent group dinner place due to price and quality (excellent service, higher quality/cleaner processed food). Is it the best Northern food? No, but decent in Chinese food and priced well which makes this place a repeatable place. But it's not northern chinese food taste. Allows us to bring bday cake and light own candle. No outside drinks (even non-alcoholic). How to RSVP group party and specific dishes -- - They only allow rsvp 7days ahead. - Table: 6ppl Table to add 2 chairs. OR if we take the 8ppl table private room, then we need to spend $400minimally with credit card to be put on RSVP phone can when RSVP. For a party of 8ppl, the non-private room table would be too small for ordering a bunch of dishes. - Order how many Peking Duck orders? "Depends on people but there was a small group that ordered 2, and then a group of 12 that ordered just one." For Chinese banquet style, usually 1 duck order per 8-10ppl is fine. It's like 1 birthday cake for 1 party table. - Ordering lobster dish ($200+$20 noodles) requires ordering early. We were able to order one at 1140amish for our 5pmish Saturday night dinner. We feels it's good to order for 8ppl+. - 2hr dining time limit. Musts - Five-Color with Mung Bean Noodle Salad: Doesn't taste like how it should but guess they tried? - Duct platter is good. For a party of 8ppl, most ppl will be able to grab at least 1-2 which is enough since there's other dishes too. Dinner for 8ppl (over ordered, and ordered via more meat due to meat heavy eater orderer for our group). I would have ordered more veggies (next visit). 1 北京烤鴨 (荷葉餅,配料) $95.00 Roasted Peking Duck 1 加荷叶饼 Extra Pancakes $7.00 (no buns were offered here). 1 鸭汤 Duck Soup $19.98 - Comes with tofu and cabbage in it. It's light, and good to have so you don't need to order a different soup. It's okay though. 1 六福大拼盘 Six Fortune Platter $48.98 - Center jelly fish was the star. Most eaters on my table talked about it. I was pretty happy with gluten, and pate type meat slice. Everything else was okay. This might be good for a party of 10ppl instead. I don't see it as a mist for our party of 8ppl. 1 五彩大拉皮 Five-Color with Mung Bean Noodle Salad $18.98 - Mix yourself. I usually eat this dish with a lot of the spicy mustard (like horseradish/wasabi) in it. But it's nice they have it on the side for each person's spicy level? I dont think I've ever eaten it with vinegar oil? I loved this dish as a kid for Northern cuisine. Unfortunately, this dish isn't to par. But okay enough. This dish is usually a must order/staple appetizer from northern cuisine restaurants. 1 梅菜扣肉 Steamed Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetables $22.98 - Not for me. 1 牙签孜然羊肉 Cumin Lamb on Toothpicks $25.98 - Done well. My SO loved it. Typical Northern western Chinese protein and dish. A dish that's become a typical bar food dish around 626. 1 西汁核桃虾 Crispy Walnut Shrimp $18.98 - Remember this isn't a canto restaurant. So this style is not the same from cafes, or canto seafood restaurants. Really good deal for the amount they have us. 1 葱油鱼片 Fish Fillet with Scallion Oil $24.98 - Particular texture. I love fish, but for some reason, this texture really confuses me. Like eating raw skin crunching fish? I just have to get used to it? Or I'm just the anomaly in this one. 1 招牌黑椒龙虾 Signature Black Pepper Lobster 5.50 lb @$35.00/lb $192.50 -加伊面 Add Noodle $20.00 Lobster 5.50lbs. This one was pepper vs Canto oil style. They'll ask you when ordering your food. That was the smallest lobster they had. Next one would be a 6lb lobster instead. 1 木耳山药 Black Fungus with Chinese Yam $18.98 - My type of dish. Light and healthier. 1 热水 Hot Water $0.00 1 茉莉花茶 Jasmine Tea $9.98 (pot worth) 8 冰水 Ice Water $0.00 Items in interested in trying next time with a group whose okay with dishes I usually go for - - Garlic shredded eel $32.48 (OR Spicy Stir-fried Pork)  - Special Shredded Pancake (OR Kurobuta Pork Meat Pie $14ish, Chive Pancakes, Chive Turnovers). - more vegetable heavy dishes. Service was amazing. Multiple plate changes, and ice water refills.

There are a few Canto cafés around here, but this one is definitely one of our favorites. Dim sum is pretty easy to find, but authentic Cantonese cafés are much more of a rare find. The lower reviews are probably due to the service, but in my opinion, a truly authentic Cantonese restaurant should have questionable service because that's exactly what you get at the good places in Hong Kong. The philosophy in Hong Kong is basically "food over service." If they're being too nice, they're probably overcompensating for something haha. Getting either the hot or iced milk tea or lemon tea is a MUST. It's the traditional way to do it, and they even offer unlimited refills! Just be warned that you might not sleep that night because Hong Kong-style tea is no joke when it comes to caffeine. Pro tip: If you get the lemon tea, you have to crush the lemons into the tea to get the right flavor! My friends and I are regulars here. They're open late, and the ambiance is so fun, with tables decorated with mahjong tiles and neon lights that basically scream Asia. The food is top tier and, in my opinion, some of the best Cantonese food you'll find in the U.S. Our go-to orders are the tomato baked rice dishes, stir-fried vegetables, 3-cup dishes, and brisket curries. For something sweet, we always share the classic Cantonese French toast with peanut butter inside or one of the pineapple buns. Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for an authentic Canto café experience! :)

I came here a few nights ago when the hot pot spot I wanted to eat at was packed and I didn't want to wait. I decided to try HK Macau Bistro instead since I low key wanted to have baked pasta. Restaurant was packed but I was able to be seated right away. I ordered the following dishes: - Baked Fish Fillet with Cream Sauce / Pasta - 8/10. This was really good. The melted cheese on top made this dish so delicious! - Chicken (Half) - 7/10 - This was good but it just tasted like any the chicken at any other place. - Chinese greens - 7/10 - This was okay. Preferred stronger flavors as this tasted kind of bland. - Curry Beef Stew / Tendons - 9/10 - Very tender! I liked this a lot! Would definitely order again! Lemon Iced Tea was yummy! Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Love the H.K. Vibe.

OMG! If you're craving some REALLY good lobster and want to get your money's worth, Boston Lobster…read moreis definitely worth trying! I came here with a friend, just the two of us, and the portions were HUGE. We ordered a lobster that was around 3-4 pounds, and the lobster is priced per pound. I believe we had the Boston Lobster House Special, and we added the noodles for about $10 extra. Let me tell you and it did NOT disappoint. The lobster was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely mouthwatering. The noodles soaked up all that flavor from the lobster and seasoning, and everything together was just delicious. I kept wanting to eat even though I was already getting full! It is a little pricey, especially depending on the size of the lobster you choose, but they give you A LOT of food. There were only two of us, and we each had enough food left over to take home and have another full meal. Honestly, the amount we ordered could have easily fed four people. We also had the shrimp fried rice, which was delicious, and even the lemon iced tea was really good. I wanted to try more things, but there was absolutely no way, we already had so much food! This is definitely more of a family-style dining experience. In my opinion, this isn't your typical quick Chinese food spot or chain restaurant. The quality, freshness, portions, and overall experience put Boston Lobster on another level. I also loved the atmosphere. We sat near the live seafood tanks, so you can actually see the lobsters and other seafood in the tanks, which added to the experience. They also have their own private parking lot with two-hour parking, which is a huge plus. We didn't have reservations and were able to get seated, but I could definitely see this place getting crowded, so reservations may be helpful during busier times. For me, Boston Lobster is easily FIVE STARS. If you're in the Rosemead area looking for delicious Asian seafood and some seriously good lobster, I definitely recommend it. Just make sure you come HUNGRY!

They kept switching out our plates whenever they got filled with empty shells, so we always had a clean plate. The inside was also pretty nice, and you can see all the fish and lobsters in the tanks. Overall, it was a great experience! Definitely on the pricier side, but we had a good time and the food and service made it worth it. Food was everything we expected! We got: Steamed turbo fish 10/10 - it was really flavorful and the ginger and onions on top was an amazing touch. Clams w basil - was very good and fresh. We couldn't stop eating it 10/10 House special lobster - was fire!! It was very easy to take out the shell and it was so tasty. Would definitely recommend! 100/10 French beef - not the star of the show but still was really flavorful! 9/10 Sour soup - it was a good soup and tasted like all the other sour soup nothing too special :) 8/10 Ong choy - we needed some vegetable on the table and steamed ong choy w garlic was really good and refreshing. 10/10 Fried rice - matched w everything we were eating 9/10
