Ordered take out for my second and last time! Worst quesadia ever! Soggy tortilla was limp with no grill marks. We had to heat up a cast iron griddle to cook it properly. Their tacos are tasty, but a grown man will need 5. These are the smallest tacos I have ever seen! I ordered 2 along with a sope, again the smallest ever! Tasty but puny. We ordered a side of guacamole. 1/3 of a cup for $4.25,a joke. The place is a dive. You would not enjoy the ambiance. All the charm of Denny's. I was told 10 to 15 minutes. This is a new place with some great Mexican food! We ordered the street tacos. We had the Tacos al Pastor and the Carnitas Tacos. Both of the tacos were outstanding, but we think the Carnitas edged out on flavor. We also had their Spanish Rice and Refried Beans. These sides were hot, fresh, and tasted delicious. This restaurant is now our "go-to" place for delicious and inexpensive Mexican food. We will be trying more items on their menu and are sure it all will be excellent. What a great place! read more

Finally decided to try Freaking Tacos (despite the fact that they don't offer fish tacos). Good call! The SO ordered a chicken taco and a carnitas torpedo burrito. The massive burrito came well packed with carnitas, rice, beans, green onions and crema. He said he liked the long shape and thought that the components were well balanced. He pronounced it delicious! I ordered three tacos; chicken, carnitas and al pastor. The seasoning was perfect for me (spice wuss); mildly spicy with a ton of flavor. Yum! We also ordered chips, salsa and guacamole. The guac came with slices of radishes (as did the tacos and burrito) and it was a minor revelation for me. I never realized how well radishes paired with Mexican food before! Amazing! The restaurant interior is narrow with about 5 (?) small tables, clean and neat. This is a very clean small place with very tasty Mexican food. All dishes were freshly prepared. This place could benefit from a few tables and therefore is mostly a takeout place. The quesadilla was moist because they put some sour cream in them. The tacos were great and not dried out as they can be sometimes elsewhere. So, I went to Freaking Tacos, and ordered a burrito. Maybe that's why I felt it was just "A-OK". I ordered a carne asada wet burrito which comes with a verde green sauce. My first few bites, the flavors was absolutely amazing. Might I add, that the salsa is also very, very good! However, as I continued to eat, I noticed that the entirety of the burrito was overwhelmed with rice and beans. I really did not get very much meat. The proportions were definitely out of balance. The meat that I did have, was flavorful and yummy, but came in small bits and so very crispy. It was good, and I finished my food-but it was just okay! OKAY. I have been meaning to write this review for months. What an awesome little spot this is. The exterior is visually underwhelming, but the food and service makes up for it. One of the most frustrating things about ordering Mexican food is inconsistency! Sometimes you'll get a perfect burrito, other times it's all rice and beans. NOT HERE. Every meal you get here is made perfectly and is perfectly delicious. I have tried most of the things on the menu and I'm never disappointed. If you can handle spice, try their Diablo sauce. It's off the hook! Aside from the food, their service is phenomenonal. The same girl is usually working each time I go there. She remembers my name, what I do, etc and always makes small talk. Also, a big plus is that they really strictly follow COVID-19 procedures. I look forward to continuing to do business with them. read more

I ordered a taco with carnitas and a sope with carne asada, and they were incredibly delicious. I loved that they toasted/grilled the tortilla for the taco...most places don't do that. The sope was fresh and crunchy. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The tacos are a bit small, so I recommend ordering 3-5 depending on your hunger level. If you order the sope, order at least two. The only downside of this location is the lack of indoor seating. We sat outside at a table and chairs, but most people were ordering to go. I have been wanting to go here and finally made it today. The food was delicious! We got a carne asada salad, a chicken salad, and a chicken torta. Everybody loved their food. Noticed this new restaurant in the neighborhood, we had to try it. When we first drove up the signage is hard to read, the big neon poster sign in the window stating "Pinches Tacos" we knew we were in the right spot. I had the sope and my husband got the salad. Tacos are small and expensive. No complimentary chips or salsa. No restroom for customers. They are very stingy. I'd rather go to Lola's Market Taqueria where the tacos are double the size and filled with meat and they are more generous, the service is better, and they have a FREE salsa bar with grilled onions and jalapenos. read more
