Wow! I just ate 10 tacos from here. They are that good! They offer 5 tacos for $5 so I had to do it. After demolishing my carne asada order, I decided to give the al pastor a try as well. This place was great. Found it on yelp when looking for burritos, but the quesadillas sounded so good/for such a good price we went for that. They had SO much meat in them and were super cheesy. They also were huge. The salsas that it came with were good too, especially the salsa verde. Definitely will be back to try the burritos! Wow! I had a hard time finding the place, why It's sign reads something other than freaking Tacos! Anyway, yes it is a hidden gem. We ordered two Tacos each, we waiting all of 3 minutes, and the tacos were amazingly good and inexpensive. The counter staff was friendly and efficient. I will return and suggest you also try some Freaking (good) Tacos. Freaking Delicious! I got 1 carnitas sope and 1 carnitas taco. My metabolism isn't what it used to be so this was pretty much all I could do in one sitting. Well, that's kind of lie. I had some chips too (omg, the salsa!!) and a few other bites of my dude's sope. The sope was as close to perfect as I've been able to find for a while. Excellent contrasts of soft and crispy, warm and cold, and light dusting of that soft powdery cheese. ohhhhhh yeah. Do yourself a favor please and try one. The taco was table-slappingly good. When yelp recommended that I try a hot a new place in town called Freaking Tacos, I came by to do a take out after work. I ordered 3 small chicken street tacos, chicken quesadilla, veggie soup and a side of rice and beans. Food was very good! The lady at the counter asked how I found out about them and was super friendly. She packed all my food on paper plates inside a bag to go. A little bit of a wait for my food but was not too bad. This is my go-to taco spot! My friend took me here when they first opened and now I can't stop! My boyfriend and I get takeout at least once a week here. We always get the carne asada tacos and carne asada sopes. They are so delicious! If you can handle some heat, I highly recommend getting their Diablo salsa on the side and adding it to the tacos and sopes. Very spicy but excellent flavor! The women who work here are all so sweet and always get our order right. I am so glad that this place has been able to stay in business through these hard times! They are the best! read more

Awesome Sopes, tacos were pretty small, and chicken burrito was pretty good. Really enjoyed the flavor complexity of the Sopes with different layers of flavors and textures. Went with Chicken on all three of my choices. The burrito is not your normal burrito. Its rolled longer and less chubbier than any burrito ive had before. TLDR; We left full and satisfied - I would have given it 5 stars but personally, I would only come back for the delicious al pastor. My husband would come back for the al pastor, chicken and possibly the beef. My husband and I tried this place when it first opened and decided to go again tonight. We ordered 5 different types of tacos (street taco size- $1.60 each) Al Pastor (our favorite, marinated nicely and moist, flavor was bold but not overloaded with too many spices) Chicken (second favorite, tender, almost too seasoned, similarities to chorizo seasoning) Asada Beef (next up, thinly sliced, not chewy, quite tasty but nothing too special) Carnitas (Not dry but nice and tender, personally, we like carnitas a bit more crispy. These taste a bit too much like pure pork) Tortillas were doubled up and lightly fried - delicious! not moist and floppy. Salsa on each taco was proportionate and good, maybe a bit "tomatoey" Cilantro and onion on each taco, could have had a bit more onion. We ordered a horchata (around $3.50 for a small, which was quite large) very creamy and had a good amount of spice, unlike others which could be bland and watery. Total was $19.50 Overall a very convenient place to eat: Budget eats A few tables to sit and eat inside, tables for 2. Pretty clean atmosphere inside, unlike outside. Fast Waitress was very nice and friendly *wanted to update this after reading other yelpers reviews right after reviewing. We absolutely love Freaking Tacos. I had been trying for awhile to get Dan to try a new taco shop and when he finally did, he comes here probably at least once a week. At first, I wasn't a huge fan because I can't have spicy foods (due to an allergy) and the first thing I had, was not good for me. That did not stop me from going back, explaining what I can and cannot have then being presented the most delicious quesadilla I have ever had. The staff has always been so patient and nice every time we come in. Dan gets the torpedo burrito every time, it's his favorite. This place is definitely worth a stop. There was lots of parking available. The restaurant was empty but it was a little early for dinner. The menu was simple and straight forward with quite a few taco options. I was told that the tacos were small street tacos and to order more rather than less. The ambiance was fitting. They had Mexican music playing. There was not a lot of seating so maybe patrons typically get food to go? The customer service was good. The girl at the counter was nice. We ordered the Al pastor tacos, carnitas, chips and guacamole, and my date had a horchata. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. The chips were just okay nothing special and the guac was good.
