I had a day off and really have been needing to replace my brake pads. The shop I initially wanted to go to was closed and needed to find a shop that accepted walk-ins. Lum greeted me at the office and was friendly and approachable. He gave me a quote for the service and I handed over my keys. A few hours later, Lum called me and said that one of my rotors couldn't be resurfaced and needed to be replaced. As a disclaimer, my car is a 2011 and was previously a rental car so I am unaware of it's past service history. Not only did they assess my brakes but also my shocks and struts and recommended I get those replaced as well, but didn't try to sell me on it right in that moment. He even let me know how much it would approximately cost. Though I ended up paying more than I had expected, I do feel this shop is honest and reliable. The invoice was broken down to me before I paid. I'm glad that I have another mechanic I feel comfortable taking my car to. Now it just time to save up money for other repairs.

I made a call and the same repair that I was quoted as $480 at another local auto repair shop, Sebastian quoted me as about $250 dollars. And then the other repair of the right and left arms for some part of the engine that I was quoted as $1184 by the other Auto shop, Sebastian told me that it's normal wear and doesn't need to be repaired yet. Now it makes sense that the previous repair shop wanted to charge me $50 per bulb to put in when my bulbs went out on my car. So I went and got the bulbs myself at O'Reilly's and put them in myself the first time until I found out O'Reillys offers complementary bulb replacement. We drive and schedule all our service from NV just so he can do all the maintenance for our cars. We have tried a few mechanics in NV, but none are as good as Danny. Hence us still giving him ALL our cars to work on. Atmosphere - Not the best neighborhood, but that does not bother me. My daughter and I even went for a walk while he serviced our car. Small waiting area, but I usually just hang out in the parking lot talking with all the other customers. Always busy. See my pictures of a FULL parking lot 30 minutes after he opens. Open weekdays from 9am to 5pm. He has stayed late for us on the very few times our schedule did not allow us to be back at 5pm. Closed weekends now, since Covid.
