I came in at the 12 o'clock lunch hour and to my surprise there was only one other customer in the restaurant. I ordered the burrito bowl with chicken, Spanish rice, pinto beans, queso, shredded cheese, lettuce, corn & creamy-jalapeño sauce. Sooo yummy. As far as ambiance, most tables were clean, the music isn't too loud and there's lots of warm, natural light. read more

Holy beans and rice! It was FREEZING in there today!!!! I had no choice but to take off a star because of how cold it was. They definitely aren't making it a comfortable place to visit. Please remember, Freebirds, your entire decor is mainly concrete. It's going to be as cold inside as it is outside. I definitely used all y'all's napkins wiping my nose! Insanely overpriced, I spent $20 on a burrito today. Yes it was good. Yes, the service was good but why would I spend that kind of money when I can go to a restaurant and get a better burrito? It just doesn't make any sense. For a fast casual place even if you get double meat it should cost like $15. read more

Customer Service: 5/5. I've visited this location several times and the staff is always kind and friendly. Today, a placed 3 large family orders on short notice, but they were accommodating and made it happen. I should have placed an advanced, online order, but I greatly appreciated their accommodations. Not only that, but they brought the order out to my car without me even asking. That's amazing. Food: 5/5 Freebirds chicken is superb compared similar restaurants. I eat big, so their monster burrito is my go-to. They also have fountain drink that I haven't seen at any other restaurant.. Minute Maid Lime! Hands down best place ever. They always great you well. The food is excellent I mean I can't complaint. I get all my gains without having to worry about what's in it. The atmosphere is relax, although during lunch it gets packed but that's ok it is lunch after all. read more

Got the giant or monster burrito, and let me give you my background. I've eaten a lot of burritos. I don't have proof, you'll just have to take my word for it. This burrito that I just consumed....was a hell of a burrito. Not happy with the service here. Placed an order online and was eligible for free chips and queso. 40 minutes later I arrive and can't find the curbside parking. Apparently there's only one curbside sign for one slot. Anyways, I decided I'll go ahead and park near the door and call. No one picks up and voicemail is full. Since they don't respond calls, I have to get off. There's three other customers waiting for their pickups. We're there standing for about 10 minutes until finally orders are coming out (Place isn't even busy!). I then ask about my free chips and employees have no idea what I'm talking about even through I explained to them I get free chips with the rewards program. Employee tells me I have to get in line again to get my chips. Food is good but there's a reason why Chipotle is so much busier and popular than Freebirds. Will not be ordering online from them. Waiting in line is much faster than waiting on your to go order! read more

This place used to be so delicious! I don't know what happened in the last 6 months. But if I could rate today's food: 1 Star is to much. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.

When we plated our trays on the table my family all had heart eyes, and had equally loved our first bites. Their brisket is extremely tender. It's beautifully sliced and made for an amazing welcome back to the South taste for me. I was in heaven. I particularly enjoyed having the fresh pickled red onion for fresh, zesty cuts through the abundance of other saltier elements on the plate. Their menu is slammin! Their sides, and sausages all had crafty ingredients. I enjoyed their spicy link options and their macaroni was delightful. Their BBQ sauce was a nice 4/5 but certainly did the job. As a native Texan who's had their fair share, this was easily some of the best barbecue I've ever had. Top 5 top 5 top 5. I'm of course coming back and looking forward for more banana cream pudding especially. They were small, slightly sweet, and had great balance with the vanilla wafer ratio. That whip cream on top too had me hooked. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome back meal for the bold Texas cuisine, hospitality, and novelty animal and cowboy decor.

Holy crap the food is amazing. The worker that helped me so was so informative and helped me build my first Monster burrito! The store was clean. They even told me I came at the right time because they just finished a rush and usually places are messy from all the guests but they kept the tables and chairs clean and the food was fully stocked and looked delicious.
