When I got home, I noticed there was a foreign object in my food that absolutely should not have been there. I wasn't able to call Saturday because it was too late, and I had to work all day Sunday. I called Monday to report the issue and give the restaurant an opportunity to address it. I spoke with the general manager, Tan, and his response was extremely disappointing. He was very defensive, aggressive, and downright rude. Instead of listening to my concern, he questioned me by saying, "Why are you just now calling me?" and "Why are you calling me out of the blue?" The fact remains that regardless of when I called, there was a foreign object in my food that should not have been there. The timing of my call does not change what happened or make the issue any less concerning. I called when I was able to, and I should have been able to report my experience without being treated disrespectfully. I was calmly explaining what happened, yet he repeatedly told me to "calm down," as if I were the one being aggressive or unreasonable. I was not calling to argue or cause a problem. I was simply trying to make the restaurant aware of a serious issue with my order. What made the situation even worse was the attitude I received from management. Rather than taking the complaint seriously and addressing the food-safety concern, I felt like I was being treated as though I had done something wrong by calling. I did not ask for the foreign object or the additional ingredient that was found in my food, and it should not have been there in the first place. After this experience, I will not be spending my money at this restaurant again. I am also considering contacting the local health department regarding what I found in my food because this is a concern that should be taken seriously. Customers should be able to report legitimate concerns without being met with defensiveness, aggression, or disrespect. The facts remain the same regardless of when I called: there was something in my food that should not have been there, and the way management handled my complaint was completely unacceptable.

I will give this place a 4.5. So many great things... We (my husband and I) sat at the bar at close to 9pm on this past Friday night. We were greeted by Heather (she's great btw) and she took our drink order quickly. Drinks brought, Heather asked us if we'd been here before (we had not even though living less than 5 miles away forever). She offered us a taste of chicken salad (we declined, because fruit should not be in chk salad imo), so she offered a taste of spinach artichoke dip. I said yes, because yum! Well, it was good but was really leaking a bit of salt. I might order again. Husband ordered the teriyaki filet with mashed potatoes and soup which was broccoli cheese. The soup was amazing... The teriyaki filet (cooked to MR) was amazing... The meatloaf with marsala sauce was damn good but could have used a few more mushrooms and about twice the sauce. Downside... The mashed potatoes. My meatloaf came with them and bland is the best word to describe them. My husband also got the mash with his filet... So shockingly unseasoned.
