What a change of events at Fresh Millions! I had a bad experience my first time trying it, but I'm growing to actually like it. I enjoy their southwest chicken salad and today I decided to substitute the chicken for shrimp because I'm not the biggest fan of their cold chicken. They were VERY skimpy with the shrimp though so that kinda sucked. But the service was prompt and friendly, my salad was tasty, and I feel satisfied and satiated. The people I was with both got hot bowls with teriyaki sauce and enjoyed their meals as well. I walked in wanted to try the chicken bowl for the first time on a Friday evening. The restaurant was bright but empty. The lady at the counter was not very helpful. The chicken bowl "$10" was on the right hand side of the menu overhead. I didn't know there was another chicken bowl, at a regular price $16.99, on the far left side menu. I was not informed of the difference. I ordered thinking it was $10 bowl, chose a sauce, then she asked about the vegetables options(3). I later realized the total price when I was paying, but the cook already began cooking. The lady has poor communication skills in helping out customers. The food was greasy, not healthy as claimed. I usually love my fresh millions in San Ramon so today I ordered door dash from the Dublin location for lunch. I was very disappointed to find that I paid $3 for a itty bitty bag of chips. My wrap was good but was much smaller than the ones I usually get. I don't order door dash often cause it's so expensive so it's even more disappointing to spend the money to have such small portions. Fresh Millions!! I can't believe I haven't written a review on Fresh Millions. I love this place. Whenever I am in Dublin, I often pick up Fresh Millions for dinner because the food is still warm when I get home. Also the food is delicious! When I go to Fresh Millions, I order one of their bowls. Fresh Millions bowls consist of a base, a sauce, a meat, and four vegetables. I typically choose a steak bowl with noodles and the sweet & spicy sauce. Then I pick out my vegetables. I love the food because they cook up your bowl fresh and mix everything together right after you order it. Fresh Millions has other items on the menu besides bowls. They have salads and wraps as well. I believe I have had either a salad or a wrap and that was good also. I just prefer the hot bowls. Overall, I love Fresh Millions because their food is fresh and delicious. The service is quick as well so that's another plus. Ordered a salad for takeout on a Tuesday evening. The experience was fine, but note: (1) I had to place the order online, as the location did not answer the phone; and (2) not all of the usual menu was available online, and (3) since they wouldn't answer the phone, I wasn't able to ask them for something not on the online menu. It seems like they strongly discourage any variations from their set salads. But, the salad was ready when I came to pick it up, and it was convenient to have paid online beforehand. I had the Chicken Cobb Salad ($13.95 for a Small), and it was fine, but not great. The online price seems much higher than before the Shelter In Place Order (I last remember paying about $9 for the same salad, but maybe that just reflects the increased costs now). The chicken was cubed white meat and bland and rubbery, but all ingredients seemed fresh. I usually get the Mandarin Chicken Salad, but that wasn't one of the salads offered online. I had felt that Fresh Millions was a good family lunch option, since they offer hot dishes and salads and sandwiches, so there is probably something for everyone. Pick what type of protein, pick a base, pick a sauce, pick 5 veggies. My go to order- Shrimp hot bowl Half noodle, Half Spinach Sesame chili sauce 5 veggies (usually mushroom, zucchini, broccoli, bell pepper & tofu) Portions for bowls are just right, full of flavor and very fresh. My fav sauce is sesame soy chili but I've tried the green curry sauce and loved it as well. I love that they have vegan options and the noodle base is made of wheat. They offer pretty large chocolate chip cookies for the dessert lovers! Ambiance/decor- Super casual. Decent amount of indoor only seating. Utensil & drinks station is always well stocked. Service- friendly staff. They're great with phone in orders as well, my food is always ready when I go in to pick it up. I believe there are only 4 locations in the nation, yup the nation. I can say I'm pretty lucky to have 2 locations nearby in Dublin and San Ramon. This has happened time and time again. When I have to beg the person behind the counter to wash her hands before handling my salad it's a huge red flag!! Once it happened when she was sweeping/mopping the floor, I came into the store to place an order. She put the mop/broom aside and proceeded to put on the thin food-prep gloves to scoop out my greens.. I asked her to was her her hands and she argued with me that her hands were clean and I was being ridiculous. I stopped going to the Dublin Fresh millions for a while and found myself in the neighborhood a year later, and hoped I would have a different experience . Sadly no, as May 2023 I again had to firmly ask ... repeatedly for the lady behind the counter to wash her hands before handling my salad. The same lady from the year before came to the front .. with blue gloves from the back of the store.. I said I would like to order a salad ... and she immediately put the the food-prep gloves on top of the blue gloves poly-vinyl gloves she was wearing. Again, I asked her to wash her hands before handling the salad with her hands. She rolled her eyes and told me what she was doing in the back with her blue gloves was clean and that she shouldn't have to wash her hands... This is a great fast food type place. I don't feel so bad for eating here because they have a variety of fresh veggies to choose from and the food is good! PROS: - You can choose to have a bowl, salad, panini, or wrap. So, it's nice to have a variety. - The bowls is what I always get and they are good. - The sesame soy and chili sauce for the bowl is tasty and has a nice kick. - I love that they offer brown rice. - I love that they offer iced tea with honey and B vitamins in it. - The combination of shrimp and chicken with the sesame soy and chili is YUM! I ordered a hot bowl ( tikka masala, with brown rice, beef, red peppers, water chestnuts, baby corn, and mushrooms, $8 The hot bowl was ready within 5 minutes, it arrived to the table steaming and smelled delicious. The tikka masala sauce they use isn't as fatty or creamy tasting as the usual tikka masala sauces I have tried at Indian restaurants. All the veggies were fresh and crispy, the only complaint I have is that the portion size was a bit small, I don't think this bowl would suffice for someone whom was really hungry. There is plenty of seating here, and the restaurant is nice and airy. I want to come here again and try their salads and paninis!!! I just had a quick lunch here while waiting for a friend for happy hour at caps n taps. The service was polite and expedient. Seems to be a family run business which I love. Prices were a couple bucks higher than I expected, BUT...no one asked me for a TIP. Maybe it's the ordering system? The Chipotle-esque "pick your ingredients" doesn't do it for me. Can't you guys come up with something good that I'd like? It was placed over a bowl of romaine and other greens and topped with a small amount of pepper jack cheese. They gave me the BBQ buttermilk dressing on the side. Thank goodness they asked, because that was way too much dressing. The salad tasted good, but it's very simple. It's hard to mess up meat + cheese. Some of the salad pieces were starting to turn red around the edges. As others have mentioned, the focaccia bread wasn't that good. It seemed really bland and a bit dry. I'm a bread lover and I wouldn't willingly eat the whole piece. They make their paninis with foccaia...good thing they noted that so I could avoid them. DH got the "Sesame Soy & Chili Bowl" with chicken and 5 mix ins (mushrooms, green onions, baby corn, bean sprouts, and broccoli). I felt it was too salty. DH thought it was too spicy and should have been marked with a chili pepper. Noodles were a good consistency. It's nice the chicken was seared on the griddle and the veggies were well cooked. Overall, not a bad place to go, but not a good value. Could be a good choice if you're dining with people who want different cuisines. If you're looking for salads, it's probably worth a few more bucks to go to Sweet Tomatoes. If you're looking for quick Americanized Asian food, there's a Panda Express not far away. read more

Well ya this place had all the nutrients I as a plant based eater was looking for that is typically hard to find at one location so I am very privileged to have come to know this place. Get ready to spend some bucks but I think the quality is worth it and Lydia seems understanding. Just make sure you order with the right person cuz the lady I initially ordered with kept asking me if I was finished after every extra vegetable I chose. I told her "ma'am I will let you know when I am done" and she still caught herself saying it rushing ppl and shit. I think Lydia seen my frustration and was able to de escalate the situation after me speaking to her in private my thoughts upon things.
