I've followed her from a few different places and I will follow her to the ends of the earth. We've come a long ways with my hair and it's the healthiest it's ever been, thanks to her. Despite all the extra work we've had to do to get it here, we are still able to do the fun colors I decide randomly. I have extra curly, difficult hair that I like to wear a specific way. I booked a bang trim here, having never been here. I had curtain bangs that I just couldn't get to style the way I wanted and was looking for a stylist to help trim them in a way that would be easy to style and would give me more confidence. I originally booked with Ciara, but they let me know pretty quickly that she wasn't excepting new clients. Everyone at the salon looked like they were really experienced and had awesome work portfolios, so I was still very excited when I was rescheduled with Jamie. When I got there, Jamie greeted me immediately, and I sat down to explain what I thought I wanted. I had a few pictures, but admittedly the styles were somewhat different and I don't think I did the best job. However, Jamie saw the similarities in the pictures I showed her, understood what I was saying and gave me the cutest bangs I could've asked for. She was friendly, professional, and delivered the kind of experience I was hoping for - a stylist looking at what she had to work with and putting something into a style that worked for me, even though she didn't know me. Ciara made me feel like a million bucks! I went into Fringe & Friends knowing my hair needed a lot of help because my split ends were obvious and no matter how many masks I did my styles still just looked meh. Ciara did a deep conditioning treatment after washing my hair (which felt like a dream) and then proceeded to cut and style me. She listened to how much I wanted to take off and did exactly that. We stumbled upon Fringe, and were able to get appointments with Jamie...and now we both agree that we will have to go to Portland to get our hair cut from here out! Jamie was wonderful - we both love our hair (and I NEVER love my hair). She gave me great ideas about how to update my style and add fullness, and I can't believe how much her ideas suit me and how much better I feel. My daughter's hair was long overdue for a cut, and Jamie spent as much time as needed to bring it back to health and shine. Best cut and color I've EVER had, no exaggeration. I came in with super long brown hair, hadn't gotten cut or color in over a year. Jamie texted beforehand to clarify what I wanted and make sure we had enough time, which I really appreciated since it was my first time there. I wanted heavy blonde highlights, and I've had some pretty disappointing salon experiences before, but Jamie DELIVERED. I got the exact color I wanted and it looks beautiful. Not to mention, I don't think I've ever had a "good" haircut before where I actually notice the styling, but Jamie cut my hair beautifully so it's perfectly shaggy and has the texture I was going for. Ciara has been coloring my hair for the last two years and I'm holding on to her for as long as I can! My hair is naturally dark, and she has turned me into the most beautiful blonde!!
