Fanillis with potato salad or macaroni salad is my go to every time. Beers are cheap everything is good and service is great.

The sandwich was tasty. However they have reduced the size to about half of what it used to be 6 months ago. Prices have gone up a lot. Two sandwiches and two drinks over $40. Service was fine but the sandwiches took over 25 minutes. A sandwich should not take that long. Need to go back to bigger size and lower the prices before we return. read more

I would give it a solid 4.5 . Ordered the Barbara Streisand and added deli mustard and Swiss; thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Hubby ordered the Old Town and added deli mustard to his as well. It was juicy and the roll was wonderfully crusty on the outside while soft inside. Very delicious. Value is good, comparatively to a few other deli's, I would like to have had a pickle spear and small scoop of Mac salad or potato salad offered, but we purchased chips and a cold beverage. The folks were very nice, the lobby music was a nice smooth jazzy station, just perfect for the vibe of the place. I'll definitely be back to try something g new. Went here a couple times after I was told by my local that they used to have a location in a mall. The Westminster mall, i believe? Speculation as to why they closed down was because they didn't operate like a chain sandwich shop. To be honest, if I ran into Fritzankotters in a mall food court, I would immediately think this placed deserved to be an actual sandwich shop. Plenty of parking in the plaza and easy to find. The interior is very casual and cozy. Can't explain it, just a really good vibe in here. The handful of times we've come in, the staff have been super sweet and helpful as we learned to make our way around their menu. All their sandwiches that we've had (both hot and cold) are absolutely delicious. All your sandwich dreams come true here. Not to mention, they give some of their sandwich concoctions really cool names. Made fresh to order and plenty of selection. I need to order their Pastrami some day but I ordered the Zac Efron and it was seriously one of my favorite cold sandwich I have ever had . I'll have to learn to like sandwiches again. How this place got so many good reviews is beyond me. Either they're fake reviews from the business or from people who have never had even a decent sandwich ever in their lives. I grew up in the area and Fritzankotters was always delicious and always consistent. I admit it's been a while since I've been there but now that I'm back and working on the house I thought I'd pick up some delicious sandwiched. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Sixty bucks or three sandwiches on potato salads, most all of which ended up in the trash. Nothing like I remember. When I asked for some old favorites they were puzzled, but I figured menus change, things get removed, whatever. But even the sandwiched we ordered from memory were nothing compared to memory. They weren't even decent if I wasn't relying on nostalgia. Way over priced. Dry, flacid, chewy and very carelessly constructed. I've never been one to wish a business would fail, but knowing that this place is feeding people horrible sandwiches in my neighborhood really rubs me the wrong way. The atmosphere is casual and warming. You can get an alcoholic beverage if you desire, which is a nice complement to the food. We met the owner and she was very accommodating and helpful. Tried this deli for the first time in our way home from the beach. Place was very empty, serve was friendly. We ordered the Chasing Eddie which was very good. I wouldn't recommend the Sonny Sausage sub, it was very dry and the sausage was warmed up in the microwave. We wanted the pasta salad but they were out of it. Overall it was ok. really, really bad. Pastrami sandwich had one slice of cold bland pastrami and a mound of lettuce. Completely embarrassing excuse for a pastrami sandwich. Cherry soda drink had no syrup in it. Menu oddly arranged, odd set of items and hardly readable for elderly party members. Cashier said there was no written/paper menu even though I later noticed they were right there by the register. 2 stars since the macaroni salad was actually fairly unique and tasty. My boyfriend and I have been trying to get over there on a Thursday night for the pizza night and NFL football. Finally got there this past Thursday and it did not disappoint. I am half Sicilian, like Cynthia one of the owners, and I can just feel the Sicilian feel in this cute eating establishment. The little set up with all the Italian fare reminds me so much of Gagliano's Deli in Pueblo, Colorado where I am from. The crust on the pizza was light and airy and the sauce was amazing. We have been enjoying the sandwiches here for years and love that the new owners still have some of our old favorites. I cannot wait to try one of their to-go Italian meals and we will definitely be back for pizza! Both Cynthia and Gabi took the time to talk to us and they both are so sweet and delightful.
