Carne asada burrito
Yvonne P.

Easy access, loads of parking, quick seating and service. The food is your average chain Tex Mex, but the table side guacamole pushes this place up a star. Service was excellent; our server was efficient, helpful and funny. She wrapped our leftover guacamole to perfection. It was great the next day. An avocado miracle!

Thia place is wonderful they made me feel special. The food is very goo my favorite is the chicken burrito.

Food was somewhat ok, well my kids liked it so thats a plus. In house made to order guac is a plus not sure how i feel about this place... might be back for the guac.

Great atmosphere and great food. However, there are small portions for the price. Stopped here to eat during and over night visit to Massachusetts.

So good that we cancelled our reservation we had the next evening elsewhere and came right back. With that being said, let's get right into it. The hostess seated us at a beautiful corner table outside looking out to the ocean and the bridge entrance and skyline of New Bedford. The view was simply amazing. Our waitress Bri was, for lack of a better word? Awesome! She was friendly, patient attentive and made some of the best cocktails my wife and I had and no they weren't watered down like most places do but again, perfect in every way. Right amount of everything. Everything we ordered came hot, fresh and most of all delicious also a reason why we chose to visit a second time. The next visit we were blessed enough to have a table in the exact same location and and again everything was amazing. From our server Peyton, great great guy! To the drinks he made to the food service. What an epic time we had! On behalf of my wife and I I would just like to say THANK YOU so so much for a wonderful anniversary weekend. We are both looking forward to coming back sooner than later. Continue being great. You have our full support!!!

The fried combo is a fine choice with the aforementioned mollusk plus scrod. I was off regular chowder for a while due to my clear RI obsession but with the excellent Fathoms concoction I was happy to revisit the "regular" version. And given the relative dearth of great iced tea in "the world's best city" I was thrilled to find a great one at Fathoms.

Wow! Just wow! My…read moresocks were completely blown off by this place I had yet to hear about let alone step into. My friend who owns a business just up the street suggested we meet there for dinner tonight and boy am I glad she did! This is a top of style restaurant with small portions, but each is packed full of flavor. Everything was excellent! The service, the atmosphere, the food! The food! The food! Every thing I tasted was a delight. There were so many amazing flavor, combinations, and spices and sauces that complemented each dish. We ordered five items and all of them were excellent. I can't wait to go back! My only complaint is I didn't arrive hungrier. I would've and could've tried more items on the menu. I also wish I wasn't so enamored with the food so I could have snapped a few pics. It was just too good!

We genuinely love Marion and were so excited when Cast opened--it's been our go-to for a quick date night with great ambiance. But sadly, this visit was a big disappointment. We ordered the chicken tacos, which are supposed to be pulled chicken, but they came out soggy with tiny bits of flavorless roasted chicken--definitely not what we expected. I couldn't even eat the second one and left hungry. We also got the hot crab dip. The dip itself was good, but the crackers were super greasy. We tried a few different drinks, but none really stood out. The vibe and service is still great, but the food felt really mediocre--especially for the price. After loving this place for so long, we're honestly not sure if we'll be back. We want to support local, but this visit really missed the mark.

I cannot say enough good things about Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery. From the moment you arrive…read moreon their stunning property, you understand why this place is truly special. The Russell family has been crafting wine here since 1982, and that generational passion shows in every single pour. This isn't some corporate operation -- it's a fifth-generation family of vintners tending 80 acres of vineyard on a 435-acre farm , and you feel that love and care the moment you step on the grounds. The wines themselves are world-class. Their champagne-style sparkling wines are rated in the top 100 in the world and have even been served at the White House -- twice. And yet somehow they remain approachable and unpretentious. Their flagship Brut RJR offers compelling aromas of apples and toast, with fine tiny bubbles, crisp citrus, and a lengthy, satisfying finish -- at a price point that makes you feel like you've discovered a secret. The Atlantic Northeast's cool maritime climate and the farm's rich soils layered with granite over glacial outwash give the wines a gorgeous balance of luscious fruit and bright acidity that you simply won't find anywhere else. There are no wines on the planet that pair better with local New England seafood. The outdoor patio with vineyard views is absolutely beautiful , and the Friday evening Sunset Concert series makes this one of the most charming date-night or weekend destinations on the South Coast. Their winemaking philosophy uses ancient, traditional methods including those of Champagne and Burgundy -- minimal processing, maximum patience. You taste the difference. If you haven't visited Westport Rivers yet, you're missing one of Massachusetts' true treasures. Five stars isn't enough.

There were some teachers and a lot of older couples. You couldn't blame them as it was a perfect winery day. They had a food truck with lots of items on site. We didn't get food, but anyone who had some, looked like they were very pleased. The woman who helped us was very nice and helpful. I hadn't been here in years, but it was just as lovely, if even nicer than when I was there last.

We started with the calamari with spicy peppers and salsa rossa, which was delicious, well seasoned and very generous in portion. The Caesar salad with lemon-garlic dressing and a parmigiano crisp was perfectly balanced and fresh. The cacio e pepe arancini were a delightful surprise and quickly became a favorite at the table. For entrées, the scallops with risotto were outstanding. The Chicken Bosco and Chicken Francaise were both amazing: tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. For dessert, my mom loved the caramel apple cannoli, which paired perfectly with her cappuccino. It was an excellent meal from start to finish, with attentive service and great food. We'll definitely be back.

The zuppa toscana was flavorful but arrived a bit cold, which affected the texture. (Not necessarily their fault) but it paired well with the complimentary rosemary bread. It was so soft and easily the highlight of the meal, though the butter was quite salty. The chicken Milanese was cooked well, and the arugula and tomatoes were fresh, but the sweet, Italian dressing adjacent sauce didn't work for me. My fiancé ordered the pizza which was also just okay. We topped it with balsamic drizzle which elevated it. Overall, I wasn't very impressed and will likely stick to my usual spots, like Ma Raffa's, for Italian. They also forgot the silverware I requested, which wasn't a big deal but worth mentioning. All in all, I'm sure there are better things to order from here, but I wasn't wowed by anything I tried.

Review for The Bayside Restaurant - Westport, MA Sand, suds,…read moreand that sweet, sweet lobstah! Anytime I find myself in Dartmouth, there's one non-negotiable: a pilgrimage to The Bayside. It's not just a restaurant--it's a seaside ritual. A full-on coastal vibe check. By day, this place hums with a tide of locals and sun-kissed visitors, all riding that same salty wavelength. The outside seating? Chef's kiss. Whether you're perched at the surfboard table (yes, really), chilling by the firepit, or posted up at the outdoor bar chillin' in the shade or soaking in the rays (depending on time of day), it always feels like a low-key beach party. Add in that Scooby-Doo-style van hawking t-shirts and tank tops and you've got yourself a beach fiesta postcard . Drink-wise, they're reppin' the South Coast with a rotating lineup of New England brews and a cocktail menu that says "kick off those flip flops and stay a while." The chowder? Clam or seafood--either one is a pregame MVP. Creamy, flavorful, and loaded with sea-kissed goodness. But the main event? That lobstah roll. Oh baby. Warm. Nekked. Buttered. No mayo nonsense (that's how I roll). Just pure, buttery shellfish glory piled high in a toasted split-top roll. Served with fries that actually hold their own--crispy, salty, and impossible to stop picking at even after you "swear you're full." Service stays solid despite the crowd--friendly, laid-back, and on point with the refills and check-ins. They know what they're doing, even when the patio's packed and the orders are flying. The Bayside is a beach town legend. Come for the lobstah roll, stay for the surfboard tables, the sun-soaked vibes, and the kind of carefree energy that makes you wish you lived on a boat. (Or one of them campers along the coast)
