Frozo's is located near Santa Clara University in an older strip mall on Lafayette with a large parking lot in the back. To Zoey's delight, they allow dogs inside the shop. They supply large cups, and you fill them yourself with as much frozen yogurt and as many toppings as you like. The price is determined by weight. The abundance of toppings is quite impressive, and includes various types of cookies and candies. My husband and I both opted for the vanilla/chocolate combined and a few toppings. It was delicious. The place is quite clean inside and the counter people are friendly.

I remember passing by this place but never once did I stopped by till I pulled up to the back of the parking lot which is a huge lot and noticed this shop right next door to Hungry Hound. Bro and I came by on a Wednesday and we were the only ones staff were very friendly and attentive. Spacious interior its specialty is frozen yogurt with endless toppings and shaved ice comes with different flavors either regular or large size cup only a dollar difference. We chose milk tea I had the Thai milk tea regular ice 25% sweetness no toppings Bro had the Okinawa milk tea no toppings both drinks were refreshing maybe next time we may go back with frozen yogurt or banh mi sandwiches unfortunately they were not available at that time. By the way both drinks were under $7 regular size a dollar cheaper if they were small size.

1000 Lafayette St Santa Clara, CA 95050 Frozo's is a nice place to get cool drinks, Vietnamese sandwiches, and frozen yogurt. It's right across the street from Santa Clara University, and has lots of free parking in the back. The interior is spacious with a comfy sofa and lots of tables. There also appears to be free WiFi. Frozo is a pay-by-weight place. You grab a cup or cone, serve yourself, add toppings, and then weigh and pay. Tip: On the machine, the center valve is the "twist" or swirl. It mixes the two flavors together. Overall, I'm giving this place 4-stars. At first, I thought my receipt showed a charge error. So I called the store and asked for an explanation. According to my receipt, my cup of fro-yo weighed almost one pound?! Frozo's receipt is hard to understand, and it's different than all the other places I've been to. Everyone else (Yogurtland, Easy Breezy, etc) uses the simple receipt format: (True Weight) x (Price per Oz) = Your Price Tare Wt deducted, fees and taxes added- if any Frozo's receipt says: (Price of Yogurt) x ( % of a pound) local sales tax added No mention of tare weight deduction Is this getting too technical? Oh well, your frozen yogurt tasted really good! I have reviewed over 30 frozen yogurt places in the SF Bay Area, and your "fro-yo" is pretty good. It has a smooth creamy texture, and natural fruity taste. No chalky after taste, or gritty texture. There's lots of dry, wet and liquid toppings. However, the flavors are limited. They have 4 machines, and 1 is not in operation. So, they have six flavors, (May 2025) - Original Tart - Pomegranate/ Raspberry - Chocolate - Vanilla - Strawberry Shortcake - Yellow Cake Batter (plus center swirl) 69 cents/ oz is pretty cheap for fro-yo. If I'm in the area I might return and give them a 2nd chance. Restroom available, front and rear entrances.

I came here one evening after dinner. It's been a while since I last got frozen yogurt, but this place was a good choice. I was surprised they also sell banh mi here. Anyways, they have a variety of flavors for frozen yogurt, and lots of toppings. For the price it is a bit more spendy since it's cost per ounce.

I had no idea this place even existed until my daughter told me about it. I could honestly say I like this place better than other ones I've tried mainly because they have so many topping options, which most known frozen yogurt places don't have. But, there's a but this place doesn't have a lot of yogurt flavor options, they got your typical chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, tart and some other one which I can't remember, which I wished they would have had some other fun flavors. Nonetheless this place is still good not only for their frozen yogurt, but also they have many other options like sandwiches and boba drinks.

    Grilled Pork Banh Mi

The store was clean and spacious with plenty of tables and chairs. The staff were friendly and prepared my order quickly. I enjoyed my grilled pork banh mi, which had the perfect amount of ingredients filled in a crunchy baguette. The hibiscus strawberry and passion fruit italian sparklers were refreshing. I will definitely come back to try the frozen yogurt!

Came here for shaved ice and wasn't disappointed! I'm lactose intolerant so I couldn't indulge on any frozen yogurt, but their selection is decent with a large assortment of toppings. The shaved ice really hit the spot on a hot day, and you have the option to get it with condensed milk. For around $5, you get a lot despite only getting the regular size. Staff here is very friendly and patient as it was our first time here. Store is open and spacious with a variety of seating. I will definitely be back in the future!

This is a hidden GEM!!!! The frozen yogurt toppings are infinite there's a substantial amount of candies, cookies and fruits to choose from. I liked the choco frozen yogurt and the strawberry banana was a trueee fruity yogurt. Their BANH MI IS FIRE the grilled pork marinade is so yummy. And the #1 special has a hefty amount of pate and cold cut meats. Hope to try their smoothies next time.

I went with the Coffee Crunch, and honestly, it's no joke, it is delicious and absolutely packed. However, at an $11 price point, that coupon was the only thing keeping it in the "reasonable" category for me, especially since the portion is just a standard size rather than something more substantial. The layout of the place is a bit of a trip; unlike Jamba where everything is out in the open, the staff here is tucked away in a back kitchen area. I spent about five minutes waiting for my order to emerge, wondering if I'd been forgotten! But if you're looking for a quiet escape with god-tier air conditioning, this is the spot. I stopped by on a sweltering afternoon and it was nearly empty, cool as a whistle, and filled with trendy, comfortable seating rather than your typical stiff restaurant chairs. While I'm personally not a "bowl" person, the rest of the menu looks great. It's definitely got more of a local health-spot soul compared to the corporate feel of the Jamba down the street. I'll definitely be passing this place along to my pre-teen daughter, it feels exactly like the kind of trendy hangout she's going to live at as she gets older. Go for the crunch, but definitely stay for the AC.

Highly recommend it! It's layered with so many good ingredients and the flavors work perfectly together. The only small downside is that they didn't have knives or forks available. Because the toast is so stacked, it's a little tricky to eat with your hands. That said... it was so good I didn't really care. The açaí elixir was also pretty good. Refreshing and something I'd order again. Service was a little slow but friendly, and the place seemed fairly clean overall. I usually go for a bowl at places like this, so next time I definitely want to come back and try some of their açaí bowls -- but once I saw that PB&J toast on the menu, I was locked in. Overall, I liked this place and would definitely come back.

While I can't speak to most of the customer service experience, the order was packaged nicely and securely. The Avocado Toast was the star of the show for me. Probably one of the best avocado toasts I've ever had flavor-wise. While I do also appreciate a lightly salted plain avocado flavor, the cilantro + lime + chili was the kinda vibe I knew I needed (but had never experienced) in an avocado toast. The bread was thick + toasted + soft. Tasted better than I expected after reading the menu description. Pretty filling for $8.50, current economy considered ); Vanilla latte & Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant were also solid. I got an extra shot in the latte and found it to be adequately strong. The croissant sandwich was pretty good with what appeared to be real egg. My satisfaction for the value of the experience may also be skewed by the fact that I got a 40% off for $10+ deal for this meal. It's still hard for me to wrap my mind around how expensive everything has gotten. So, my 5 stars is only representative for the taste and presentation here, less so the value, ambiance, or customer service. I'd come back.

I ain't gonna lie; I'm all about customer service, good food, and value! When ordering, I was told they were out--of what I understood to be the bread--so I asked, "What other bread options do you have?" The cashier rambled off some options, including "white bread." Internal dialogue: "White bread? I didn't know that was still a thing." Turns out, next to the Texas toast, it was the lowest-carb option, so I opted for it. She rang me up at $14.50... $14.50!!! I said, "I don't understand--why is it more than double the price?" To my complete chagrin, she replied, "I have to charge you for a BLT. Would you like lettuce and tomato on your sandwich?" Mind you, they also offer a cheese melt for $6 that comes with the infamous "white bread" and melted cheese. All they would have to do is add the egg and bacon! At least, that's what makes sense to me. I said, "I'm sorry... I do not want a BLT. I just want what I ordered, and I'm okay with white bread as a substitute for the croissant." She insisted, "We can't do that." WHAT??!! I said, "Charge me for the melt, and I'll pay extra for the egg and bacon. How's that?" She said, "Sorry, we can't do that." Internal dialogue: "But they can charge me for a BLT and make substitutions..." It made absolutely no sense! She ultimately conceded--charged me for what I requested--and gave me this bland-looking thing that was barely warmed up, much less toasted! I went out of my way to support "my community" and introduce a colleague to this place. I was so embarrassed--for them and for us! Never again! To boot: I added an almond milk latte, which took way too long to come out. When I went to check on it, the barista looked at me confused. Just then, another customer ran up and said, "Oops! I grabbed your drink by accident--but I didn't drink from it yet." The top hadn't been opened, from what I could see. I surrendered, moped back to my mediocre white-bread sammy, and tried to enjoy the moment. I actually enjoyed the latte... I was about two-thirds of the way through it when I noticed the receipt said OAT MILK--instead of almond... Ayyy, mi gente! Jamás!

The menu prices posted online don't match the in-person menu. For example, the chilaquiles were listed at $17.45 online but $19.45 in-store. Online ordering uses the correct lower price. Nevertheless, the chilaquiles arrived after 15 minutes and they were phenomenal. It's surprisingly difficult to find chilaquiles that get every component right. Usually, the chips are soggy, the beans are forgettable, or the protein feels like an afterthought. Not here! The texture was exactly what I wanted. Chips were softened enough to absorb the sauce but still maintaining some structure and bite. The black beans were cooked perfectly, the jalapeños added a pleasant kick without overwhelming the dish, and the beef chorizo wasn't rationed out. There was a generous amount throughout, and every bite felt balanced. Perfect amount of salt and seasoning. Service was excellent as well. Friendly, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive. Finding parking, however, was another story. After circling the area, we eventually turned onto Auzerais Avenue, found street parking, and walked a few minutes back. Not the end of the world, but definitely something to keep in mind before visiting. Between the parking situation and the menu pricing discrepancy, there are a couple of minor annoyances. But when the food is this good, they're easy to overlook. These were some of the best chilaquiles I've had in San Jose, and that's ultimately what I'll remember. If the rest of the menu is anywhere near this level, I'll gladly be back at iJAVA.
