Come here if you want someone named John to make you feel stupid when you order a cheeseburger. The speaker at Frugals is broken and next to a busy and loud road so it's very hard to hear each other. On three occasions while ordering I gave my order and it was repeated back incorrectly. After I asked to clarify a fourth time if he had a regular burger or a cheeseburger on my order he proceeded to explain to me what the difference between a hamburger and a cheeseburger was in an extremely condescending and rude manner. After all of that they still overcharged us for what we originally asked for and forgot our drinks. There are plenty of other burger places you can go to in the area who treat you kindly. I get the same thing every time- the Bacon Cheeseburger! It's absolutely juicy and flavorful. The fries with fry sauce are good too, although the sauce is an extra charge. This is just a drive through so you order and get on to your next destination. Sometimes they are slow to take your order, but that doesn't get in the way of me coming there because the burgers are on point! It always tastes so fresh. Hungry , I arrived at Frugals around 130 for lunch . The place was clearly busy. I ended up waiting in stop and go traffic for about ten min , which isn't the end of the world , I mean I get that it isn't in their control. However , in the midst of being stuck in line I hadn't realized that the order can only be made near the menu at the intercom as I was focused on the traffic. When I arrived at the counter , instead of taking my order , I was told that I needed to head to the back of the line. I asked if I could just make a quick order , and the employee at the counter snapped back and stated "Since it's so busy , I can't take an order right now from you, you need to go to the back of the line ." Needless to say that I will not be coming back. This was my first time at this location in years , and while I do realize that this interaction might be atypical , go elsewhere. read more

This best thing about this place? The location. when your driving home you always see it and think "huh a burger sounds good right now". They can get busy so be warned. The fries are just like McDonald's. I swear. The half a bunch of different burger but just stick with the cheeseburger. They don't have lettuce wraps for their lettuce burger. Your 5burgers, fries and milkshakes (which I never ordered because my first try was too sweet) are all prepared right to the palate. We have been coming here since we found your place as this is better than In and Our Burger, equal to Val's Burger in Hayward, California in taste but price cheaper. My concern as anyone else's now, is the Coronavirus multiplying in King County that prevented us to visit your place recently. Went yesterday, March 1st and they said they could only make me 5 burgers because they ran out of buns (changed from 3 to 5). Went up to pay and asked for sauce and they didn't want to give me any (I would gladly pay for them). The lady looked at the sauces and said "nah we sold everything" and proceeded to give me two ranches when I asked for ranch and honey mustard. Today, March 2nd, I went in again to give it another shot and they're closed 40 minutes early? You don't run a business like that. Four stars comes with a caveat...this is fast food. But for me, it's pretty good fast food. It has been consistently good, I haven't had any scary problems (hair, bugs or other unwanted matter in my food) and they have seasoned fries. My main tip is to order the fries seasoned. That makes all the difference. Their fry sauce is also pretty good. They usually have a variety of milkshakes, I haven't tried any but some of the seasonal flavors they offer look pretty good. They sell coke products. You won't find a huge menu like other fast food joints, this is basically burgers and fries. But like I said, it's consistently good and worth checking out. read more

Great little drive-thru only burger joint in Auburn that serves up delicious old fashioned burgers. We stopped by after a hike and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It was everything I expected - crispy bacon, melted american cheese, well season patty and all the standard fixin's (lettuce, tomatoe, pickles, ketchup & mayo.) I espeicially enjoyed the pickle chips which were bright and crunchy. Service was also very fast as well. I splurged a bit and ordered a "razzleberry" shake which was just ok.
