Shrimp pad Thai is one of my favorite Thai dishes. Fuji Thai shrimp pad Thai has nice flavors but the ingredients are sub par. None of the ingredients taste fresh. I've had a lot of Thai food in my life. My girlfriend is never had Thai food so it'll be a good time to introduce you to it. Order a lot of food three entrees and one appetizer. The app was papaya salad. I've had a lot better papaya salad. This one was not hot at all, no heat. More sour. Def not ordering it again. The panang soup was good. I like that they offer both Thai food and sushi, seems like many restaurants are doing this now. Its nice to have the option to eat either or both. I tend to get the sushi here more often. It is excellent and since this place is closeby i try to stop in often on the way home from work. The staff here is attentive and very friendly. They remember you when you come back which is really nice! The food here is very fresh and homemade, thai food takes a little longer than other styles of cooking but it is worth the wait! Lets see here...my wife and I have been here at least a dozen times. The food is wonderful. My current favorite is the Kahosoy. The prices are resonable. The sushi is a bit expensive, but the main dishes are a great price (except to add shrimp is $4 more). I can not see how shrimp is $4 more than chicken. Perhaps because the shrimp is fresh not frozen (I assume by the taste). The staff is awesome, amazing, perfect. My only fear in writing this is that it becomes so popular we will have to wait to be seated. read more

Their food is mediocre- there are plenty of other thai places with better food. On top of disappointing food, I am so disappointed in their customer service. I placed an order for delivery online and when it was delivered, not only was it incomplete, but I was charged more than I was charged at ordering and on the receipt I received in my email. I called and they refunded me for the item they forgot to bring, but said I was charged double for delivery because it was far. I never got a phone call explaining this to me- it was just done. I don't think that it's ever ok to charge more than the customer agreed to without their permission. I politely asked for a refund of the difference and was told no. I won't be back. read more

My husband and I absolutely love Fuji Thai. We moved to the area about 3 years ago and are walking distance from the plaza where it is located and decided to try it and have not tried another sushi or Thai restaurant since. We think the food is great and the sushi is so fresh. I love sushi and I am very picky on the quality they have excellent quality sushi and good service. Its a great neighborhood hang out. read more

I am a big fan of this place. For some reason I find their Japanese cuisine better than the Thai counterpart. The lunch specials are highly recommended. The really amazing part about Fuji Thai is the service. This is the only place where the waiters kind of read your mind. You don't need to ask for a refill or extra chopsticks - it will be served in just few seconds when you need it. On your third visit there they know what your favorite meal is. read more

I dined here for the first time on Saturday for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Though the restaurant is small it has a massive menu of top notch fresh sushi and Thai staples. Many of the rolls were innovative and not things you would find anywhere else (Playboy role; double shrimp roll), and the pad thai was tasty. Even the dessert of Thai fried bananas was excellent. Prices were very reasonable and service was friendly and attentive. The only misstep was that some of the silverware at the table was dirty and a plate they gave us had a big chip and crack in it; this was corrected quickly. I'll definitely be back. read more

I was dying to try this place and with the kids being home from college, we decided to get a big takeout order (7 entrees). Over all, everyone loved their meal with one big exception; portions were small, very small. White rice containers were only 66% full and the entree containers with their meal was incredibly small. Something you would make fun of if you saw the container, french like. My yellow curie was good, but wasn't nearly as tasty as what I like. I'm going to share my thoughts with the owners in hope that they can change a little bit. We don't have enough different food in the area, they just need to "beef" it up. AWFUL!!!! The WORST Thai food ever!!!! Bland does not describe it. Not only did they overcharge for delivery (4 miles away) but the mussaman currry (they spell is masaman) is like watery soup with NO flavor. The Tom Yum soup has ZERO ginger or any type of flavor to it. When I called them to ask what they had delivered , their only reply was.."what do you want?" I want what you describe as Thai food. Had 3 different rolls. One was outstanding - the one with cilantro (surprising, huh). Two were mediocre. I don't remember what the name was, possibly "tornado" or "awesome", but the sauce on top of the sushi was a tad too much, it was thickly covered in it - which creates a mental disconcert. I've been coming here Friday for lunch several weeks in a row now. I love their Fuji Thai roll as well as the Double Dragon shrimp roll. The Pad Thai is also good here. Noodles are cooked but not over cooked like many Thai places. The Pad Thai sauce is rich and tangy, delicious. And the chicken is tender. I usually sit up by the Sushi bar where the staff is extremely friendly and informative as to recommendations of their own likings. One of my favorite spots for Sushi when outside of the Chicago city limits. read more

I placed an order online. An hour after I placed the order the manager Fun called me and first said the delivery driver called in sick and could not deliver the food. After I questioned why it took an hour to notify me, she then said "they were busy". Fun then put someone by the name of Jonathan on the phone who became very insulting. When I asked why we were not notified Jonathan became flustered and told me that I obviously wear the pants in my family, and continued to say insulting things to me. I then asked for the owners name and both Jonathan and Fun refused to give me the owners name because they didn't want whomever to know about our experience. The tofu in the Pad Thai was dry and rubbery, and the portions were small, especially for the price. Overall, the food was ok, but nothing great. The pad thai is not that good here at all. It is much better across the street at Oishii Thai. HOwever, the only positive of this place is their fresh crab ragoons. Fuji Thai offers good Thai food. Their lunch specials are a bit pricey. (I Am Siam is cheaper and offers bigger lunch portions.) Fuji Thai does use a lot of fresh vegetables though, which is nice. One thing to watch for -- DOUBLE CHECK if you are using a coupon. We just used a 15% off coupon and discovered (after getting home!) that they only deducted about 8% off the tab. read more

Ordered carry out: Bangkok summer rolls and pad thai for my husband and me to share. The summer rolls were way over priced. 7.95 for two short, fat rolls that were mostly filled with lettuce. And the peanut sauce was almost all hoisin and barely tasted like peanut. I guess the menu does say "sweet brown sauce" but ok accustomed to getting a peanut sauce with these. The pad thai was good. But the portion size for the 9.95 cost was not what I thought it would be. Probably won't return. read more
