I would advise caution before hiring Full Moving Company. I booked them on January 25th based on their Yelp reviews, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service. The crew that arrived didn't match the photos from previous positive reviews, which makes me wonder if there has been a recent change in management or staff. First, the team seemed to lack basic moving experience. They struggled to use standard tools, and it took an unusually long time to disassemble our bed frame. To make matters worse, one of the movers actually broke the frame while trying to take it apart. Because they charge by the hour, their inexperience with the tools not only resulted in damaged furniture but also cost us extra money in delays. Eventually, my husband had to step in and help them finish taking the bed apart just to keep things moving. Second, the overall pace was extremely slow, which was especially frustrating since we had already prepped and packed all of our small items into boxes beforehand. For comparison, a previous moving company we hired sent only two movers who efficiently assembled and disassembled our furniture, finishing the entire job in under six hours. In contrast, this company sent a crew of three movers, yet it still took them over 10 hours. Even though they spent all that extra time wrapping the remaining pieces, the actual handling wasn't careful. Much of my furniture arrived covered in severe dirt that won't wash off. Worse, a box containing fragile glassware was completely crushed. As you can see in the attached photo, the box was re-taped over the crushed area, which suggests the damage was noticed during the move but not communicated to us. Fabulous moving experience. I absolutely hate moving, especially dealing with movers. These guys were great, and I'm so grateful I wrote this review. I had two hard-working and very strong guys show up. They were 10 minutes early. I felt safe with my things. There were no BS additional charges. In the past, companies have charged me for additional steps to my apartment beyond 250 steps or additional fees for wardrobe boxes, tape, etc. This haul was short. However, managing an elevator to the building took some time. I helped with the door and the entrance. The total time was 4.5 hrs for two guys moving a 2br + house with nine pieces of large furniture, including a full dining room set that they took apart and reassembled. They checked my TV before and after. They also compensated me more than adequately for minor damage to a closet hanger bracket. I wasn't even going to say anything because it was a $4 fix on Amazon. Be aware there is an additional fee for oversized items over 250lbs. I had an oversized bookcase under 250, yet still very heavy and unmanageable. They got it in without a problem or any additional fee. I highly recommend the company and am grateful to have had their help during a difficult life transition. read more

Needed to move my daughter out of a third floor, no elevator, terrible neighborhood apartment to 45 min away. Full Moving Service estimated the job minimum and arrived at 9am in an 8-10am window. They parked out front as instructed which blocks cars but it's the only way here and we were all in and out so much we knew we could manage any issues and they were flexible for us on that. They called when close and I told them to park there and greeted them to make sure we didn't waste time. 3 flights of stairs and at first they estimated on site more hours than we thought a one bedroom should take but we all hustled, pitched in where we could to reduce time and they welcomed it. They were friendly, professional, and communicated everything clearly. It did take less time than they originally thought on site and we watched for productivity to make sure they weren't padding time but they hustled and got it done. They were careful with everything but also took our lead on what needed to be very carefully wrapped and what could be loosely covered and wasn't so precious. Unload was efficient and they were careful with everything. I was delighted with the final price, even including the double drive time over 10 miles requirement--about what they estimated originally. I had gotten quotes from others of $2300 for a one bedroom apt in LA. They ended up at $656. We did all the packing ourselves. This included wrapping mirrors, tv, some furniture, etc. and of course hauling it all downstairs. Would absolutely use them again. read more

Back again for another review. I found an apartment a little less than a month after using Full Moving Service to move all my items into a storage unit. After being very happy with my first move, I decided to use them again. Again, this company was responsive, had great availability on short notice and were very quick. Moving out of the storage unit into my new apartment took exactly 3hours which is their minimum rate. They have 3 guys who worked super fast but careful to get load, unload and set up furniture. They placed items where I asked and were happy to move somethings if they didn't work in the area I originally asked them to be placed. I'm very happy with their service, hopefully I won't have to move anytime soon but if I do, I know who to call. read more
