I'll start by saying that I messed up. We've had an issue for a while with water hammering in the pipes anytime a valve (tap, washer) was opened. I set up a request in Yelp to have plumbers come by to provide a quote on replacing the current 15 year old water hammer arrestors in hopes it would resolve the issue. Fuse responded quickly, and we were able to schedule a consultation just a few days out. Around the same time, we'd already scheduled having our water heater replaced. In the time between when we scheduled a visit with Fuse and when the technician arrived, the new water heater was installed along with an expansion tank that's apparently required by the city. When the technician (Steve) arrived today, I tried to demonstrate the loud hammering, but wasn't able to reproduce the sound. After trying the washing machine and a few taps around the house without producing any hammering, Steve asked if I have an expansion tank and if he could look at the water heater. Apparently, the expansion tank serves a similar function as the hammer arrestor, and aside from thinking that the one we have might be too small, we're otherwise okay. I felt bad about wasting his time with an issue that's apparently resolved itself, but Steve was very professional and nice about it all. I'd certain contact them again when I have an actual issue to resolve. read more

Fiuze came highly recommended so I decided to go through them to look at my leaking HVAC system for my business. They were prompt, which was good, and at first they seem to know what they were doing. They suggested I clean and change the filters. I asked them about the Leaks im seeing in business and they assured me they would take care of it. They told me I only had 1 AC unit that runs different "zones" and said they serviced the 1 AC unit. The total cost well 800 dollars. It was still leaking, in fact it was leaking even more. I asked them to come back and they said they couldn't spot any leak what so ever. They tuned the pump said said " its 50/50" and again told me I only had 1 AC unit and that the building HVAC piping was bad and that the leaks are from humidity And it leaks still I decided to go with another company and after 20 minutes they found out that I actually had 2 AC units, one for up stairs and one for downstairs. They found the leak from the downstairs unit *that was NEVER serviced from FUZE* and deduced the prombem immediately. They found that fuze hadn't changed my filters like they said, blocked the coils with cardboard for reasons unknown and hadn't even looked for a leak They were absolutely abysmal a their job (and they sent out multiple technicians!) How you miss that we have 2 units is beyond me, how you mis the giant leaking and pool of water in my duct (which was leaking the whole time) is also beyond me. I wouldn't trust them to look at your HVAC system after my experience read more

Fuse installed the heat pump in my home last week. From start to finish, I was very satisfied with the whole process. Estimate: I was given the estimate by Roby Shiroma. Before I met him, I met with about 4 other companies (Costco affiliated vendors, HVAC companies I worked with before, other recommended companies). Roby gave me the best estimate for the heat pump and also was the fastest at giving me a detailed accurate estimate. Other companies tried to upsell me in various ways. For example, one company said I needed to change all my old home ducts (about 30 years old) for $7k first before I could install the heat pump. Roby said it wasn't needed and explained why. Roby was correct because my heat pump works perfectly now. He was also a great guy to talk to. Friendly, helpful, honest and knowledgeable. Installation: Installation was done by Azamat B. I am very pleased with his work. 5 stars! He worked hard from morning until late at night for two days to install the heat pump. When he was done, the heat pump made a high pitched sound when air was blowing through the vent. It turns out it's because the force of air was so strong that when going through the vent, it made a musical effect, like blowing through a flute hole. Azamat came back on another day with another vent to fix the problem, at no extra cost to me. The new vent I saw sold at Home Depot for more than $100, but he did not charge me for it. On top of that, he was a very good guy. Very gentleman and nice. Other: Another great thing is that Fuse clearly tells me up front the rebate I can get from City of San Jose for the heat pump, and also what other benefits I can get. This was very helpful. Conclusion: They spend effort to make their customer to be satisfied, which I appreciate very much. My heat pump is working perfectly now and is silent, which is great. I saw from my solar report that it is using significantly less electricity than my prior Carrier unit, so I am very happy. Thanks to all of you at Fuse team! read more

Anton and Steve were a great team. They worked for 2 days at our home installing a new gas furnace and AC unit. They did meticulous work. Anton explained what he was doing when we had questions. And I hope this doesn't come up again. Since the work, we are getting knocking sound consistently and it's loud. We have complained literally 5-6 times and they came and said it is because of the clamps, kept on changing clamps but the loud knocking noise is still there. We are very frustrated as of now, the loud knocking noise starts even when we are not using the water. Still waiting for this to get fixed. I don't know what's happening. They have sent service person every time we complained but the issue is still not fixed. read more

My old water heater tank started leaking 3 days ago, and I needed to replace it. Through Yelp "Hire a Local Pro", I got a quick reply and proposal from Fuse, and chose them over a competitor whose proposals didn't match what I needed, and cost far more. That same afternoon, Fuse sent Sergei the plumber to my home, with a new Bradford White water heater - my preferred high quality brand. Sergei did an excellent job. He's a hard-working dynamo, a real pro. He replaced everything including flexible cold inlet and hot outlet lines, and the shutoff valve on the cold inlet that had started to corrode. He carefully applied sealant around the drain at the base of the tank, secured the earthquake straps and ground wire, etc. I'm delighted with my shiny new water heater. read more
